Rumours Rumours and More Rumours...

Wow, AJ...I couldn't have said it better. I too, have heard numerous rumors. It's sad that, though nothing has changed in 10 yrs, it seems as if Nick is going to be hung from the nearest tree.

In Corys post (above), she talks of "Klay". "Klay" was a member here for a very short time (last year). I am SOOO very sorry that I didn't do more to allow her to defend Nick. I'm pretty sure it was Nicks girlfriend and she DID try to defend him. I was so afraid of hurting Cory at the time, that I didn't give Klay the chance to say all that she wanted to. I too, was going on "RUMORS". I'm so sorry for that.

I realize now that the things I was being told, reading around on the internet were just that RUMORS! I would actually like to take this time to put it out there that I AM VERY SORRY to Klay as well as NICK & the whole MCGUFFIN FAMILY. I realize now, just how wrong I was.

Is Nick "guility"? I don't know but what I do know is that I have seen NOTHING to say that he is.

Oh, and BTW...another "rumor" that was clearly untrue (as per the 20/20 show) the "mans white tee shirt" that LE said disappeared from the grandparents deck.....LE HAS IT. IT WAS WITH LEAH!!!!

Fysty, I think there were 2 different shirts. Leah had on a sleeveless white tank top like all the kids wear now. I think the shirt at the grandparents home was a man's T-shirt, that lots of ppl call a 'wife beater's shirt'.

Exactly momma. It was always rumored to be THE shirt that Leah had on that night & that the deck was "cleaned" & the shirt disappeared. But on the 20/20 show last night, they clearly have the shirt that Leah was wearing. It was found WITH her.

Now I'd personally, like to tackle the RUMOR about the trunk liner being missing & that being "suspicious". Does ANYONE honestly think that there was a trunk liner in THAT car PRIOR to Leah going missing????? Seriously???

That car didn't appear to have a trunk liner for MANY, MANY years PRIOR. IMO

In 1999, I purchased a 1979 Camaro Z28. It was preowned by a single owner. (a woman). Not only did it not have a trunk liner, but no jack, spare, etc. The trunk had been completely gutted. There were also knobs from the seats & little pieces of trim from inside that were missing.

A car trunk liner is nothing more than carpeting...correct? After years of dirty tools, oil cans & other fluids, does anyone really believe that there WOULD be a trunk liner?

I wonder WHO the "authority figures" that were telling people NOT to talk to LE were???? I wish we had someone closer to the case or in Coo's Bay, that could give us answers....REAL answers, on the rumors that were flying.

According to the old Chief, he stated that he JNEW who they were. Why not name names? AND at the very least, bring charges to those who were interferring with the case?

Now here is a PERFECT example of "RUMORS". I can across this article while searching for updates. Can anyone else point out what is SOOOO wrong with this article????

In 2000 Leah Freeman disappeared from her Coquille, Oregon neighborhood and her body was found a month later but police had no idea who the suspect was but ten years later her boyfriend Nick McGuffin has been arrested and charged with her murder. Police are not releasing any information on what ties Nick McGuffin to the murder of Leah Freeman. Due to the severity of the condition Leah Freeman body was in it was impossible for coroners to determine the cause of death. Nick McGuffin is being held on a $2 million bond and is expected to appear in court on October 14 2010
