Father Allegedly Tasered Man Who 'Sexted' Daughter

(June 6) -- An outraged father in French Valley, Calif., was arrested and charged with multiple felonies after allegedly using a stun gun on a man who "sexted" his 17-year-old daughter.

William Atwood Sr., 45, is accused of luring Justin Moore, 23, to his home, ordering him to strip down to his boxer shorts and tasering him on the shoulder. Atwood told authorities he feared for his family's safety after Moore allegedly sent his teen daughter a picture of his genitals.

"It just kind of got out of hand," Riverside County Sheriff's Investigator Veronica Rico told the Press-Enterprise newspaper.

I have to say I don't blame this father, but he should have called the police. They would have handled this and filed charges, now he's in a lot of trouble himself. The man is 23, his daughter is only 17. I wonder if he was her current boyfriend, ex or was he harassing her for some other reason. Taking the law in your own hands is not a wise thing to do, as much as we'd like to do it.

I wonder why he had him strip, then skipped the genitals.
I really don't blame the girl's father, and hope that he won't be held as an example to other outraged parents.

Geez... I feel bad for him, and understand his anger but wow...

Im not sure what he was thinking and how rational he is... Are tasers even legal???
