The Manhattan mom who abducted her eight children from a foster-care facility foreshadowed the brazen snatching in a text message the day before, the Daily News has learned.
"I cannot live without my children. I cannot breathe without my children," Shanel Nadal, 28, wrote to foster mom Amieka Smith on Sunday.
The very next day, Nadal somehow managed to sneak the children - seven of whom are named Nephra - out of a supposedly supervised visit in Queens.
A manhunt is on for the kids - seven boys ages 4 to 11 and an 11-month girl named Nefertiti - who may be with their biological father, Nephra Payne, 34.
