I suspected the McQueary testimony wouldn't bring 100% guilty for that victim - just a little too vague.

I predict JS's sentence will be so long, he will die in prison. If the other inmates don't get him first.

Sandusky convicted of 45 counts, plans to appeal

Updated at 10:26 p.m. ET: BELLEFONTE, Pa. — Jerry Sandusky was convicted of 45 counts of child sexual abuse Friday night and faces spending the rest of his life in state prison.


Sandusky's attorney, Joseph Amendola, asked Judge John Cleland to allow Sandusky to be released on house arrest, but Cleland summarily rejected the request, saying: "Bail is revoked. Mr. Sandusky is remanded to the custody of the sheriff."


Sandusky was immediately led out of the courthouse in handcuffs as a large crowd of onlookers cheered.

This case is extremely sad, the only good thing about all of this is the outcome of the trial; Sandusky was convicted for his crimes against defenseless little boys.

I have been appalled and disgusted by everything that have been reported about his perverted activities with the victims when they were children.

After so many years of getting away with sexually abusing children, he is finally behind bars. Justice has been serve!

defense attorney speaking now...jury obviously believed the commonwealth's evidence. He was also found guilty in the court of public opinion. You all recall that we have asked for continuances, we have some appeal issues we will pursue. the prosecution is professional and presented their case very well. Judge Cleland was outstanding. Why he didn't testify, late last thurs afternoon, the commonwealth asked to keep case open because new information became available. Matt Sandusky came forward then with allegations of abuse from years earlier. Commonwealth wouldn't call Matt in CIC but would call him in rebuttal...presented us with dilemma, so reluctantly Jerry didn't testify. dottie and other kids were prepared to testify against Matt, but Jerry testifying would have destroyed any chance at acquittal. So, that's why he didn't get up on the stand. 45 out of 48 guilty doesn't prove that my client is sick. There are lots of people who are innocent in jail....people catcalling him now.....lawyer believes jury acted well, they were a good jury. Amendola has no idea why all of a sudden Matt came forward with this now. He was on the defense witness list. Jerry says Matt has problems. (thats rich)

I feel so sorry for Matt of course it was Matt fault, he was a problem child. So sad.

When I read that the Attorney General, Linda Kelly, arrived at the court house at 7:30 p.m., I suspected that a verdict had been reached, I also suspected that the jury had returned a guilty verdict, but, I didn't want to make any comments about it until I was sure about the outcome.
