ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- In the case against Casey Anthony, the defense team filed paperwork that said the money Casey took from her friend, Amy Huizenga, was paid back.

This letter is very interesting...... Bank of America clearly states that they are NOT accepting the payment in lieu of criminal prosecution, so why would Bozo think this helps his thieving/murdering client?

AND they paid it back on July 10, 2009..... she's about to go to trial for it.... I just don't understand. Does anyone else besides me think this just looks ridiculous on the part of the defense?

I guess the other Ants never thought about paying that money back. I mean, the way they defend Casey..... one would think they MAY have paid it a LONG time back. But, then again, I guess Amy isn't really that important and we all KNOW that Casey had some good reason for stealing that money.

Something that I've always wondered about in this case......... just throwing this out there b/c it's always struck me as strange, am curious what others think. What I call "close friends " are mainly long time friends. I can only remember one long time friend of Caseys ( like from school )...... the others seem to be within the last few years. is it just me or does anyone else find that kinda strange ?

Yes, that's strange. However, everything about Casey is strange. I feel sorry for the people she called her friends. They were nothing more than targets. not fair

Lost, I may be in the minority, but, to me, a close friend does not have to be one that has been a friend for a long time. There are a couple of people that post right here on this site that I have known only for months, not years, that I consider VERY good friends.

However, KC is another story altogether. She did not know how to be a good and loyal friend. You can't expect to have one if you can't be one to others.
