I do enjoy all of the above!

This case is very said--such a beautiful young woman, and 12 weeks pregnant with her second child.

I am reading that the powers that be are considering adding additional charges to Taylor, if found guilty:  (6 to 20 years) because of her pregnancy.  I think 20 years may begin to be appropriate.  I will not be surprised if this becomes a death penalty case for Taylor.

I can't find anything indicating Gordan was charged--that seems so strange to me.  Why just Watson and Taylor?

Another thing--I find her husband's demeanor is slightly off.  Maybe he is still in shock, though.

He went to the gym and left the door unlocked--with his pregnant wife and one year old child in the home?  Oh, dear.

Yes slightly off is an understatement. Altho I really don't think he had his wife killed, I think he is "capitalizing" on her death. That irritates me!!!

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Police questioned at least three men Thursday in connection with the fatal shooting of an Indianapolis pastor's wife, reports CBS affiliate WTTV.

The three men were taken into custody Thursday morning after police served several search warrants at different locations across the city. Two of the men were arrested on unrelated parole violations, a police spokesperson confirmed.

The Indianapolis Star reports that in a previous high-profile case, the November 2014 slaying of 15-year-old Dominique Allen, the suspect was initially held in jail on a parole violation for 10 days before being charged in Allen's murder.

Officers conducted DNA swabs on the three men to compare to evidence found at the crime scene.

Police say Blackburn was shot in the head during a home robbery, which detectives later linked to another nearby home break-in. Sources confirmed to the station that Blackburn was sexually assaulted in the attack.

A three-man crime spree on the morning of Nov. 10 ended in the murder of an Indianapolis pastor’s pregnant wife, according to a newly released legal filing.

Before Watson’s charges were announced, Davey Blackburn said in a statement that he was “extremely relieved” by the news of Taylor’s arrest and that he hoped “that Jesus would give me and our family a heart of forgiveness.”

“Though everything inside of me wants to hate, be angry, and slip into despair I choose the route of forgiveness, grace and hope,” Blackburn said in the statement posted Monday morning on the Resonate Church’s Facebook page.

Yeah, I agree.  I haven't been following this but after a quick Google, I felt that he was all but ready to step out and go dancing.

It's hardly letting your emotions rule you when you shed a few tears for your brutally murdered, pregnant wife--especially when you managed to go the gym and leave the door unlocked--if that is indeed correct.

Anyway.  

Regarding the BBM - I'm not sure about Indiana, but they would be interesting, wouldn't they?

The 911 call?  Wow, now that I would like to hear.  I think they could release it if they deem it is not "investigatory."  However, if it is up to their discretion to deem it "investigatory" or "not investigatory"--I don't think we will hear it any time soon.

I found the following two timelines:  I thought the first one was good, until I found the second one.  It is very detailed and comprehensible, but also clearly states that it is protected by the copyright laws.  I'll link it down below as I'm quite sure we are allowed to do that much.

That is very odd.  She was shot in the back of her head; downward, through and through her upper back; and in her lower left arm which traveled to her bicep--not to mention being hit in the mouth so hard with the gun that it split her lip and knocked out at least one lower tooth.

He found her face down, and nude--panties next to her and shirt pulled up.

So, I don't know.  Maybe it would depend on the type of bullet.  Some of them make only a small hole but do all their damage on the inside.  It sounds like there was a lot of blood--that could have made it difficult to see exactly where it was coming from; and, I suppose, maybe her hair had matted.

I would really, really like to hear the 911 call with my own ears.

What I am hoping is that LE are still actively investigating anyone who may have been involved in her murder.

If the three have all pleaded not guilty--Taylor has for sure--they could be not telling the whole story.  I think there is more to this, and it might come out yet.

The 911 call will definitely be played at trial; so I can see it being withheld for now.  (Although I desperately want to hear it.)

It could turn out to be very important evidence.

Honestly, I agree with the group unhappy with him for posting her personal journal entries.

Sometimes when I am reading about this case, I have to give my face a little slap so my jaw closes.  I think dear hubby is way, way out of line.

