Casey Anthony: Is CNN Chat a Preview of Coming Attractions?


Casey Anthony's conversation with CNN'sPiers Morgan seemed like a movie trailer. After all, the chat lasted just 10 minutes, and Morgan relayed Anthony's comments.

The real thing will be Anthony sitting for an interview. Attorney Cheney Mason floated the idea something bigger is coming. "We are sitting back watching," he told Morgan. "When the time comes she will have her story to tell."

CNN stressed that it did not compensate Anthony in any way for the interview.

The highlights?

Anthony's greatest regret: "Not being honest," she told Morgan. "I didn't trust law enforcement because of my relationship with my father, who is ex-law enforcement, and so they didn't trust me."

Had she stopped at "not being honest", then I perhaps (maybe... just maybe...) could force myself to give her a tiny bit of respect. As it is, it is clear she is still the same manipulative Casey, still dishonest, still playing the poor, pitiful victim.

Exactly!! She didn't trust law enforcement because of her big mean daddy but she sure did date alot of them! So she'll date someone she doesn't trust, but when her daughter has an accident in the family pool she doesn't call 911? Sorry KC, it still doesn't make sense, no matter how you try to spin it, you are a liar and there are no excuses for what you did!!

Didn't know where to put this, but her and Manson are looking for book deal. It saids she has been keeping a journal since Caylee was found and the book will be from her journal.

It also states that it is the only way to get her story out and after all she needs money to live and pay her attorney. Yes, it does say she needs to pay attorney. I would guess that would be Manson because Baez was paid by the courts. So I guess he really wasn't working pro bono.

snowbird, Baez recieved NO payment from the Courts because KC was indigent, he couldn't recieve ANY monies for his work because he was hired as a "private attorney" by KC & remained on the case until the end. Baez got paid $ 89,000.00 from the ABC monies, & BECAUSE Baez wanted to be paid after KC was indigent & he was denied, Fla. changed their law that a "Private Paid Attorney" can't quit or recieve monies after a client is indigent. The expert's, etc. got paid because KC was indigent. KC got a deal out of Baez, $ 89,000.00 to walk on a murder charge, lost 2 houses to foreclosure due to no income for years of work on KC's case, & couldn't even sell but a few interviews. Some unknown publisher is printing Baez's book, it remains to be seen if many even sell.

imo, it's a blatant LIE that KC ever kept a journal until possibly she was arrested, BOY, would Baez have had a field day using it to SUPPORT the lies he was telling. I too am suprised Baez didn't have KC manufacture a diary then. Other's associated w/the case may only deny knowledge of the diary so they don't tell a blatant lie to the Media that may be proven to be yet another LIE.

imo, KC has bigger problems than needing an attorney. She owes the IRS, they have a Judgement as does the State of Fla. I asume Mason thinks he is first in line to get monies, but he may be richly surprised. It seems Mason has probably made millions in his long & sometimes miserable career, Sorano was wealthy & sits on death row, the greed of those connected to KC make me sick, Baez, Mason, I'm sure Lizabeth wants to get paid as she does all the work out of Mason's office on the appeal & perhaps KC's Civil Attorney's may jump on the band wagon, the beauty of it is that ALL the monies made by KC will be shared in depositions by those suing her, they have a right to know how much money KC has or will have.

CNN is reporting the lowest ratings in over 20 years, I will be suprised if they can survive in the market for another couple of years without major re-formatting of their programing. Pier's Morgan had an audience of 39,000 & Anderson Cooper, "called the face of CNN" has lost over 1/2 of his audience since the beginning of the year. (Probably because he is associated w/CNN) After Ashton's movie, & the few buying Baez's book, I can't imagine that anybody is going to believe in anything Mason/KC manufacture to sell for profit to the lowest rated news program to boost their ratings. imo.

Thanks for reminding me because I had thought that Baez had gotten paid. I had forgotten about them changing the Law. There is so much to remember about this case because they were always out there with their mouths open to all the press.

There will be very few people that want to here from Casey Anthony she is a liar and will always be. IMO

snowbird, due to the link of time this case has drug out, the never ending bullchit promoted by many participants still, I too forget alot about the cast of characters & their contribution, or lack of. One thing has sadly remained constant, there is a never ending line of people that want to profit from KC murdering Caylee. imo, Ashton told the fight the Prosecutor's had to stand up for Caylee.

I am so grateful CA/GA have dropped out of site, at least for awhile. I have even forgotten what Cindy called Blogger's, something like maggots but I can't remember. LOL!

I think that is what she called blogger's and we had nothing else to do. Yep blogger's just love for little children to go missing or die so we can sit here all day talking about them. That frame of mind is sick to me. She was on TV asking for help to find Caylee because her daughter would not talk. Don't get me wrong I would have done the same thing, but then I would not have gone on TV and talk about how Casey was a good mom. What good mother won't say where to find her child. Of course I remember the smell being pizza in the car. Yea right. She wanted people involved then got pissed off when they sort Justice for poor Caylee.

Just heard that Casey is writing a book based on a journel she has been keeping. She will never stop trying to make money from murdering her daughter.

Hope the book sits on the shelves for ever. I doubt that a publisher will extend any money to her. Who cares what she has been doing since those 12 found her "not guilty".

I think she came out with this so called interview and writing a good, because of the Life Time Movie is being made from Jeff Ashton' book. You know she got to be very happy about him telling it like it really happen.
She is so pi**ed nobody wants to her from her and believe in her lies.
