I too have very much enjoyed my time here and I also like the game room. It helps my mind to take a break from time to time.

Freckles is the name of a dog we once had when I was little. Nice black cocker spaniel.
(Her dog food was kept on the landing to the basement and every time I walked by it I had to grab a handful for munchies! I hoped someday I could bark like my dog!!! Shoot. I must have been about 4 back then. But I think it led to my appreciation of granola! Don't tell my mother, okay? )

Oh Nene, we only want the pretty parts of the body on our site, like her face, after she gets her make-over. Do you think she may be having a facelift, botox or what? I have never seen a dog with freckles either. Wonder where she comes from? My mom used to have a big Cocker Spaniel but he was solid black and he did not have freckles, atleast that we could see.
However, one of our twins karate coaches was a light skinned black man and he had freckles. Our little Dakota was 6 and she had freckles and Coach Ferguson used to tell her he was her daddy. She always wanted to take him home with her because she knew that man she lived with, and who was married to her mom was not her daddy, because she was 5 when she went to live with them and he was always so mean to her and her brother.

Just in a crazy mood sorry mama. I have alot of freckles and my grandkids love to stare at them and ask me about them. Out of 8 grandkids only one has a minor few on his face. I do have 2 red hair grandkids so they should get some once they get older.

Freckles... Yep... I have them too... So many in fact there is no place that hasn't been affected by these sprinkles of honey. I have a grand daughter who is mixed. One day when she was about three, I commented on her beautiful brown skin tone saying how lovely her color was laying my freckled arm beside hers. "See" I said "You are beautiful brown all over and I only have brown speckles". She looked at me with this stunned expression, as if I was a total idiot, and said to me... "You can have skin like mine. All you have to do is ask Jesus".

Yes she was pretty smart.. then she grew up.. Now she has a little smarty just starting to talk. Can't wait to hear what sort of wisdom she will spout. Off to spend the weekend with her.
She was always throwing us major curves when she was tiny. My Aunt Bonnie was dying from cancer. I had brought her home for her last days. My daughter came and brought the kids, Danee was almost 3 and her baby sister was 11 mo. After a while we notice Danee was no longer in the kitchen with us and when I went to find her she had pulled a dining room chair up to the side of my aunts hospital bed. There she sat on the chair holding Aunt Bonnie's hand and stroking the top of her hand with her tiny little hand.. just comforting Aunt Bonnie.
We are not a particularly religious family.. don't attend church. Where this child learned abut Jesus and what Jesus has abilities to do is beyond me.. and how that little girl knew to comfort my aunt still boggles my mind.

Pssst! I used to have freckles when I was younger. Both my brother and I did but he looked like Alfred E Neuman from Mad magazine. Thankfully, my ears and teeth did not! (I looked like Alfalfa with that sprig of hair off the crown. Better than Dumbo ears. Jeesh...) lol My grandma loved my father; she had huge red freckles befitting her red hair. I figured Dad got his freckles when Grandma hugged him too much. I did not like her to hug me too much because I was afraid her freckles would jump on me!!! (Oh, Grandma. How I wish I could collect more freckles from you today!!!)
My freckles were lightly tossed and faded with age.

Can't wait for her little girl to start talking.
I just know she is gonna have some real
treasures for me to save.
I was supposed to have left already to go spend
the weekend, BUT.. a breaker went bad and of
course it had to be the circuit that my refrigerator
is on.. 100 degree temps.. not good.. so off I went
to town to buy a replacement and then came home
and put it in. Amazing that I am still here to tell ya
about it. It really wasn't that big of deal, but it is
kinda scary when you remove the face plate of the
breaker box and see all of those wires in there...
And then removing the damaged breaker and taking
the wires loose ... YIKES.. screw driver and electrical
wires probably aren't the best two things to be messing
with when you are an unqualified 65 year old woman.
Crap the thermometer is reading 112 degrees here now..
I may wait a while longer to make my trip to my daughter's
house....

Hey Ecossie Posse-- are you around?
I thought of you and your UK Irish neighbors yesterday when I was making homemade Guinness beer batter for my famous onion rings, to accompany a huge pile of freshly caught lake fish fillets that were waiting to take their turn in the deep fryer!
(No Guinness for the fish, though....too strongly flavored. Shorelunch all the way!) But the cook managed to put away some Guinness....
So, I'm sending you a big yummy virtual plate of UK inspired, American fish & chips! Complete with malt vinegar!
No haggis, though.

Bumping!
In case some of the former Hinky members have not seen this, I am bumping it.
As J4A indicated, Val set up a temporary Wordpress blog and wrote a really nice article.
If you get a chance, you might want to drop by and let Val know
you are thinking of her. I am sure she would love to hear from you and she would appreciate it.

