Nightmare on ‘Big Brother’
Jeff’s gone from the ‘BB’ house; Natalie is HoH
There are no words. OK, well there are but none that can be printed due to excessive language.
The worst thing that could’ve happened on Big Brother happened — Jeff was evicted from the house. Yup, total and complete suckage. (Hate to say I told you so, Jeff, but …) And coupled with that, to make the night even more awful? Natalie won Head of Household.
Argh.
Those who go on and on about Jordan riding Jeff’s coattails to get as far as she has gotten are true, but the exact same thing goes for Natalie. Because of Jessie, and now Kevin, Natalie has gotten to the final four by doing nothing but being harpy.
Until last night, when it mattered most — or least, if you’re a fan of everyone else BUT Natalie. I still can’t believe that Natalie won a mental competition and not some poker game or taekwondo match to ensure her safety another week.
But it got me thinking — who will Natalie nominate? It seems obvious that she would put up Michele and Jordan. But it doesn’t matter what combo of houseguests she nominates — Michele/Jordan, Kevin/Michele or Jordan, Kevin — because whomever wins the Power of Veto holds all the power. Sure, Natalie is HoH this week, but it truly is the PoV holder that determines the future of the game by securing their spot in the final three.
Whoever’s got the Veto ultimately chooses who goes home, and while I’d prefer it to be Michele, I’m fine with anyone but Natalie winning the $500,000. And I’m thinking the chances for that are huge. (Yup, I’m actually ending on a hopeful note.) It took Natalie the entire summer to win her first anything this whole season, so her winning back-to-back Head of Household competitions seems unlikely.
Unless it’s a martial arts showdown, of course.
