SOUTH YARMOUTH, Mass. - A Cape Cod couple has been questioned in the case of a missing Florida girl who disappeared from her father's mobile home in February.

Putnam County Sheriff Spokesman Lt. Johnny Greenwood told the Boston Herald on Monday that police interviewed Timothy Croslin and his wife on Saturday, but would not say why. The interview was reportedly at the South Yarmouth state police barracks.

Croslin's sister, Misty Croslin, was the last person to see Haleigh Cummings. She was baby-sitting the then 5-year-old on Feb. 10 at her father's home, just outside Satsuma, when she says she awoke and noticed a light on.

The back door was propped open and Haleigh was missing. Police have said they don't think Misty Croslin has been straight with them, but they have not named any suspects.

Now, RUMOR has it that the photo in that article is from a Walmart nearby. After doing a through search online, I am going to list NUMEROUS links to articles about this exact interview that the police did. At the bottom, I will also post two seperate links. ONE is to a story about the couple questioned AND a tidbit about a tip of her being spotted at the "Walmart" with the name of the "so called" news media that reported it. The SECOND link will be the link to the NEWS MEDIA MENTIONED and the article about HaLeigh.

Now, here is THE ONLY article that mentions a "Walmart" (that I could find)

Hunt for missing Fla. girl leads to Cape

A nationwide search for a missing Florida girl came to Massachusetts over the weekend, when Sunshine State authorities traveled to Cape Cod to question a couple in the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings.

Investigators interviewed Timothy Croslin and his wife Saturday as they searched for clues that might help them find Haleigh, 6, who disappeared from her Satsuma, Fla., home on Feb. 9, according to Putnam County Sheriff spokesman Lt. Johnny Greenwood.

Croslin’s sister, Misty, 17, was the last person to see Haleigh. She told police she tucked the little girl into bed the night of Feb. 10 while her boyfriend, and Haleigh’s father, Ronald Cummings, 25, was away at work.

Misty, who police say is not a suspect, has given authorities conflicting details of what happened that evening and flunked a lie-detector test.

“If we can determine what happened that night, we’d be a lot closer to bringing Haleigh home,” Greenwood said.

Timothy Croslin could not be reached; neither could Misty Croslin nor Ronald Cummings.

Putnam County Sheriff agents and officials with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement traveled to the Cape to interview Croslin, Greenwood said, but he wouldn’t say why.

(Bolded by me) According to the WBZ-TV.com, the Florida investigators were following up on a tip Haleigh was spotted at an Abington Walmart. Haleigh is 3 feet tall and weighs about 40 pounds.

Just to help out, I have also done a "search" of the site to attempt to find the article mentioned about "HaLeigh". Here is what I found...

I don't think any photos in the links you posted resemble surveillance video at all. They all look like old pictures of Haleigh.

Not just that J4A, If you look at the article that states that there was a tip about a spotting at a "Walmart" and where they say the article is actually located, there is NO ARTICLE there about her being spotted at a Walmart AT ALL! So, if there is no article, there isn't any surveillance video pictures either.

The Boston Herald article said "according to the WBZ-TV.com, the Florida investigators were following up on a tip Haleigh was spotted at an Abington Walmart." I looked at the Haleigh articles on WBZ-TV.com and they didn't mention anything about a Walmart.
