Calling his actions "outrageous," "heinous," "disgusting" and "egregious," the attorney representing two young Washington girls followed through on her promise Wednesday to file a civil lawsuit against Steven Powell.

Seattle-based attorney Anne Bremner filed a lawsuit against Powell on behalf of two of his former neighbors, then ages 8 and 10, whom Powell videotaped from his own home through an open door while they were in their bathroom. In the digital images taken from the recordings, the girls were nude or partially nude.

By filing a civil suit, Bremner said she is now able to request police records regarding the search of Powell's home on behalf of both the young girls and Chuck and Judy Cox, the parents of Susan Cox Powell who has been missing from Utah for 2 1/2 years and is presumed dead. Bremner also represents the Coxes.

Ann Bremner expects the case to take 18 months. The only assets SP has at this time are his home & his vehicle he listed as worth $ 4,000.00 & his home being worth $ 250,000.00.

BUT! Josh's insurance policy for one million & Braden & Charlie's insurance worth $ 500,000.00 are at issue. The Coxes have successfully tied up the payout for now & the Insurance Company has a lot of questions too like "Josh's sanity" when he made some changes to the insurance policies in December 2011, only months before he premeditated the murder's of the boy's.

Josh left Michael, his brother approx 80% of the payout, Alina gets a smaller portion, maybe 10 % & Steven was to get 7 or 8 % of the total payout. I can't remember the exact breakdown but this is tied up in litigation by the Coxes. imo, its unfair that Josh premediates the murders of Charlie & Braden & their portion for their murder is $ 500,000.00, this is outrageous to me that he wanted his family to profit from the murders he committed. It should be illegal. Ann Bremner is making sure IF the payout does go to the Powell family, Steven never sees a dime of his portion. Hopefully, the Courts decide the changes Josh made were illegal.

The expenses of the girl's are going to add up. Therapy ain't cheap, their lives have been altered forever. Dr. Phil says: "it changes who they are."

Steven P is a real POS imo, hopefully this is another pain in his butt daily, he is going to have to be deposed, he is going to HAVE TO answer Bremner's questions for this case, at least she can humiliate the chit out of him. & he can't refuse to answer She'll do the MEDIA blitz sharing repulsive information on what a disgusting pervert SP is. He is never going to have peace nor does he deserve any.

It's easy to see the similarities Josh & his father shared. imo, SP knows where Susan is. But Steven, like Josh, is going to inflict the maximum amount of pain he can to the Coxes, he'll take it to the grave. Just like Josh couldn't allow the Coxes any peace, he chose to murder Susan's children after attacking them with an axe, to inflict their worst nightmare & pain. He could have just killed himself BUT he wanted to hurt the Coxes as his final act on earth, he suceeded.
