So here's my understanding of why Conway had to resign:

Cindy and George are determined to say Caylee's body wasn't overlooked by TES, it simply was NOT there. Conway was approached by NeJame to come have a look at the search records from that area, and Conway was convinced the area where Caylee was found had not been searched, thus Caylee could have been there back before Kronk made his first call in August. This was in conflict with what his clients believe, which is that Caylee was not there then....and since Conway, after having seen the records, could be called to witness what he saw and determined- that the area wasn't searched and Caylee therefore may have been there- he had to resign from representing G and C due to conflict of interest between what G and C believed and what he determined to be true.

Now...interestingly enough, the defense also wants to prove TES searched that area where Caylee's body was found back before Kronk made his first call about seeing something there.

So we gather that G and C and the Defense want Caylee's body to NOT have been there the entire time....suggesting her body was either moved there after TES searched OR Caylee was killed after that and placed there, both, while Casey was in jail thus someone else did it.

My question though is....how is it conflict of interest between Conway and G and C? I mean just because they WANT to say TES cleared that area and Caylee was NOT there, doesn't hurt THEM....or does it? I can see them firing Conway for going against what they want to believe....but I don't see him resigning because of it unless....Conway discovered something that had the potential to incriminate G and/or Cindy in some way.

Here's something else interesting....Nejame got the A's to sign a Waiver of Conflict of Interest when he left them and began to represent TES. Conway has no such Waiver signed by the A's....and yet he went to see records on the invite of Nejame that convinced Conway TES had NOT searched that area the A's want to insist TES DID search, thus placing Conway on the side of the prosecution more of less. Conway is saying he now has a Conflict of Interest because no Waiver was signed BUT it's not G or C who are being tried for anything by the prosecution! It's Casey! So what's up?
