Arkansas couple found dead in home; girl who lived with them is missing

(CNN) -- A man and woman were found dead Saturday inside a home in Little Rock, Arkansas, while a girl who lived with the couple is missing, police said.

Police in the Arkansas capital got a call around 3:15 p.m. Saturday from a man who attended the same church as the slain couple and had found the woman just inside the home's doorway, Sgt. Cassandra Davis said.

Officers investigated and found that woman and the dead man, who was further inside the residence. Both of the deceased were in their 60s, according to Davis.

Amber Alert issued for Little Rock child abducted from murder scene

Arkansas lawmen are looking for a 12-year-old girl who was abducted from the scene of a double murder in Little Rock.

Amber Whitlow has been missing since 11 a.m. Saturday. She is a black female of unknown height, weight and eye color, with a medium complexion and a brown ponytail. She was last seen wearing knee length blue jean shorts, and a light blue short sleeve shirt. No photo has been made available.

Authorities are searching for a man who they suspect killed his parents in their Little Rock home and abducted his adopted 12-year-old sister.

Little Rock police issued an Amber Alert on Saturday for Amber Whitlow, 12, who they said was missing from a "possible homicide" scene Saturday.

Little Rock Police say the two homicide victims are Bobby and Annette Whitlow, both 65-years-old. Police say the suspect in the homicides is Antonio Whitlow, their son.

Press reports said that the child’s grandparents, who were in their 60s, were found dead about 3 p.m. inside a house at 2800 Zion St. in Little Rock where the three of them lived.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) Arkansas has issued a Morgan Nick Amber alert for 12-year-old Amber Whitlow. Police discovered her missing along with the bodies of an elderly couple.

Police say she may be with Antonio Whitlow, 33, but authorities are not calling him a suspect. Officials say he could be driving a 1990's 4 door, black over blue Lincoln, with chrome luggage rack, chrome trim around doors and chrome wheels.

Police found an Arkansas girl alive in Tennessee late Saturday, along with the man suspected of abducting her and killing his parents, authorities said.

Little Rock police spokeswoman Sgt. Cassandra Davis said officers in Memphis, Tenn., found 33-year-old Antonio Whitlow and 12-year-old Amber Whitlow — his parents' adopted daughter — hours after the couple was found dead at their Arkansas home.

Thanks justanopinion, but it really doesn't tell the difference does it? I guess it is the same thing, but they just wanted to call it after one of their own missing.

Thank God atleast one has been found safe, but what will she do, where will she live? Does she have any other relatives?

Thankfully he didn't kill Amber like he did his parents. I hope she has other relatives and doesn't have to go into the foster care system.
