Misty and Ronald Cummings officially divorced

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The marriage between Misty Croslin and Ronald Cummings, father of missing Putnam County girl Haleigh Cummings , is officially over.

St Johns County court documents show Misty and Ronald are officially divorced just 2 days after Ronald filed the papers. Both waived the 20 day waiting period.

They got married just over 7 months ago, about a month after Haleigh vanished. Putnam County Sheriff’s Office investigators say Haleigh was kidnapped early on February 10 and the last person to see the five-year-old was Misty Croslin, who placed the 911 call alerting police to Haliegh's disappearance.

That was fast.

It sure was Babbette. I thought it would be at least a month or two before it was official.

The laws in Florida must have changed because when I got divorced in Florida 12 years ago, it was a MUST that you wait for 30 days. The judge wouldn't even hear it or look at the papers until 30 days had passed. That sure was quick.

That sure was one of the strangest marriages that I've ever seen. It's interesting how Ron is not allowed to talk to Misty alone. It makes you wonder why Misty is afraid.
