Tapes & A Court Date

It looks like ol Ronnie has some important dates coming up: (see bolded red entry below).

Now, I don't know what 'last chance plea day" means- Does that mean it is the last day he can change his plea or the last day he can accept a plea deal? Any legal eagles out there who might help us out on that? I always thought that a defendant could change their plea at anytime up to the point where a jury has reached a verdict.

Thanks kh! I just listened to the first one, have you been through all of them?

Only some....... I am finding that if you take out the TC and Lindsey’s relationship woes' then the emotions, life issues, unrelated legal problems, and/or actions of the various family members, whether daddy Hank can find a job or if someone gets more phone minutes put on their phone or not..... there's not much meat on the bone.

There is one tape where the C's are talkin long and hard about Gma Hollers..... Let me see if I can find which one that is again.

Tape 1: Hank and Tommy JR, everything is getting ready to go down.
Sr said why didn’t you say anything before? Tommy said I don’t know.Hank SR says everybody knows Joe is crazy he should have been in an institution a long time ago.

Tommy says he wishes he could talk to Lyndsy, but she doesn’t have minutes and she can’t come see him. Tommy said they need to straighten their sh*t up, he is going to get help. Tell Misty I love her Tommy said. Tommy said they know what is going to go down, they already heard it. Asking if Mom and Pop talked to Timmy, he has no minutes either. Tommy said Lyndsy is mad as heck at Mom and Pop, she really needed the money, Hank Sr said it was an accident(losing the money) Tommy said that he called their phone and talked to the black guy that stole Hank SR’s phone.

He talked to his lawyer today and the FBI was there the other day, he didn’t talk to them, his lawyer is handling it all for him. He is not worried, he didn’t do anything wrong. Tommy is very very serious about no-one talking about the case over the phone. He is tired of being in jail, locked in the cage like a dog. Tommy says he has been doing a lot of reading in his bible. Hank SR said Misty can’t talk to no-one until he is present, Tommy said yeah I know. Tommy said he should have did this awhile ago ( told what he knows) Hank SR says….yeah you should have, Tommy: I had my reasons though. Tommy said Joe will get what he has coming to him.

Hank SR; what was it over? That fight that they all got into at my house?
Tommy: (garble) Misty done said it! I can’t say nothing, but Misty done said ti.
Hank SR: he did say that day after he left that he was going to get even with Ronald and I told him, you ain’t gonna do nothing, Joe said “Ronald is going to get what’s coming to him, Tommy interjects and says all I now is I wasn’t there when it happened, all I know Is what I seen when I stopped by the house.

HankSR: no-one knows what he did with her?
Tommy: no, I don’t all I know is that he had her.
Hank SR: What the F…man what a piece of sh.t
Tommy: he don’t know that I seen him with her, I walked up to the van, I had a knife at my neck but I seen what I seen! He will pay, he’s gonna pay. The Lord will see to it.
He is crazy man. The people up there know he is crazy, he’s been in the insane asylum, he’s got away with everything he’s ever done!

Hank SR: I love you, I hope you and Misty don’t get in trouble. Tommy: I ain’t gonna get in trouble for sh.t, I am pretty sure Misty ain’t either. Tommy: I know I wasn’t there when it happened. Lisa is in the background saying is that how the scratch got in the van?

Hank SR: I don’t know how that f’er can live with himself. Tommy said they were going to pick Joe up that night. Hank SR said….but don’t he work at night, Tommy said well that is good he will be working they can get him. Hank SR says Tommy and Misty will have to sign sworn statements before they pick Joe up, Tommy said he knows and that is okay, they promised him that they were going to pick him up though. Everything was supposed to go down at 5 pm. I love you’s exchanged. Tommy said Gramma Hollers is going to call some people on her so she needs to get her life straight. Gramma Hollers was going to call her probation officer on Lisa. Hank SR said that Grammy takes those pills and doesn’t know what she is saying, Tommy laughs and says I know. Lyndsy called in.

Haleigh Cummings update – Misty Croslin & Hank Croslin Tape 1

Yesterdays data dump from St Johns is a treasure trove, it will take days to wade through all of the information. I found the phone conversations from Tommy Croslin riveting listening.

