It's a shameful day when a renowned criminal defense attorney namely, J. Cheney Mason, joins a defense team and claims it will be a "fun" case. Fun to defend the murderer of an innocent two year child? Amass upon your retirement, Mr. Mason....come along inside, step inside, step inside. It's the show that never ends.

"I was looking all over for a Perry Mason. The best I could do was Cheney Mason,” Casey's lead attorney, Jose Baez, told the media after Thursday’s hearing.

Oh, aren't you the clever one, Mr. Baez? You've added another bloodsucker to your pack. Keep smirking, smiling and rubbing your greedy hands together Casey Anthony. There will be justice for Caylee.

Too many defense attorneys think of it as fun and games. They see it as a challenge to see if they can get a guilty person acquitted. They don't seem to care that they are denying justice to the victims and their families. Mason said in an interview over a year ago that Casey could either plea or have a circus trial, but either way he thought she would end up being sentenced to life. It looks like he decided it would be fun to participate in the circus trial and try to get an acquittal for a person he thought was guilty of murdering a two-year-old.

I saw his previous statement. It reminded me of (correct me if I'm wrong) Mark Geragos regarding Scott Petersen. Didn't he say bad things about Scott's guilt at the beginning too?

I watched today and what a jackass this new clown is! He comes across as a pompous ass, totally full of himself. I do not find him humorous by any means. I was, however, loving to see Bozo squirm about previous and pending deals with media. "I was advised it would be unethical" ya think? What a maroon, as the famous Bugs would say!

I noticed on this video, before you turn it on, everyone at the defense table are either smiling or laughing. I don't know what at, but I lol as soon as I started. GA & CA entered the court room, and before they got their seats warm, the baliff announced that if you have gum to throw it out. She must know CA!
