To Ann Tx, thank you so much for all your hard work in putting Zachary out there for everyone to see. I cant thank you and everyone else enough for your kind and giving heart and nature. I really hope this weekend will be the last search we have to do, if he is not found, I will continue to look other places I wont give up. I appreciate all the support and prayers from everyone. There were technical problems for several seconds. They announced some of the missing who have been found and then some who are missing all over the U. S.

A lady named, Nikki, was the guest after Christy Ragas. She is a close friend of the Jamison family who went missing from their home in Red Oak, Oklahoma. They were last seen on 10-8-09. Nikki became very emotional, at times, when talking about the Jamison family.

The missing are Bobby and Sherrilynn Jamison and their 6 year old daughter, Madyson.
It seems like they just vaporized. Their truck was found with clothes, thousands of dollars inside, cell phones, etc. Very strange. Something is very hinky!

I never heard of this case. Per Nikki, there has been very little media coverage of this case. I googled it and found these articles and video.

As we all know, there has been very little media coverage in Louisiana about Zachary Pittman. There has been no national media coverage on this case to my knowledge.

A local newspaper, The St. Tammany News, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, did an interview with Christy and an article was published today, 11-19-10. Here is the article:

Christy Ragas, mother of Zachary Pittman, the Pearl River area man who went missing in June 2009, expressed her frustration with the lack of help she feels she is getting from the community and local law enforcement as she tries to determine what happened to her son.

“He wouldn’t have just walked away,” she said. “He had no where to go.”

Pittman was last seen in June 2009 at his father’s house in Hickory. Shortly after 11 p.m. that night he called his mother and told her he had gotten into a verbal argument with his sister over who would be living at the home and the sister had called the police on him.

That was the last time she talked to her son.

When the police arrived he was gone.

Christy said she feels there should be a national TV station dedicated to Missing Children and Adults. She feels this station should be 24/7. Perhaps have a “live” cast for 8 hours and then run a repeat of that newscast with Amber Alerts as they happen. Also, a streamer could be at the bottom of the screen, listing the missing.

Christy said CNN, Fox, ESPN (sports), CNN-HLN, MSNBC, etc. are on 24/7.

I gave it some thought and she is right. Why couldn't some of the major TV stations get together, contribute equally (if possible) and have a TV station dedicated to the missing? No competition. No “fight” for ratings. Just pool resources and give back to the community!

Christy knows what it feels like to not have media coverage for a missing adult, her child. She hurts for the little missing children like Adji and Lauryn. Who is their voice? Why isn’t the media covering them?

Ann, I think the 24/7 channel for the missing is a great idea. So many people aren't aware of those missing in their own areas. Cold cases should also be a focus along with the ones that are getting little to no coverage at all.

I just spoke to Christy. She said the search is on going.

There were 8 cadaver dogs for the search Sunday, 11-21-10. There are a couple of possibilities they plan to pursue. She can not disclose those possibilities because it might jeopardize their efforts.

Christy is asking all of us to please pray for her so that she can stay strong in this effort to find her son, Zach. Today was just not a good day for her. Yesterday took its toll.

Christy said she does not have Internet where she is at this particular time. This just adds to the frustration. She said to please understand that is why she can not come on Zach's thread.

Please remember Christy in your prayers and send positive vibes to her!

Just know that my prayers are on going for Christy in her search for Zach. I'm sure has been a hard week-end for her and I hope she finds something soon.

Christy, I hope you had a good Thanksgiving day. I know it was really hard, missing Zach, but hope you were with your other family members and told about happy memories of Zach. That is what we did today. We had a lot of Kim stories and Karen stories, plus stories about my dad, and we cried a little and laughed a lot. That's what family is all about. We gave thanks for what we still have in our lives.

I just spoke to Christy. There is a continued search, for Zach, underway at this moment.

Christy is at the site and is actively involved in the search. It is in Louisiana but Christy said she can not disclose the exact location at this time or the nature of the search.

Hi Everyone,
I am back with a heavy heart. I did not want to leave Zachary again, knowing we are in the right area of where he is. My husband had to get back to work, and we are down with one vehicle. The other truck we have, we left in a automotive dealer repair shop. But the good news from this, we discovered something personal of Zachs. Get this I left several messages with the detective on the case, to tell him of o.mur discovery, and he still has not called back. The only problem we have with the item is I have to prove it is. I am 90% sure it is his. The people who have searched so hard and will never give up are called Help! Search & Rescue Dog Team headed by David Twist. Also my friend who has helped get us to this location is Josephine Puglesi, she has a gift she is a psychic. An organization who has been wonderful in helping with Zacharys case and is getting their feet fully wet in this case is Project Angel Eyes headed by Jessica Shipton. Through Project Angel Eyes I have met a wonderful lady who is a pyschic who also helped in finding this location where we are certain Zachary is, her name is Bee Hertz. The location where Zachary is so horrible it is like a landfill at least 6 feet deep with trash. You could hardly get throught all the bush and debri on the ground which I might add near a river, the EPA would love to see this property! I want to thank all my wonderful and faithful friends who I have met on this site, you have been so kind and caring toward Zachary and our family. I appreciate all the comments. May God Bless all of you. We will resume the search for Zachary soon. The people with the search and Rescue have permission to search any time so they are going to practice at this site while looking for Zachary. I dont think to many search teams have to go through this terain. It has a lot of swamp area too, very dangerous conditions. It has been 75 weeks today since Zachary has been gone, I really thought I would bring him home. I have to pick myself back up again and start a new strategy with this case. Like I said LE dosent seem to care about finding my son, so I have to be in charge of what to do next. I will keep yall informed about whats next with Zacharys case and once again thanks so much from the bottom of my heart for the love and support it is well needed. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do and it keeps going and never ending. Let me add to the post I just did, I want to correct something, I am not trying to hurt anyones feelings dealing with Zacharys search. My friend Josephine (Jo) lead us to this location where we think, almost postive he is at. Project Angel Eyes psychic Bee Hertz verified the location, I might add has been a great help and continues to give us support and helped us get the equipment needed to search for Zachary free of charge. They both (pyschics) are truly gifted and caring human beings. I couldnt ask for better friends. They both are determined to find Zachary, they really are in tuned with him. Thank you for your update regarding the search for Zach. I am so sorry you and the searchers did not find Zach during this search.