We have just started on he video discs, and with 5 DVD’s that is a bit of a daunting task. We have rendered part of the first DVD which is a conversation between Misty Croslin and her father Hank Croslin. Using some things that are said by Hank I can date this tape as being made right before the St Johns river search. I base that conclusion on a snippet of conversation. To paraphrase the exchange:

I heard some stuff and its not good for you, your brother took a lie detector and passed

This tape is a glowing example of the family dynamics at work in this bizarre family. In the later part of the recording Hank lectures Misty about the evils of taking drugs!

He also points out that Tommy is pretty angry with Misty. Someone is telling lies, and the inference is that Tommy is pointing the finger at Misty. What is interesting is that Misty does not seem to offer any comeback.

I’ll also venture an observation, the PCSO’s red censors pen is not as evident as it has been in previous data dumps. The search for Haleigh Cummings is not covered by the Florida Sunshine laws, and yet much of this conversation concerns Haleigh.

If I was suspicious by nature I might suspect that this was an intentional move. Give the press some raw meat and let them go nuts. Another way to place pressure on the Croslin family. Of course that is just my opinion.

Haleigh Cummings – More from DVD 1

This is another jail house tape between Misty Croslin and her father Hank Croslin. Misty is claiming her innocence, and also now declaring that the ‘Cuz Joe did it’ came to her in a dream.

Hank Croslin makes the interesting observation that Ronald Cummings should never have had custody of the children in the first place.

There are also references to the now infamous Misty letter, Hank admonishes Misty for writing it in the first place.

There are also some references to Lisa Croslin and her problems. Husband Hank is not sure that it is worth her doing the community service or paying the current fines, because she is likely going to end up in jail anyway because of the new charges. “Might as well just let her do time for it all”. Oh what a loving husband.

Haleigh Cummings – Jail Tapes DVD 2

We have rendered DVD 2 and are in the process of uploading the files. This will take up a few minutes, but we wanted to bring the files to you as quickly as possible.

Once again these are conversations between Misty Croslin and her father Hank Croslin. This DVD is sight unseen, I have not had an opportunity to even watch the videos. We are running at full speed to get this information out there. To give you an idea of what we are doing, Jan and I have three computers dedicated to the process, and another person is helping us, and they have at least one computer tied up on the project.

Tommy seems sure Hank knows what he's talking about, but does he? Tommy also asks over and over and over about needing to talk to Timmy. Why? Is is just because he wants his wife back? Or does she know more than we thought she did?

Personally, I think everyone knows more than they have said...... but they are sure are jawing enough, you'd think they'd say something useful.

...Misty: he used me for a sitter, his family was tired of babysitting and that is the only reason they wanted me around. then when Haleigh came up missing that is when they wanted me to live. they want to say since i came in there has been drama.....no, Ronald made the drama, he was always shooting up in his arms and always trying to kill himself , well they need to look at him a little hard too, why was he trying to kill hisself, he did nothing but use me. But, nobody looks at him, he is sweet and innocent, he didn't do nothing wrong.
Hank SR: there is tales that he snuck out of there that night.
Misty: how come he didn't answer the phone that night I called and called and he didn't answer the phone. and then as soon as I open the door he is there. he talks like he was a dealer back i the day, talk about a black guy coming back to get Rc,
Misty" I didn't do nothing, i don't know, in my mind people keep saying this person that person......then you start to believe it and then I keep wanting to believe that it was that person, but i don't know for 100%hank: that is why u shouldn't talk without your lawyer.
Misty: there was some girls talking about it back in the cell and they were talking and saying oh that's it and it just got my head thinking and wanting to believe that was it, that is all it was. I don't know anything people put things in my head that's all. I don't know what to believe.
Hank: they will figure it out, its going to come out.
Misty: but it's not fair, I don't know anything, and I shouldn't be in here!
HankSR: the cops want to do their job.
Misty: they need to get off me move on, I been telling them, i don't have the answer, I am not the key.

Ronald put pressure on me , his family put pressure on me, I loved him but he used me. I do believe Crystal and Amber and everything they said about Rc.
Hank: Crystal is in rehab. Misty: good! I feel bad for her too.

Tape 4~ Misty talks about her and Ron talking the day before and she says she heard he was going to testify against her and he told her no he was not and he loved her.

When we heard about the supposed plea deal that Ron and his Lawyer were working on they would not say Ron was going to testify against Misty with out Ron getting in touch with her through some backdoor and letting her know he would not and he loved her.

How is it that Misty and Ron are talking??? kh
