I listened to it over and over. I hear..."ha,ha, still (+a two syllable word I can't make out). Could be "breathing". Listen again and let me know what you think.

OK, freckles...I just switched to better speakers and had my daughter listen to it with me. We both easily and clearly heard her say...."Ha,ha..still beat you...(pause)..brat". I suspect this was directed at Flores because after all those hours he could not get her to cave in and confess. In Jodi's mind...she won that round!

Here is part of her 7-16-2008 interrogation with the female officer (Interrogation Video 6 on David Lohr's youtube channel). Sounds like Jodi wanted the police to find her journals. And likely had been reviewing/tweaking them prior to her arrest.
