Meter Reader Who Found Caylee Fired By County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Eyewitness News has confirmed that the meter reader who found Caylee Anthony's remains has been fired by Orange County.

Records show that Roy Kronk was fired on Tuesday after failing to attend a disciplinary hearing for an undisclosed reason.

Kronk found Caylee's remains on December 11.

At the time, he was assigned to check utility meters for the county. Casey Anthony is in the Orange County jail accused of murdering her daughter Caylee Marie Anthony.
