I am just guessing here... IMO, AB may have felt completely owned, scared to death, with the actions of his "friend..." Where does AB go for street address of his grievances? He can't. He is probably terrified of what AH may/will do to him if he goes to the PD. After all AH is the darling boy.... and AB has nothing to offer.

IMO, AB decided at that time to appear compliant, obedient and keep AH close to him so as to imply complete subservience to AH.

When AB realized he was going to live his life in fear of AH, and then when the trial kicked up a bit, AB may have felt he had a chance at being heard... and that is when he came forward. The darling boy had fallen out of favor and MAYBE there was now room for the truth???

@Freckles,
I think that there may be a whole lot of truth to the possibilities you have suggested...at least prior to AH shooting AB.  I have no doubt that after seeing AH gun down two men over a spilled drink that AB was probably terrified of what might happen if he crossed AH. I can even understand AB's choice to refuse to identify AH as the one that had shot him.  AB was probably even more terrified of AH immediately following almost being killed by him.  It is AB's actions over the next few months after being shot that concern me.  He did not identify AH as having shot him nor did he go into any form of hiding because he feared AH as far as I know.  Instead, AB chose to file a civil suit against AH for money.  This suit was originally filed on June 13, 2013 which was 4 days before AH shot and killed Odin Lloyd.  So, if AB had identified AH as the shooter in a criminal complaint, instead of a civil suit, then AH would have been arrested before he could kill again.  This is why I question AB's motive/choice of how he handled the situation after he was shot in the face.

Lawsuit alleges Aaron Hernandez shot man in Florida

...NFL.com obtained a copy of the complaint filed June 13 in a federal court in South Florida. The complaint alleges that, on Feb. 13, Hernandez and Alexander S. Bradley got in an argument while at Tootsie's Cabaret, a strip club in Miami-Dade County. The complaint said that later, while driving toward Palm Beach County, a gun in Hernandez's possession discharged, hitting Bradley...

...NFL.com also obtained an offense report from the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office that appears to be related to the day in question. That day, shortly after 6:45 a.m., a man identified by deputies as Bradley Alexander Sherrod, 30, of Hartford, Conn., was found on the ground close to a John Deere landscaping business near Riviera Beach...

...He appeared to be shot in the head and the hand, the report stated. The man repeatedly said at the time he did not know who shot him, the report said, but the wounds were not self-inflicted.

The man wasn't cooperative, and told one investigator he didn't want the case to go any further.

"I explained that without his cooperation, the investigation would cease," one deputy wrote. "He understood."

The case is inactive, according to the report...

Watched again , "A Few Good Men," earlier this afternoon.
Toward the end of the movie, one of the two men on trial asked, "What did we do wrong?"
He was trying to understand why an dishonorable discharge when he had faithfully obeyed his superiors' orders. The answer the other Marine gave was something like , " We had a duty to protect those who can't protect themselves..."

AB had a duty to others.
Even tho he may have placed himself at risk, the duty was greater.
I agree.
Odin would not have died at that time or place.
AB had acted only in his own self interest by not reporting truthfully the incident.
He acted cowardly.
I can understand his actions and hindsight offers a lot of correction to actions.

Despite the fact he's already been on suicide watch AND involved in a prison fight, convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez says he's "doing well" in prison ... and gets tons of fan mail.

TMZ Sports obtained a hand-written letter the ex-NFL star sent to a female pen pal ... in which he starts off by apologizing for the delayed response...

...The woman who wrote the letter says she hinted that she wanted to visit Hernandez behind bars ... to which Aaron responded, "You should have asked, I would have accepted, but don't regret it, everything happens for a reason ;) lol"

Judge to Hear Request to Unseal Hernandez Documents

Hernandez lawyer James Sultan last week filed papers under seal requesting an inquiry into the juror's "exposure to significant extraneous matter"

A judge will hear a newspaper company’s request to unseal documents relating to a juror in former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez's recent murder trial in Massachusetts Friday.

Newspaper company GateHouse Media, the company which publishes Fall River's The Herald News, the Taunton Daily Gazette and Quincy's The Patriot Ledger, says information about the unidentified juror must be made public.

Hernandez lawyer James Sultan last week filed papers under seal requesting an inquiry into the juror's "exposure to significant extraneous matter." A hearing is set for next week.

