The manslaughter plea was accepted on the basis that Watson, an experienced diver, failed in his duty as Tina's dive buddy by not giving her emergency oxygen.
He's a certified rescue diver..............they are stating he was convicted not because he murdered her, but because he failed to rescue her. What is the difference? That picture is haunting, her arms reaching up and out for help, he let her sink to the bottom....he knew what was happening to her.

I know, AJ, just horrific......I remember watching the news release above with Tamara Holder. She's the one that put a smack down on Cindy Anthony in an interview, she did an excellent job at that.
It will be interesting to see what happens to Mr. Watson upon his return to the States...justice needs to be served for this young lady. How ironic another diver got this on camera.......

I agree too, that would be a horrifying way to die, with him watching, and not caring.

I remember watching it too and hearing how he had just taken out life insurance on her....
How sickening to know that he planned this from the start... without her ever knowing..
I still cant believe he wasnt charged with capital murder...
How much more evidence was needed to show how this was planned ??? That video said it all, there was no mistaking his intentions..I suspect he set the entire scenario up from the start.. I suspect he knew damned well that she was going to need help, and he knew he waqs going to let her die...
Crimes like this where there is pure intent, and no remorse for that matter, shud have an auto DP.. why support him in jail??
