Judge's unusual order to man with nine kids: Stop procreating!

A Wisconsin judge has ordered a man who owes $90,000 in child support after fathering nine children with six women to not have any more kids, at least for now.

Racine County Circuit Court Judge Tim Boyle sentenced Corey Curtis, 44, to three years of probation on Monday with the condition he is not to procreate until he shows he can support his children, according to court documents.

“Common sense dictates you shouldn’t have kids you can’t afford,” Racine County Circuit Court Judge Time Boyle said at a hearing, according to the Journal Times. “It’s too bad the court doesn’t have the authority to sterilize.”

This story makes my blood boil. Although the scumbag baby daddy is on probation to "not reproduce for 3 yrs.," the problem is, imo, it is abusive to the children. 9 children that have an absentee father, one that doesn't offer financial support or serve as a role model, and growing up w/countless siblings they may or may not know? 6 different baby mama's and one baby daddy, it would seem would afford little of his time to spend w/each child.

I can't understand why a woman would choose to have a baby w/this guy, he has absolutely nothing to offer them or their children. It's sad imo, the children are suffering for decisions made by 2 consenting adults. imo, probably some of the children are on public assistance because this baby daddy isn't contributing to their upbringing or feeding them.

I can't understand why this POS isn't incarcerated. Everyweek a print out comes out in our local paper in people behind on their child support. Some are $40,000.00 behind, yet nothing is ever done to them. If you don't have a job, or a car, or a house, there is nothing the State can take to sell off to give the mother's. What a terrible mess, it's terribly sad for these children, imo, just another form of abuse.