New York-based GateHouse Media Inc. said Friday the public has a right to review post-verdict proceedings, including information about a juror possibly exposed to information outside the courtroom.

Aaron Hernandez wants his murder conviction reduced, prosecutors push back

By  Brian Steele | bsteele@masslive.com
on June 12, 2015 at 11:11 AM, updated June 12, 2015 at 11:15 AM

FALL RIVER – Prosecutors are asking a Superior Court judge not to reduce Aaron Hernandez's murder conviction to a lesser offense, calling the former New England Patriots tight end's request "tortured legal gymnastics."

A motion filed Thursday by Bristol County Assistant District Attorney William McCauley claims that Hernandez's legal team "misstates or omits key evidence, misstates the governing legal standards," draws shaky conclusions about the guilty verdicts and, overall, fails to make his case that the evidence requires a different outcome.

The defense also wants two firearms convictions voided entirely.

McCauley's filing argues that Hernandez bears the "considerable" burden of proving that no reasonable jury could have convicted him of shooting and killing 27-year-old Odin Lloyd in North Attleborough in 2013. He was given a mandatory life sentence, which, under Massachusetts law, triggers an automatic appeal.

Aaron Hernandez’s lawyer says juror in Odin Lloyd murder trial may have been ‘untruthful’ during selection

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS / Tuesday, June 16, 2015, 7:37 AM

FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) — A lawyer for Aaron Hernandez has told a judge he’s concerned one of the jurors who convicted the former New England Patriots star tight end of murder may have been “untruthful” during jury selection.

In redacted court documents released Monday, lawyer James Sultan says an anonymous tipster first called him April 16, a day after the 12-person jury convicted Hernandez of first-degree murder in the 2013 killing of Odin Lloyd in North Attleborough. Hernandez was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

The name of the juror and the caller is redacted throughout the documents, as are details of what the caller said and what was said during the jury selection process before the trial.

I don't care what hang=nails AH is complaining about!
The jury has spoken.
Arguments are OVER.
Stop trying to pander the sentencing down as if what he DID is petty...
He premeditated a murder and carried it out, he attempted covering up the murder.
He BROADCAST with PRIDE his sentencing by getting those hideous tats on his neck...

Enough is enough.
Let him be a man now and take that which he EARNED.

Remembering Odin Lloyd, two years after he was killed by Aaron Hernandez

New England Patriots Aaron Hernandez arrested on murder charge - Trial set to begin January 9, 2015 #4 X3509

Two years ago Wednesday, someone killed 27-year-old Odin Lloyd. Two months ago, a jury decided that former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez committed the crime.

With attacks on the verdict pending — including a claim that a juror lied during jury selection regarding her lack of knowledge about other alleged murders committed by Hernandez — the mother of Odin Lloyd returned to the scene of the crime in an effort to set her son’s spirit free.

Via the North Attleboro Sun Chronicle, Ursula Ward gathered with family and friends to remember Lloyd and to send dozens of purple balloons into the sky.

Judge blocks contact with juror in Aaron Hernandez murder case

AP
June 22, 2015

BOSTON   —  A judge is barring both sides of the completed Aaron Hernandez murder case from contacting one of the jurors who convicted the former New England Patriots star tight end of a 2013 killing.

The order follows concerns from a Hernandez lawyer that the juror might have been ''untruthful'' during jury selection. Lawyer James Sultan said in earlier court records he received an anonymous tip that the juror had been present for a discussion about a separate Boston double-murder case Hernandez is also charged in.

Sultan said the defense would have asked that the juror be excused if it had known.

The judge's order prohibits all direct or indirect contact with the juror.

FALL RIVER — Aaron Hernandez’s two alleged accomplices in Odin Lloyd’s murder are scheduled to appear Friday for pretrial hearings in Superior Court.
Ernest Wallace and Carlos Ortiz are both charged with murder and as accessories after the fact. Both have been in custody since their arrests in June 2013.

Wallace has a status review conference, while Ortiz’s attorney, John Connors, is expected to argue that Ortiz’s statements to police after his arrest in Connecticut should be suppressed. According to court documents, Ortiz spoke with detectives without a lawyer present and said that Hernandez and Wallace were outside their vehicle in the North Attleborough Industrial Park when Lloyd was shot to death just before 3:30 a.m. on June 17, 2013.

