TAYLORSVILLE - An Alexander County couple charged with killing the woman's 4-year-old daughter pleaded guilty Monday to felony concealment of a body.

Investigators found a child's skeleton on property near the home Olga Mendez and Kevin Eduardo Videa had shared in the Little River community in October 2008.

Mendez and Videa had moved at the time the body was found.

They were located in Longview, Texas, in late February.

The couple was returned to Alexander County in early March and charged with first-degree murder of Mendez' daughter, Brilly.

WTH, from murder to concealment of a body?????????? They were released, but I sure hope they are deported, since they were here illegally. The article says since the ME could not determine cause of death, the murder charges had to be dropped. I sure hope this doesn't happen in Caylee's case.

Hi, sitemama! Thanks for sharing this article with us. Unfortunately, I just cannot read the whole article, because, it will make me too angry. This is just so unbelievably disgusting. Where is the justice for this poor little girl? I just get so emotionally involved in any child abuse case.

I think the DA should be removed immediately. It is a total joke to charge them with concealment of a body. People have been convicted of murder without a body ever being found, so how can they drop the murder charges just because a cause of death can't be determined?

Do any of you much wiser than I, think this is what Bozo is trying for, no cause of death, no murder charges?

Yes, I think this could be one of the avenues they will pursue..... don't think it will work... but I think they will consider it.. depending on what else the State has up their sleeve.
