More charges, victims possible in Penn State sex abuse case

(CNN) --" Pennsylvania's attorney general would not rule out Monday the possibility of additional charges or the discovery of more victims in the case of a former Penn State university football coach accused of sexually abusing boys between 1994 and 2009.
Speaking at a news conference, Attorney General Linda Kelly urged anyone with information about the case to come forward, particularly the unidentified boy whom a graduate assistant testified seeing having sex with former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky in 2002.
She said the alleged failure of two top Penn State university officials to report abuse claims likely perpetuated a nightmarish loop of abuse.
"Their inaction likely allowed a child predator to continue to victimize children for many, many years," Kelly said of Penn State Athletic Director Timothy Curley, 57, and Gary Schultz, 62, the university's senior vice president for finance and business.
The men, each charged with one count of perjury and one count of failure to report suspected abuse, were released Monday on $75,000 bail each after an arraignment hearing in a small courtroom packed with reporters. They appeared flanked by their attorneys, each of whom said the men were innocent of the charges and they would fight to clear their names.
Sandusky is accused of abusing eight boys and is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and numerous other charges. He was released Saturday on $100,000 bail. His attorney, Joseph Amendola, did not return a message from CNN seeking comment Monday. Amendola earlier told CNN affiliate WJAC that Sandusky has known about the allegations for three years."

Could someone explain what "involuntary deviate sexual intercourse" is? Seems to me the only ones it would have been involuntary for is the victims. This is just my opinion.

Penn State Scandal: Jerry Sandusky Rumored To Have 'Pimped' Boys To Donors: REPORT
The Huffington Post http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/10/penn-state-scandal-rumors-sandusky-pimping_n_1086099.html?ref=sports&icid=maing-grid7|main5|dl1|sec1_lnk2|111562
In the frenzied hours after the Penn State Board of Trustees announced that Joe Paterno was being relieved of his duties as football coach effective immediately, students in State College took to the streets in support of the former coach while college football analysts around the country sought to place his fall from grace in perspective.
Several hours earlier, Paterno had issued an independent statement, revealing his own intention to retire after the season. Clearly, the Board of Trustees felt Paterno needed to go sooner for his complicity in -- or, at least, his indifference toward -- the heinous sexual assaults committed by former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky.
With Paterno's career having come to a sudden, inglorious conclusion and Beaver Canyon overrun with students, some whom flipped two television news trucks, it seemed that Penn State had reached its nadir.
Perhaps not.
Shockingly, there are reports that even more depraved details about the sexual crimes committed by Sandusky will be revealed in the coming days. As the quasi-riots shook the Penn State campus late Wednesday evening and early Thursday morning, SportsByBrooks began tweeting ominous messages about allegations that have yet to become public.
I just can't believe how many people actually KNEW what was going on and did didley squat to help these young boys! It makes me want to vomit.

Re: Former PennState football official accused of sexual abuse
If this "pimping out" story turns out to be true, that means there was an entire network of pedophiles involved, and the number of victims could be in the hundreds. All this done under the noses of university officials who already knew of Sandusky's improprieties with young boys and did nothing!
A prime example of the "good ole boy" mentality of college sports....so long as the money is flowing in, anything goes. revolting and disgusting in so many ways.
