Three Georgia men charged for 21-year-old college student's unsolved murder from 2013

Rebecca Foley was killed outside her apartment in 2013 after being shot in her own car. The murder remained unsolved until this Tuesday.

Three Georgia men have been charged in the 2013 shooting of Rebecca Foley, a 21-year-old college student who was killed outside her apartment in Savannah.

Kevin Lenard Smith, 23, Roderick Demoine Parrish, 22 and Jordan Lamar Campbell, 23, were all hit with murder charges on Wednesday for the Jan. 21, 2013, shooting.

The three accused killers were already locked up behind bars on unrelated charges when detectives charged them for the murder.

“We can never bring Rebecca back. We can never bring any victim back.” Detective Alan Sammons told the Savannah Morning News. “I would hope that our efforts in holding individuals responsible for the crimes committed will do something for the families out there that are suffering.”

The three suspects were trying to rob Foley when they shot her, Rebecca’s mother, Jennifer Foley, told NBC News.

Thanks for sharing, AD. It's always good to see evil perpetrators caught and held responsible. So sad for Rebecca and her family. These punks probably didn't even get very much money robbing her, so, she probably was killed over a few bucks. I wonder how LE finally caught them?