My prayers and thoughts were with you and the searchers! I will continue to pray and hope that Zach is found soon.

Christy, I can not even imagine how disappointed and heart broken you are because you did not find Zach during this search. It sounds as though the area is deplorable. I can only imagine how very dangerous it is with the swamp being in the area and all of the trash.

I am a strong supporter of Law Enforcement. I have been involved in many fundraisers over the years, in Harris County, to raise funds for injured deputies, police officers or for their families when an officer has been killed in the line of duty.

I have graduated from COP (Citizens on Patrol) in my county and am a member of the COP Alumni. We support law enforcement in our county. We have fund raisers to buy LE various items that will make their job easier. We recently bought each officer a new Glock pistol.

With that being said, I can not understand what kind of sheriff's department St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana has. Why won't they aggressively investigate Zachary Pittman's case? Don't they want Zach to be found? Is there some kind of cover up?

If I were you, I would contact Governor Bobby Jindal and the Attorney General of Louisiana. Maybe they can appoint an investigator from the State of Louisiana to assist St. Tammany in finding Zach and determining who murdered Zach.

I would call Gov. Jindal and ask to speak to him. His secretary will screen the call. I would think and hope that Gov. Jindal would return your call. Also, I would e-mail Gov. Jindal.

Then, do the same with the Louisiana Attorney General.

Someone, perhaps in St. Tammany Parish, is a murderer and is walking free among the citizens! My thoughts are if someone murdered once they are capable of murder again. Also, maybe this person has murdered before.

Considering all of this, I would think the Sheriff's Dept. would make this a priority. What have they done to generate leads? How many Press Conferences have they called to ask the media (TV stations and newspapers) to cover this story and put out info that they are seeking tips or leads in the Zachary Pittman disappearance?

They need to get off of their butts and investigate this case aggressively. One of the important things they could do is ask all of the Louisiana media to cover Zach's Cold Case!

Is LE trying to protect someone? Is there a cover up going on? Something is not right and it is hinky!

For your info, our Attorney General in Texas, is now getting involved in an unsolved murder of 4 people in Austin County, Texas. This gruesome murder happened in 1996 in the country. The elderly couple were well known and this shocked folks in the surrounding area. The scene was described as a blood bath after this happened.

The Texas Attorney’s General Office is now getting involved in the 14-year old Raccoon Bend Murder Case in Austin County.

Austin County District Attorney Travis Koehn says that Sheriff Dewayne Burger has assigned officers to work on the case and has received help from the District Attorneys office. In addition to this, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott has assigned a special prosecutor to the case to help DA Koehn.

Four people were discovered murdered on November 14th, 1996 in Austin County. Bernice and Aldon Schiller were found in a mobile home while Will Stetenpohl and his neighbor Ray Paine were also murdered. Investigators at the scene called the crime scene a bloodbath.

The killer or killers remain on the loose and the Austin County Sheriff’s office has set up a 24-hour help line specifically for this case. If you have any information call 979 270 0880. People who have additional information can also mail in the information at Raccoon Bend Bass Murders, at P.O. Box 1196, Bellville, Texas 77418.

Austin County has done an outstanding job of investigating this case and have spent an inordinate amount of time on it. As in many small counties in Texas, they do not have the resources and experts like a large county such as Harris County.

Austin County officials welcome this assistance from the Attorney General's Office.

As you formulate a new plan of action, I would definitely start with Gov. Jindal and work my way down. Do NOT let them blow you off! I think you will find the folks in Gov. Jindal's office receptive to you.

If you get no results with Gov. Jindal and the Attorney General, then contact your U. S. Congress Senators from Louisiana. If you get no help there, then contact President Obama.

I would have done this a long time ago. If you have been "blown off" by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office as you have stated on more than one occasion, then it is time for you to start with Gov. Jindal and work your way down and then turn to your Senators from Louisiana.

Please stay positive and stay strong, Christy. You have to find Zach and whoever murdered him needs to be charged, found guilty and executed!

I spoke to Christy. She is feeling better. She hopes to regroup one day this week and continue her desperate search for her beloved son, Zach.

She sent me an e-mail and asked that I post this beautiful Christmas Card on Zach's thread.
