This question is pretty amusing.


I started to ask why court recessed so early and then I realized that Daylight Savings time just started for most states. I live in Arizona and we do not recognize Daylight Savings time so keeping track of the rest of the country's time zones gets confusing at times.

FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) -- A valet manager at a Boston hotel testified Tuesday at Aaron Hernandez's murder trial that the then-New England Patriots star tight end had what he believed to be a gun stuffed in his waistband two nights before the killing.

Samson Michael testified that he was an account manager for the valet service at the W Hotel in Boston in June 2013. He said he saw Hernandez outside the hotel at around 1:30 am. on June 15, two days before Odin Lloyd was shot to death at an industrial park near Hernandez's home. Lloyd had been dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee.

Lloyd was with Hernandez and another man that night, according to testimony Monday by a woman who baby-sat for Hernandez's daughter and ran into him at the W Hotel.

In Tuesday's testimony, Michael testified that Hernandez had left a black SUV at the W's valet service and had come back to get something. Michael testified he saw Hernandez standing at the open driver's-side door. He said he is not a football fan and at the time didn't know who Hernandez was.

''I just noticed a gentleman with his shirt up to his chest and what looks to be a gun inside his waistband,'' Michael told jurors.

When asked to describe it by prosecutor William McCauley, Michael said it was a ''black object, what looks like a gun. I could see about half of it. Mostly the handle.''

He said he saw the square handle on what looked like a semiautomatic weapon for about three seconds from the sidewalk as he looked through the passenger-side window.

FALL RIVER, Mass. – Prosecutors in the murder trial of former NFL star Aaron Hernandez have shown jurors a text message he sent his fiancee directing her to a box in their basement as he sat at a police station for questioning.

On Tuesday, prosecutors displayed a text message Hernandez sent to Jenkins shortly after midnight June 18.

He says the box is behind the screen in their movie room and their infant daughter likes to play with it.

It was kind of funny. A little levity at the Hernandez trial. :)

Time zones can certainly get a little confusing with some states changing their clocks at different times of the year.

The judge that is presiding over the Aaron Hernandez trial is running a tight ship, everything has to be done according to the court schedule. Breaks are taken exactly at the same time every day, and she won't allow testimony to continue after 4:00 PM EST when there is a full court day. To say that there is stark difference between Judge Susan Garsh and Judge Sherry Stephen is an understatement. :)

That IS definitely a gun! The link to the larger vine video makes it very clear. AH thought he was being pretty smooth passing the gun to his other hand so that the women in the living room would not see it. Lucky for him, he seems to have gotten his moneys worth on that new home security system. It doesn't miss much. LOL.

I certainly think he is up to his eyeballs in this, but I still wonder why he would do this. Odin was dating his fiancée's sister. Amazing the amount of people that have the world by the tail and throw it all away. I just don't get it. He certainly seemed to be hooked on pot to a large degree and makes you wonder if he was smoking that heavily during the football season. When he was in college at Univ. Florida, he was a favorite target of Tebow's. I think Tebow tried to be a positive influence on him but Aaron was too deep in the party/thug/gang type lifestyle.

WOW....that was ABSOLUTELY a gun in his hands in the video.

Well, first of all, I don't think the video was all that grainy. I think if it looks like a gun, holds like a gun, etc. If the judge rules against this mans testimony, the jury will see the video for what it is. I guess the defense can only hope that someone sees a remote control.

Judge overrules objection. Glock specialist may testify. She has also not precluded defense to bring up other 45's if they so desire during their case.
