ABC entertainment president says he’s reached out to ousted ‘Idol’ judge

PASADENA, California - Paula Abdul may be out of a job on "American Idol" but she could soon be dancing with the stars on rival TV network ABC.

ABC's entertainment president Steve McPherson told reporters on Saturday he would love to see the former "Idol" judge on "Dancing with the Stars" and had already called her about a possible role with his network.

"I would love to (have her). I was a little stunned by the ("Idol") decision. We would love to have her on 'Dancing' either as a participant or a contestant," McPherson said.

How could Paula possibly participate as a contestant?????? That would be like having John Travolta participate as one of the stars...... just say'n....

Paula would be a good fit for the show as a judge with her strong dancing background. I agree that it would be unfair for her to be a contestant as her dancing probably rivals that of the professionals.

I do not think it would be fair for her to compete. She would make a great judge.