The Hinky Meter (Wordpress) - by Valhall -- 7/6/12
Kind of back and kind of not
by Valhall
There are some former Hinksters that have commented there and it was so nice to see their nics again!
Some one was asking about Six of One some time ago. She left a comment and I was so excited to see that Six is still "out there!" As many of you may remember, she (along with others) did an awesome job of doing screen shots during the Casey Anthony trial.
J4A, thank you for providing the Link when you became aware that Val set up the Wordpress site. It really says a lot about you that you so kindly alerted us that Val set up the site.
I know that RC (you and Fysty Angel) have supported the now former The Hinky Meter by Valhall for a very long time as evidenced by having it on the Blog Roll of the RC Homepage and the Blog Roll articles. Also, you allowed RC members to Link to Val's articles here.
J4A, I respect and admire people that have class! Thank you for being the wonderful person that you are!

Sorry I don't know where to ask this...
On THM there was a discussion on a Minister that was murdered in her Church. There were some very disturbing things that were done to this woman, I believe that she had been posed and naked when found. Can anyone tell me her name as I would like to find out what happened with this case, but old age has left me blank about more details of the case. Thank you

LOL My little ears are burning!
Hello, one and all. I meant to come by and say hi much sooner than today. Since the Anthony verdict last year, it's not been easy to get back in the swing of things. I was all set to go this summer with the Christian/Newsom retrials and the Hinky, but then both situations changed.
But I did find y'all with Google (and no, I do NOT search for myself hahaha). Justice4all and FystyAngel have truly laid out the red carpet and provided a feast for the prodigals. Ann-TX is so diligent and thorough at everything, not least of which is the task of making sure no one gets lost lol
I was happy to see that Valhall is back--the WordPress blog--and that she sounds so great. :)
Otherwise, I'm getting back into frighteningly fab photo and film fettle. ;) The two things that got me fired up and back online were Baez's new book and the anniversary of the Anthony verdict. I am also teaching myself Photoshop--watch out, world! lol
Anyway, it's great to see all of you--familiar faces and new ones.
See you in the Anthony threads?
Best to all,
Six

Otherwise, I'm getting back into frighteningly fab photo and film fettle. ;) The two things that got me fired up and back online were Baez's new book and the anniversary of the Anthony verdict. I am also teaching myself Photoshop--watch out, world! lol
Anyway, it's great to see all of you--familiar faces and new ones.
See you in the Anthony threads?
Best to all,
Six

Welcome to RC, Six! I have missed you and so have other former Hinksters! Glad you found us.Six of One wrote:LOL My little ears are burning!
Hello, one and all. I meant to come by and say hi much sooner than today. Since the Anthony verdict last year, it's not been easy to get back in the swing of things. I was all set to go this summer with the Christian/Newsom retrials and the Hinky, but then both situations changed.

I was so happy when I saw your nic on Val's site (Wordpress). It just blew me away, Six! I have wondered many times what happened to you.
Yes, J4A and FystyAngel rolled out the red carpet and welcomed all of the new members! J4A has worked very hard, in spite of working a full time job and spending time with his wife and children, to try to make this site even more "user friendly" and to accommodate some of the requests by the new members.
I am now done with the skank Anthony and will rarely waste my time to click on a thread involving Anthony. However, I saw that you left a comment so I clicked on. Loved the video you posted. LMAO!
If any one wants to view the video that Six posted on an Anthony thread:

The only interest I have is the TES lawsuit. I am interested in that civil case. But as far as where CA is, what she looks like, how much weight she gained, what she is doing, etc., I could not care less or give a rat's a$$. lol
I have missed your screen shots, especially the ones with captions. Maybe you can do some here at RC! So you are learning Photoshop! That should be interesting and fun!
Glad to have you on board, Six! You have been missed! For you:

You are welcome. I did a little bit of searching and it looks like the case is still unsolved.justanopinion wrote:Justice4all wrote:I did a quick search and I think the name you are looking for is Carol Daniels.

This case has so many things that are unusual that at the time I was certain they would find the person responsible. It appeared to be so organized, with burning her hair, the cuts that were made, the liquid poured around the body to dissolve evidence, that they took her clothing, everything seemed to point to a very specific "style". Also that this was a small community where the Police station was a block away, Video of her arriving at the Church. I was certain that this could not have been a "first" and that there would be similar cases elsewhere. And yes I took a good look around as well and it is still unsolved, so sad as all reports seem to say she was a caring and loving person. She deserved Justice!

Hi Jersey and Six, I am so glad to see you both here. I posted over on Hinky, but not too much. I have a bigger mouth over here. We have all been made to feel very welcome and I am sure you will enjoy it. It's just like a family reunion. I am great aunt Hilda's second cousin twice removed on your Step-father's side.
