KNOXVILLE, TN (WSMV) - The TBI has issued a statewide Amber Alert for a toddler missing out of Knoxville.

Brooklynne Enix, 2, is a white female, 3’ tall, weighing 38 pounds. She has blue eyes and brown hair.

Brooklynne was last seen at her home in Knoxville Tuesday. Her mother was found dead at the home earlier Wednesday.

Investigators believe Brooklynne may be in the custody of her father, 36-year-old Tyler Enix. He is 6’2”, 205 pounds, bald with blue eyes.

Tyler Enix may be driving a 2011 black, four-door Chevrolet Impala with Tennessee tag G6116U. He has previous arrests for domestic assault, false imprisonment and aggravated assault.

(WBIR-KNOXVILLE) Knoxville Police are looking for a 2-year-old girl who may have been kidnapped by her father, and investigating the murder of her mother, who was found dead in their Fountain City condominium.

Investigators said that officers were called to the Templeton Court condos in Fountain City to do a welfare check. Just after 2 pm, they found a woman dead inside her condominium, and her daughter,, Brooklynne Emerie Enix, missing.  Brooklynne has blonde or light brown hair, is 3 feet tall and weighs 38 lbs.

Investigators believe Brooklyne could be with her father, Tyler Enix, 36. He is 6'2", 205 pounds, and is bald. The two may be traveling in a 2013 black Impala,with Tennessee tag #G61-16U, that belonged to the woman who was found dead.

If you see her, you are advised to call 911.

KPD said that Enix and Brooklynne's mother are estranged, and they could not confirm if Enix was living at the condo.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a statewide Amber Alert for 2-year-old Brooklynne Enix.

Tyler Ward Enix has previous arrests for Domestic Assault, False Imprisonment and Aggravated Assault, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Brooklynne is described as a white female, 3 feet tall, 38 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

(WBIR - KNOXVILLE) Authorities are continuing to look for a missing 2-year-old girl on Thursday morning after Knoxville police issued a warrant for the arrest of the girl's father. The father is charged with first-degree murder of the girl's mother.

Knoxville police are still looking for Brooklynne Enix as of Thursday morning. Investigators believe her father, Tyler Enix, kidnapped her after killing her mother. The mother, Kimberly Enix, was found dead in their Fountain City condominium.

Knoxville police have charged Tyler Enix with first-degree murder of Kimberly Enix, according to a release late Wednesday from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Tennessee toddler Brooklynne Enix kidnapped by her ex-con father after her mother was found slain in her home: police

A convicted domestic abuser took his 2-year-old girl on the run after the girl’s mother was found slain in her Knoxville, Tenn., home Wednesday, police said.

Investigators believe Tyler Enix, 36, abducted Brooklynne Enix following the homicide at Kimberly Enix’s Quiet Way apartment in Fountain City in northern Knoxville, police told the Knoxville News Sentinel.

Officers discovered the 36-year-old’s body at 2:18 p.m. after her mother’s colleagues alerted police she hadn’t shown up for work, according to the Knoxville Police Department.

Police told the local newspaper the Tyler and Kimberly Enix had grown estranged but may not have been divorced yet.

Update: This AMBER Alert has been cancelled. Both Tyler Enix and his daughter have been found safe in Morrow County, Ohio.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tyler Enix, wanted for the abduction of his daughter, has been added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Top 10 Most Wanted list.

Enix is charged with first degree murder.

Ohio driver heard AMBER Alert, called police; Girl safe, suspect-father arrested

Police released this statement at 11:58am Thursday concerning the missing girl who has been the subject of a statewide Tennessee AMBER Alert since Wednesday afternoon: "Child has been safely recovered and the suspect is in custody."

The two were found in a rural area of Morrow County, Ohio, before noon on Thursday.

According to a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation blog: "A citizen had heard the AMBER Alert on the radio and realized he was behind the vehicle referenced in the alert. The citizen called 911 and deputies with the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded and initiated a traffic stop."

Tyler Ward Enix is being interviewed by Ohio law enforcement authorities. A current booking photo is not yet available.

(WBIR) Court documents obtained by WBIR 10News on Thursday reveal details about Tyler Enix's divorce earlier this year with the woman police say he murdered.

Those papers, plus documents WBIR obtained and reported on Wednesday, piece together the picture of a man with a long history of aggression, harassment and assault.

"When an abuser starts to feel power and control slipping away is when they try to clamp down and things get dangerous," Dilworth said.

Court documents show a long history of violence by Enix, stretching back more than a decade and spanning several women.

Since 2001, convicted offenses include harassing his first wife and attacking an ex-girlfriend. In 2010, he served one year in prison with three years' probation for aggravated assault and harassment of his second wife.

"It's about power and control," Dilworth said. "People who have that issue usually have a lower internal locus of control, so they try to exert power and control over others, and so it's usually going to be over the person that they're in a partnership with and then their children."

Documents show Tyler Enix and murder victim Kim Enix finalized their divorce in April.

At the time, that included a parenting plan, which allowed him to see the couple's daughter Brooklynne 80 days per year, including Father's Day, his birthday and every other Thanksgiving. He also had to pay $150 every week in child support.

Kim Enix was his third ex-wife.

Enix has one daughter with each of his other two ex-wives.

Kimberly Enix's daughters hope for reunion with Brooklynne soon (Video)

(WBIR-KNOXVILLE) Cheerleaders at Oliver Springs High Schools honor the memory of Kimberly Enix by releasing balloons at their football game tonight. Their small school was shaken after learning of Enix's death. Her oldest daughter, from a previous marriage, is a cheerleader at Oliver Springs High School. Her ex husband Chris Morrison is working to make sure his daughters remember their mother's life, good memories, and not the way she died.

The search for the man accused of murdering his ex-wife, Kimberly Enix, and kidnapping their daughter, Brooklynne, is over. And Brooklynne has returned to Knoxville and is in foster care, according to relatives. But her two half-sisters hope for a reunion with Brooklynne soon.

Now, the girls want to do what they think would make their mom happy.

"I know that's what my mom would've wanted. For me, Brooklynne and Olivia to stay together," said Alexia.

That's why Kim's ex-husband, Olivia and Alexia's father, Chris Morrison, has taken legal steps to get custody of Brooklynne.

"My youngest child is 11. So, it's been awhile since I've had a toddler. All I know is raising girls, so it's not going to be new for me," said Morrison.

Funeral for Kimberly Enix set for Sunday (Video)

(WBIR, Knoxville) - Family and friends of Kimberly Enix will gather to remember her at a memorial service Sunday night.

The funeral is set for 8:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends before that, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Enix will be buried Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Hill Cemetery on Clinton Highway.

Tyler Enix waived his extradition in Ohio, and is expected back in Tennessee in about a week. Brooklynne is already back in Tennesee and at last check was in foster care.
