Casey Anthony was acquitted in the murder of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in 2011. (Caylee's body was found in a swamp near her parents' home.) Anthony has kept a low profile since the acquittal. For the first time in years, Anthony was photographed in May at a Mother's Day charity event in West Palm Beach. Local ABC station WPBF reports that “there is speculation that she is living in a home owned by a private investigator, who was part of her defense team.”

The New York Post reports that Anthony is getting ready to talk publicly. She reportedly flew (first class) to New York to meet with NBC producer Don Wood and NBC’s head booker Matt Zimmerman. In lieu of her first primetime TV interview since the trial, Oxygen will air an episode of its True Hollywood Story focusing on Anthony on July 13 at 8pm.

The notorious Floridian who was ultimately acquitted of the 2008 murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, met with senior NBC producers and bookers in New York last week to discuss the possibility of an exclusive interview, the Daily News has confirmed.

But a top NBC executive told the News,”There are no plans to do an interview or anything else with Casey Anthony,”

An interview would have marked the first time Anthony has spoken publicly since she was aquitted in June 2011 of first-degree murder, manslaughter and aggravated child abuse charges.

Anthony was ultimately acquitted in the murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.
The 29-year-old former party girl fared less well in the court of public opinion, essentially having been forced into hiding and having trouble landing a job.

There is financial incentive for Anthony to land a big-bucks offer for an interview after declaring bankruptcy in January 2013.

We don;t want to listen to what she has to say now it would probably be more lies anyway. Go away Casey, you brought this on your family and yourself, take responsibility and move on, WE have.

Casey Anthony Prosecutor Jeff Ashton Admits Visiting Ashley Madison Site

"....Ashton said his involvement with Ashley Madison, a website for married people seeking affairs, was limited to online. He said he indulged a curiosity by joining the site, but claimed he never met anyone in person and no laws were broken.

Ashton said he was "so curious how this could exist."

"....He said some of the times he visited the website from his office.

"I was wrong," Ashton said. "I was taught that when you do something wrong, you stand up and you say you did.

"These were incredibly stupid choices," Ashton said, adding that the choices "had absolutely no impact on the performance of my official duties."

"I hope the public will judge me on my 35 years of service, and not a bad mistake," he said.

Ashton and his wife have three children, according to his biography on the office of the state attorney website. He also has four older children from previous marriages, the biography said. In 2011, Ashton worked as prosecutor in the highly-publicized Casey Anthony murder trial. He was elected State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in 2012.

Ashley Madison suffered an unprecedented hack last month, apparently exposing names, email addresses and phone numbers, among other information, for some of the website's 37 million members.

After the hack, former reality star Josh Duggar admitted to having an account with Ashley Madison.

"I have been the biggest hypocrite ever," Duggar said in a statement earlier this week...."

he says no laws have been broken.
Says his choices have no impact upon his official duties...
says he is not very proud of self...
No mention of morality!!!
Says he paid for his membership on his own credit  card.
Says he was curious as to the site.

(JMO but it appears he has had plenty of problems in his prior marriages...I have to wonder if they were due to his being unfaithful.... He has admitted to visiting the web site at his office. I am sure it was not part of his official duties. )
