Sex Offender Arrested on Child Porn Charge

FULLERTON – A 46-year-old registered sex offender was behind bars Monday after police say they found "a huge stash" of child pornography at his home.

Vaughn Robert Biby, of Fullerton, has been charged with felony sale and distribution of child pornographic images containing obscene matter; felony possession and control of child pornography, and felony sexual exploitation of a child, according to the criminal complaint.

Biby is being held at the Men's Central Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.

Biby's convictions include lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14, continuous sexual abuse of a child, and production of child pornography.

Biby was arrested Thursday evening at his home in the 2000 block of W. Houston Ave. during a sex registrant compliance check, said Fullerton police Sgt. Andrew Goodrich.

Police searched Biby's home and found tens of thousands of photographs, DVDs, books, cameras and camcorders with what appeared to be homemade videos, Goodrich said.

Police located numerous pairs of binoculars in Biby's house and car. One pair had a built in digital still camera and video camera. He also had several library cards from different libraries in North Orange County, as well as hundreds of tokens for a local children's pizza restaurant.'
