Yup. If there had been a better investigation, maybe we'd know what happened that night but there wasn't and we don't. I couldn't convict on anything based on what the state showed. I am still on the fence as to whether he's guilty or not.

I think he is hitting on the important points, but I wish his delivery was better. I don't know why, I just wish it was a little more organized or less editorial

Meh. I like him better than the other guy who did the State's closing. I think he's doing well. He isn't a great speaker though but he's doing well imo.

I don't think so, he gets too excited. It's just for some reason, he stammers through some of this stuff. It's just not sitting well. The facts are there, just the delivery that bothers me.

I think he's getting a bit better. Still not that great of a speaker but I think he's making a good case.

This should be just a rehash tomorrow morning. the prosecution gets another 45 minutes or so and then jury instructions. So, how long will the jury be out? I think not too long.

Yes, CB the defense is done and prosecution will go about 45 min. or so tomorrow then jury instructions, then we wait.

I am just thinking if I was on the jury the P has not proven the basic tenents of the charge.

According to the P themselves they need to prove 3 things.

1. Lina is dead

2. was caused by husband (didnt prove this one)

can't remember what three was something about depraved action

anyway they never proved he did it. They talked about him squeezing the life out of her, but he is not even charged with strangulation.

Not quilty ONLY because of botched investigation.I have believed Adam is guilty ever since I heard about the deep tissue damage in the neck.

tess, I went to the movie this afternoon & missed everything, did the Defense conclude their closing argument? I have a dental apt. tomorrow @ 10:30, I hope they conclude by that time.

Did the defense do a good job? Did the STATE pull it together for their closing?

I agree, I don't think the jury is going to be out too long on this case.

The State did alright and the defense did about the same. Kinda disappointed... I expected more from the defense but IMO they both did about the same. I do want to say though that the state IMO still didn't prove their case but you just never know with a jury.

suz1729, I agree, NOT guilty, I don't know if Adam is guilty or not, but imo, the State didn't prove it. I agree too, the botched investigation is a real problem, it puts everything in a bad light. Too, imo, the State was weak in their delivery & presentation of information, they didn't help themselves, they were a little rough around the edges imo.

I am disappointed to hear the Defense didn't do so well, I expected a passionate closing pointing out all the faults in the State's case. I agree, the State didn't prove their case but after KC's verdict, I can't imagine what the jury is going to do in this case.

Well the def. did point out all the mistakes and stuff but he just wasn't passionate and a little boring. Maybe he should have let Milain do the closings instead. I just felt it was a bit dry and could have got lost on the jury very easily. I could be wrong though. I'm sure others thought they did good.

imo defense did a jury consult n found the jury would be more swayed by the tall dude.... milian might come off as a bully to jurors?

is it true the defense wanted to split the close = the 1.5 hours between the 2? the tall one n milan? n the judge said NO?

If the judge said NO = i will state that i have seen many trials that the defense broke it up into 2 diff peeps....including the kc case...

The state began closing arguments shortly after 3 p.m. Monday. The defense will be given the courtroom floor beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Um, the defense already gave their closing arguments this afternoon/

The prosecution will give their rebuttal and then the judge will give the jurors their instructions.

Then the jury will deliberate.

He pointed out "mistakes"........no investigation is perfect, ever.

He just kept saying the same thing over and over and over.

If I was a juror, I would say, enough already, I heard it ........

I was not impressed at all.

The prosecution made some really good points, like the expert the defense put on, and demonstrated how her neck fell on the magazine rack and left the imprint on her neck...only problem was, the magazine rack was positioned in a different position than the doc showed the jury.

The doc demonstrated that the handle of the rack was left to right, while in reality, as shown on the pic's, the handle really was from the front of the basket the back of the bathroom wall, when the LE made the pic's after they arrived there.

Also IF her head had fallen down like that, it would have hit the wall, hard...and what ever bruising accrued in her neck would have looked different.

Oh and in the jail conversation between adam and his brother, one of them said something like: we did not leave the magazine rack how we liked it to be, something like that.

Now why is that?

They also talked about the tanning, and the effect it might have 12 hours later.

And at one point Adam referred to himself as "Roy".

Why would he do that?
