Autopsy: Baby found in ditch died from blunt force trauma

ZACHARY, LA (WAFB) -

The final autopsy report on a 2-month-old found dead in a ditch in April states the baby died from blunt force trauma to the head.

The body of Prince Javeion Deshaun Brown was found across the street from his home in the 1200 block of East Mt. Pleasant Zachary Road in Zachary on April 10.

Both parents have been arrested. Mother charged with murder. Father with possession.

The baby’s mother is, Sabrina Maiden, 22, of Zachary,LA.
His father is Willie Brown, Jr., 32,

During the search, both Maiden and Brown were detained. Brown was in custody following a domestic dispute between the couple on Monday morning.
Maiden had been brought Lane Regional Medical Center about 11 a.m. Monday after she wandered about 1/4 mile from her residence into a neighbor’s yard unclothed, with scratches and without the baby.
“The last time she was seen was Monday morning, about 10:30 a.m., when she left the E. Mount Pleasant residence unclothed but with the infant,” Hicks said.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner Dr. Beau Clark says final autopsy results show the 2-month-old infant found dead April 10 in a puddle of water in Zachary died from blunt force trauma to the head.
Clark tells The Advocate (http://bit.ly/LecLgY ) Tuesday Prince Javeion Deshaun Brown suffered a traumatic brain injury and he also suffered injuries to his limbs.
Sheriff's deputies found Javeion, the son of Sabrina Maiden and Willie Brown Jr., after searching an area between U.S. 61 and La. 964 for about eight hours.
Maiden was booked with first-degree murder in the death of her son.
The boy's father was arrested and booked on various weapon and drug charges.

One article did state the couple had a fight on Mon and the baby was reported missing by other family members on Tues.
The baby was badly beaten. Makes a person wonder what the hell these two were fighting over that the beat a 2 month old infant to death. The mother is accused of the death. I can't understand why both of them aren't being charged, and why there is so little information about this case.