Attorney for co-defendant of ex-NLF star Aaron Hernandez says police were coercive

Published June 26, 2015  ·  Associated Press

FALL RIVER, Mass. –  An attorney for a man who was charged with murder along with ex-NFL player Aaron Hernandez argued Friday that police coerced him to answer questions in the investigation and the information should not be allowed into evidence.

Defense attorney John Connors said at a hearing on a motion to suppress that police acted improperly when they questioned Carlos Ortiz about the June 2013 shooting death of Odin Lloyd. Police misstated the Miranda warning and used coercive tactics, suggesting Ortiz was being used by Hernandez, the defense said.

"We believe he did ask for an attorney and that was not followed up on," Connors said. "We believe the tactics were coercive. We believe it was not a voluntary waiver. We believe he was coerced into taking a lie detector test. Pretty much on every possible way they were wrong."

Trooper: Ortiz said Hernandez threatened him; attorney says police coerced testimony

Aaron Hernandez allegedly made a veiled threat to his associate Carlos Ortiz, warning that he could get to Ortiz through his children, a Massachusetts State Police trooper testified Friday.

FALL RIVER — Aaron Hernandez allegedly made a veiled threat to his associate Carlos Ortiz, warning that he could get to Ortiz through his children, a Massachusetts State Police trooper testified Friday.

The trooper, Sgt. John Moran, said Ortiz made that statement when he was interviewed two years ago in Bristol, Connecticut, by detectives who were investigating the June 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd.

According to court documents, Ortiz made other statements, including a claim that he saw Hernandez carrying a handgun on the night of Lloyd’s murder, that his attorney, John J. Connors, is trying to have suppressed. Connors said police coerced Ortiz into making statements and submitting to a polygraph test, and that they did not properly follow up on Ortiz’s request for an attorney.

@Freckles:

It was originally claimed by the prosecution that there was not enough DNA on the white towel to be tested or compare to other samples, but during the cross examination of the prosecution witness who analyzed the crime scene DNA samples, the witness admitted there was enough DNA but it was never tested.

There is enough circumstantial evidence to assume the white towel was the one Ortiz was seen wearing around his neck on the night of the murder.

A DNA sample for Ernest Wallace was never submitted for analysis.

Judge rejects Aaron Hernandez move to toss murder conviction

A Massachusetts judge who oversaw the trial of former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez has rejected a request to throw out his first-degree murder conviction or reduce it to second-degree murder.

Still pending is a separate request from Hernandez's lawyers to investigate an anonymous tip that a juror in the case might have been untruthful during jury selection

Aaron Hernandez’s lawyers can attempt to ID jury tipster

Saturday, July 4, 2015

By: Owen Boss

Lawyers for former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez can move forward in their attempt to identify a tipster who claimed one of the jurors who convicted Hernandez of first-degree murder may have known about an unrelated double-murder he also is accused of committing, a judge ruled yesterday.

Bristol County Superior Court Judge E. Susan Garsh has given Hernandez’s lawyers the green light to subpoena Verizon in the hopes of identifying the anonymous tipster who called attorney James Sultan from a blocked number in April — after Hernandez was convicted in the 2013 killing of Odin L. Lloyd — and told him the unidentified juror was present for a discussion about a 2012 Boston double-murder in which Hernandez faces charges.

Although the subpoena has been allowed, Garsh stressed in her ruling that she has not yet agreed to a post-verdict inquiry of the juror.

Hernandez judge: Verizon can be subpoenaed to ID tipster

The tipster claims a juror may have lied during jury selection and overheard information about the double-murder case.

The Associated Press
July 4, 2015

FALL RIVER, Mass. — Lawyers for former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez can take steps to identify an anonymous tipster who claimed that one of the jurors who convicted him of murder may have lied during jury selection, a judge ruled Friday.

~Snipped~

Prosecutors objected to the subpoena, arguing that in order to get a judge to question a juror after a verdict is returned, a defendant must show that an “extrinsic influence” may have affected the juror’s impartiality.

Garsh, however, said she has not agreed at this point to a post-verdict inquiry of the juror, but only for a subpoena so Hernandez’s lawyers can determine the identity of the tipster.

Sultan and a spokesman for prosecutors did not immediately return calls seeking comment Friday.

