6.7 Quake Strikes Off Vancouver Island

A 6.7 magnitude earthquake has struck off the west coast of Vancouver Island, with tremours felt as far away as Metro Vancouver.

But there is no tsunami warning advisory or warning for the U.S. or Canadian coasts, and local police say there are no reports of injuries or damage. However, there could be aftershocks up to magnitude of 5, seismologists warn.

Thanks kids! Mr eva felt it. He was at work leaning against a cement wall and he felt it moving. His buddy was standing in front of him, felt nothing.

My friend who works downtown Vancouver was on the 14th floor of a 30 floor bldg and she said the building was swaying to and fro and it made her feel dizzy.

Alas eva felt nothing, Martine didn't know about it...........