Third Man Facing Charges For Burglaries Before Amanda Blackburn's Killing

A third man has been charged in connection with a string of break-ins that preceded the November 10 killing of pregnant mother Amanda Blackburn, the wife of a young Indianapolis pastor.

Charging documents filed Monday and obtained by PEOPLE indicate that Diano Gordon, 24, faces burglary and theft charges for stealing electronics and other items from two homes prior to Blackburn's killing.

An affidavit claims Gordon allegedly entered the two homes with two accomplices, Larry Taylor, Jr., 18, and Jalen Watson, 21. Both of those men have been charged with Blackburn's murder.

Gordon is not charged in connection to her death.

Police say that Davey Blackburn returned home from the gym to find his wife unconscious and on the floor, bleeding from her head.

Amanda died the day after the shooting in the hospital after being removed from life support machines.

Gordon has been in jail since November 19 on an alleged parole violation. Court records do not indicate who his attorney is.

Amanda Blackburn, the pregnant Indiana pastor's wife who was murdered during a home invasion last month, might have unwittingly predicted her departure from her husband's life in a newly released page from her prayer journal.

Amanda's husband, Pastor Davey Blackburn, shared the entry from his deceased wife's prayer journal on Twitter Wednesday. In it she discussed her struggle with having to leave the Perry Noble led NewSpring megachurch in South Carolina where she attended with Davey before moving to Indianapolis to start Resonate Church in 2012.

According to Davey Blackburn, Amanda made the journal entry after their last Sunday at NewSpring.

In the entry, Amanda reflected on the life of the biblical character Job, who despite his devotion to God, lost his wealth, his children and his wife as calamity after calamity struck him in a test of his faith to God by the devil.

After refusing to give up on God despite his troubles, Job was eventually restored.

Hours before she was fatally shot multiple times in her home on Nov. 10, Amanda Blackburn, 28, the pregnant wife of Indiana pastor Davey Blackburn, expressed her adoration for Jesus in a heartbreaking journal entry.

A grieving Pastor Blackburn shared a copy of the journal entry from Nov. 9 in a Twitter post on Monday. The writing reflected a peace which stands in stark contrast to the violent death she would suffer hours later.

In the entry, in which she thanks God for blessing Resonate Church – the church she and her husband planted in 2012 – Amanda highlights the lyrics of Helen H. Lemmel's 1922 hymn "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus," also known as "The Heavenly Vision."

Thanks for this!  Mr. Hyatt is like all of us--sometimes he calls it right, and sometimes he doesn't.  I very much enjoyed reading this, though.

My favorite part, and where I am currently pretty much stuck, is quoted below:

These two times were the only times such hesitancy was shown. Both times resulted in a non-answer. The detective states, "I don't know." The prosecutor states, "I think it is fair to say there is no reason that is the case." Reason? Reason? Why not just say (I think it is fair to say that is not the case).....? Because they can't, in this way they truly are not clearing Davey 100 percent.

Hi Randie and crimeq and everyone!

I just wanted to pipe in and say that it has bothered me from very early on that the crime scene was released so quickly and that Davey was declared 100% cleared within the first few days. In fairness, I don't remember if the 100% cleared statement was from official LE or a media "leak". I am just so put off by DB and convinced he is a narcissist, that I would prefer that he would be looked at a little more closely. Then again, there have always been cases where people have been given enough rope (or time) to hang themselves. I sincerely hope, for the baby's sake that Davey is as innocent as the driven snow.

Another nagging question, does anyone know if there was life insurance on Amanda? I know that there is some fundraising going on for Davey and Weston (t-shirt sales) Child care will be a big expense.

Why in the world would he use this quote??!!  His wife was just brutaly and violently murdered.  A scalpel is used to cut out cancer, gangrene, goiters...etc...

I notice he likes to say that Jesus provides everything for him; so I interpret that little gem to mean that since He (Jesus) cut Amanda and her pregnancy out of his life; Blackburn can now prance on, free at last, with the blessing of none other than Jesus himself.  DB just needs to trust the actions of Jesus.  Grief is not necessary, just send money.

Blackburn's arrogance blows my mind.