Prosecutors spent $462,000 on Aaron Hernandez prosecution

Associated Press  3 hours ago

FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) — The investigation and murder trial of former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez cost prosecutors nearly half a million dollars, a spokesman said Friday.

...The Bristol County district attorney's office spent $360,462.30 on overtime for state police and $101,834.64 for expenses such as experts and travel, for a total of just over $462,000, spokesman Gregg Miliote said.

The tally does not include what the office spent for salaried employees who worked on the prosecution. The trial lasted more than three months, including jury selection and deliberations, and three prosecutors and several other staffers were in court for the duration.

True, but, IIRC, the prosecution total was much lower in the Arias trial than the total for the Hernandez trial. JA used a publically funded defense team and that is where all the big money went.

Aaron Hernandez's fiancee asks court to change her surname

The Associated PressAP Aug 3rd 2015 10:00PM

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — The fiancee of imprisoned ex-New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has petitioned a Rhode Island court to add the surname Hernandez to her name, matching their daughter's name.

The Providence Journal says Shayanna Jenkins wore a gold wedding band along with a gold-and-diamond engagement ring on her left hand.

The newspaper says Jenkins appeared Monday in North Providence Probate Court seeking to change her surname to Jenkins-Hernandez. Jenkins lives in North Providence.

A judge says the daughter's name is Avielle Jenkins-Hernandez. The judge says she needs more information before granting Jenkins' request.

Hernandez grew up in Bristol, Connecticut. He's serving a life sentence in Massachusetts for the 2013 killing of Odin (OH'-dihn) Lloyd, who was dating Jenkins' sister.

A prisons spokesman tells The Associated Press there's no record Hernandez has gotten married or requested to get married.

Aaron Hernandez's lawyers ask to suppress evidence in double slaying

Associated Press

BOSTON -- Lawyers for former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez are asking a judge to toss out evidence seized from an SUV that authorities say Hernandez was in when he fatally shot two men over a spilled drink.

Prosecutors say Hernandez killed Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado in 2012 after a chance encounter at a Boston nightclub. They say Hernandez followed the men in a Toyota 4Runner, pulled up to their car at a light and opened fire.

Hernandez's lawyers argue that evidence seized from the vehicle should be tossed because a man whose statements police relied on to get a search warrant failed a lie-detector test.

Hernandez was convicted in April in the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of his fiancée. He faces trial in December in the double-murder case.

Sheriff: Aaron Hernandez had explicit relationship with tipster, not with juror

By Eric Edholm

Convicted murder and former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez had a “sexually explicit relationship” with an anonymous tipster who claimed one of the jurors who convicted Hernandez was biased, according to the Bristol County Sheriff.

Thomas M. Hodgson, who oversaw Hernandez while he was at the House of Correction in Massachusetts, denied that the murder case was tainted, according to the Boston Herald, but said that Hernandez appears to have engaged in a non-physical relationship with a woman who claimed that a juror was biased.

Aaron Hernandez's Fiancee Allowed to Add His Surname to Hers

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Aug 4, 2015, 12:07 PM ET

A judge has approved a request by the fiancee of former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez to add his last name to hers.

A probate judge in Rhode Island says she granted the request by Shayanna Jenkins on Monday to change her last name to Jenkins-Hernandez.

Tipster wrote sexual letters to Aaron Hernandez, according to prosecution

Associated Press

FALL RIVER, Mass. -- An anonymous tipster who raised questions about a juror in the murder trial of former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez had a sexually explicit relationship with him, a prosecutor said in a filing released Monday, the day Hernandez's fiancée was seen wearing a wedding band.

Prosecutor William McCauley said an attempt by Hernandez's lawyer to question the tipster under oath is an "unwarranted fishing expedition." The woman's identity has been redacted in court documents.

James Sultan, one of Hernandez's lawyers, has said the woman called him anonymously several times after Hernandez was convicted in April of first-degree murder in the 2013 death of Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancée. Sultan has said the tipster told him she worked with the juror and raised questions about what the juror knew about a 2012 Boston double-murder case in which Hernandez is also charged. Mention of that case was barred at the Lloyd murder trial.

Judge won't let Aaron Hernandez's lawyer question tipster (Video)

Associated Press

FALL RIVER, Mass. -- A Massachusetts judge says a lawyer for former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez can't question under oath an anonymous tipster who raised concerns about a juror in the murder case.

