Angel Miguel Perez -- Found Alive 11/24/09

I just heard on the news tonite there has been another abduction, this time a one month old baby. Mother left it in the car while she ran into the post office to drop off some mail. She came out in time to see a black woman putting the baby in a gray or silver auto and speed away.

The Amber Alert is out again on I77 and I40 in NC, baby was stolen in SC, just across the state line. I'll see if I can find a link.

WHY DO PEOPLE LEAVE THEIR KIDS IN THE DAMN CAR?????????

Authorities said a missing infant has been found and reunited with his parents.

North Charleston and Summerville police said a tip lead them to 1- month-old Angel Miguel Perez at a home in Summerville.

The baby boy was found unharmed and was taken to MUSC, for medical evaluation, where he was reunited with his mother and father.

A 19-year-old woman was arrested by police and charged with kidnapping. Her identity was not immediately available.

A press conference will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at North Charleston City Hall Training Center to present additional information in this ongoing investigation.

An AMBER Alert was issued for the child after he was snatched from a post office on Monday.

please tell me that this mother is going to be taking some parentling classes.... i am sure she loves her child, but the stupidity and lack of judgement seen here is unimaginable...

leaving your car running is stupid.. it could get stolen... leaving your car running with a BABY in it ... far surpasses stupidity...

I'm glad the baby was found. I hope the mother and others learn from this. It could have ended much worse.
