Phillip Garrido gave client child-safety tips

Janice Gomes, one of Phillip Garrido's clients, started a safety awareness nonprofit and contacted him about printing a flyer. He offered Gomes a couple suggestions for the flyer. He told her that "children should never walk to bus stops by themselves, because they are no match for adults." He also told her that he didn't believe there was safety in numbers. He said, "if an adult approaches a group of kids and they scatter, you only have to grab one and that's all you want."

Of course Gomes had no idea at the time that the freak was speaking from experience.

This man is creepy, and disturbing on so many levels! He really makes my skin crawl. I cannot believe someone didn't do something about him a lot sooner.

Something really should have been done when the police were getting calls about blond girls in a sex offender's backyard.

It sure seems like CPS isn't very selective in who they hire, or how they train their employees.