Superior Court Judge Susan Garsh ruled Monday that such a step is premature.

Defense attorney James Sultan says the tipster called him several times about a juror after Hernandez was convicted in April of first-degree murder in the 2013 death of Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancée.

Hernandez was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Prosecutors say the woman had a sexually explicit relationship with Hernandez while he was behind bars.

Garsh says if Sultan wants to question her under oath, he first has to submit an affidavit from her.

SO disappointed to hear this. I was hoping she'd develop some self-esteem and disassociate with him and find someone else who would treat her better. Terribly sad for her choices.

Ex-NFL star Hernandez wants double-murder indictment thrown out

BOSTON (Reuters) - Lawyers for former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez, who is serving a life sentence for killing an acquaintance in 2013, have filed a motion to quash a separate double-murder indictment, according to court filings unsealed on Monday.

In a motion filed in July, Hernandez's defense team says law enforcement officials sought a search warrant based on information from Carlos Ortiz, a friend of Hernandez, who failed a lie detector test following his statement to police.

Hernandez tipster appears to be backing off, lawyer says

Posted: Monday, August 10, 2015 10:31 pm |  Updated: 12:19 am, Tue Aug 11, 2015.

BY DAVID LINTON / SUN CHRONICLE STAFF

FALL RIVER — A tipster who has raised issues about one of the jurors who convicted Aaron Hernandez of murdering a man in North Attleboro “appears to be back-pedaling furiously” from her statements, court records released Monday say.

James Sultan, a lawyer for the former New England Patriot, said in court papers in Fall River Superior Court that he has attempted to meet with the tipster to obtain an affidavit, but has been unable to do so.

“Indeed, the informant appears to be back-peddling furiously from previous statements in an effort to avoid being questioned under oath,” Sultan wrote.

~Snipped~

Prosecutors contend the tipster exchanged sexually explicit letters with Hernandez before and after his murder trial and oppose bringing her in to be questioned under oath.

Sultan argued in court papers released Monday that questioning the tipster under oath is appropriate to determine whether further judicial inquiry is warranted.

“That informant should not be able to stymie such as inquiry unilaterally merely by refusing to cooperate further with defense counsel,” Sultan wrote. “Even at this stage of the proceedings, this is not how our adversary system of justice works.”

He "wants"?
We all want... so what???
Maybe, for once in his life, he won't get what he "wants."

I am sure there are a few mothers, sisters, brothers, children who "want" their loved ones ALIVE!
However, AH "wanted" them dead...

For once, let AH be on the short end of the stick...
Let AH be the receiver ...he did play football and should know how to run with that play!

Judge OKs questioning of tipster in ex-NFL star Hernandez's trial

Boston  |  By Scott Malone

A Massachusetts judge on Wednesday approved a request by lawyers for Aaron Hernandez to question a woman they said tipped them off to a juror who should have been disqualified, a move that could upend the former NFL star's murder conviction.

~Snipped~

Superior Court Justice Susan Garsh had previously ruled that jurors on the Lloyd case would not be told about the other murder, and lawyers had tried to eliminate potential jurors who had followed the Hernandez saga from serving.

Such knowledge could be grounds for Hernandez' conviction to be overturned.

On Wednesday, Garsh ruled that the court would allow defense lawyers to question the woman under oath in court in September, in a closed-door hearing.

"This court is simply ruling on whether to permit an examination under oath of the caller so that the parties can assess her credibility and decide whether to request that further action be taken by the court," Garsh said in a written order.

Wow.  He just can't stay out of trouble, even in prison. I guess he's got nothing to lose, as he's already a lifer.

I hope they put him in solitary confinement after this (wishful thinking, I know).

Friend of Hernandez gets immunity from prosecutors

By Travis Andersen Globe Staff  August 25, 2015

A onetime friend of Aaron Hernandez who investigators believe was with the former NFL star when he allegedly killed two men in Boston in 2012, has received immunity from the Suffolk County prosecutors who will try the murder case, according to a court filing.

The grant of immunity for Alexander Bradley was revealed in a legal filing in federal court in Florida, where Bradley is suing Hernandez. Bradley alleges in the lawsuit that Hernandez shot him in that state in February 2013.

