JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — A Mississippi mother was arrested Wednesday in the death of her 3-year-old son after authorities said they found the child's burned body in an oven. Washington County Coroner Methel Johnson said police found Tristan Robinson's body inside the electric oven at his mother's apartment shortly after midnight. Johnson said the child had been burned in the oven, but an autopsy was ordered to determine whether he died before or after being put there.

The article said the body was still warm, from the heat of the oven, when he was found. What has this world come to. Are these mom's trying to see who can do the most horrendous crimes to these precious babies.

Terrie Robinson's twin sister, Sherrie Robinson, told WXVT-TV that people should not judge her sister before all the facts are known.

"She was a great parent, a good person. We don't know what's wrong. We don't know what happened. Do not sit there and call her a bad mom cause that's not what she is," Sherrie Robinson told the TV station.

Oh, let me guess...she was on meds that made her do it...?

Oh my, this is awful. There was a case of a mother putting her newborn in the microwave around here.......she was fighting with her boyfriend, the father of the newborn.

This just makes my heart hurt, unreal that a mother could do this.

GREENVILLE – A 25-year old woman has been sentenced to life in prison after she admitted she put her son in the oven while he was still alive. Terri Robinson appeared in front of Judge Ashley Hines in Washington County Circuit Court last week where entered a plea of guilty in the murder of her son, 3-year-old Tristan Robinson.