In Monday’s court filing, lawyers for Bradley said they provided Hernandez’s civil defense counsel with a number of records, including “the Agreement for Immunity as contained in the letter between [Suffolk] Assistant [District] Attorney Patrick Haggan and attorney Robert P. Pickering, counsel for Alexander Bradley.”

Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley’s office has not confirmed that Bradley received immunity in connection with the July 2012 fatal shootings of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado in Boston’s South End.

Aaron Hernandez cousin has case dismissed due to cancer

By Crimesider Staff CBS/AP August 28, 2015, 12:45 PM

FALL RIVER, Mass. -- Prosecutors say they'll abandon their case against a cousin of ex-New England Patriots player and murder convict Aaron Hernandez because of her worsening cancer.

Tanya Singleton was charged with conspiracy to commit accessory after the fact in the 2013 killing of Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee. Prosecutors accused her of helping a Hernandez co-defendant flee to Florida.

Former NFL Player Aaron Hernandez Faces Wrongful Death Lawsuit

Southfield, MI (Law Firm Newswire) September 16, 2015

...Lloyd’s mother is now moving forward with a wrongful death lawsuit. “While Hernandez did not take the stand in his criminal trial, he would be compelled to do so in a wrongful death civil lawsuit,” said Daren Monroe, Litigation Funding Corp. Michigan representative.

In a civil lawsuit, the defendant cannot use their constitutional right against self-incrimination (the Fifth Amendment). And thus, in suing Hernandez for compensation for the death of Lloyd, he must testify in court. The burden of proof in a civil lawsuit is lower than the burden in a criminal case.

The wrongful death lawsuit was filed in 2013, approximately six months after Hernandez was arrested. However, given that criminal proceedings were pending, a Bristol Superior Court judge disallowed the civil case until the other case was concluded. Of further interest in the new civil trial will be the whereabouts of the significant sums of money Hernandez earned during his short football career.

Hernandez allegedly threatened associate after Lloyd murder

By Travis Andersen Globe Staff  September 18, 2015

Aaron Hernandez allegedly threatened an associate after the murder of Odin Lloyd, court documents show.

The alleged threat was disclosed Thursday in a ruling in the case against the associate, Carlos Ortiz, 29, of Bristol, Conn..

... In a 77-page ruling Thursday, Superior Court Judge E. Susan Garsh denied Ortiz’s request to suppress statements that he made to investigators in Connecticut days after Lloyd’s murder.

At one point during a series of interviews, the ruling said, Massachusetts State Police Sergeant John Moran told Ortiz he would be asked during a polygraph exam if he saw the person who shot Lloyd.

Then, Moran asked if Hernandez said anything to Ortiz about “keeping his mouth shut,” Garsh wrote in her ruling.

“Ortiz responded that Hernandez did not make a direct threat but looked at Ortiz and warned, ‘I’ll go to the people you love,’ ” the ruling said. “Ortiz believed this was a threat against his son.”

“Ortiz responded that Hernandez did not make a direct threat but looked at Ortiz and warned, ‘I’ll go to the people you love,’ ” the ruling said.According to Garsh’s ruling, investigators told Ortiz they believed Hernandez shot Lloyd but also warned that Hernandez and Wallace may try to pin the slaying on him.
.......
“[T]hey think you’re going to be the patsy,” Moran said. “That’s what they think. You got $8 million for an attorney? ... Aaron’s got $8 million. They love him. You’re the throw away guy, you know.”

Ortiz responded, “I know,” according to Garsh’s ruling...."

....

Sounds to me like AH was trying to threaten Oritz by implicating him...
and then AH stating he could get to Oritz' family...
Why else make that comment?

Sure seems like it's taking a long time to bring Ortiz and Wallace to trial.  Sleep

I still think that Ortiz will name AH as the shooter, but, I'm still wondering if Wallace will or if he is still stuck in "loyalty" mode.

Judge dismisses latest Aaron Hernandez bid for new trial

By John R. Ellement Globe Staff  September 28, 2015

A skeptical Bristol Superior Court Judge E. Susan Garsh threw out Aaron Hernandez’s latest effort to win a new trial, rejecting a claim based on an anonymous person’s posting on a state webpage that suggested juror misconduct during Hernandez’s murder trial.

In a brief order made public Monday, Garsh refused a request by lawyers for the former New England Patriots player to issue a subpoena for records from Mstar.net LLC, a Utah based Internet service provider.
