PORTLAND, Ore. - A groundskeeper, who was mowing the soccer field at Skyline School the morning Kyron Horman disappeared, clarified his timeline to investigators Friday morning and it differs slightly from what he told a KATU News reporter earlier in the week.

Stensen told a reporter earlier in the week that he cut the grass on the soccer field between 7:45 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. and never saw the truck on the road.

He had to use the gravel access road to get to the soccer field, only he apparently used it before and after that half-hour window of time.

He met with two detectives and a deputy district attorney at Skyline School early Friday to go over his timeline in detail.

Stensen told investigators that he left Skyline School as late as 8:45 a.m. or 9 a.m., which means he could have missed seeing the Horman truck being in the two spots investigators are interested in, especially since he spent his time and attention at the school mowing the soccer field.

Investigators say that puts him on the gravel road outside of the critical half-hour window they want to know about since they have witnesses who saw someone in or around the Hormans’ truck during that time.

Still, authorities said it was helpful to have spoken to Stensen in depth.

Did they not talk to him in the first few days? Now they are trying to discredit him? LE changing his story for the media/public............

On June 4, between 9:30-10 a.m., Andrea Leckey ran into Horman at the Fred Meyer along Walker Road in Beaverton, sharing an encounter that was the longest they had ever had.

During the conversation, Leckey said Terri mentioned just coming from the science fair at Skyline School, even showing her the now well-known picture of her step-son, Kyron.

Piper, I don't think they talked to him earlier? When they posted those pix, showing the truck parked on the gravel road and saying it was the truck Terri drove to the school that morning. They wanted someone to come forward and say they saw her at the truck there, or saw someone else with her at the truck.

The grass mower (or could he be called a landscaper) came forward and said his truck was parked there, and LE sure didn't want to hear that. We would not have heard this from LE. If the man had not talked to the media, we would never have known it.

I fear the case is not about finding Kyron anymore and it's not about finding the truth..........

LE is making me sicker by the day! They refuse to state any alternative other than to squeeze Terri into the mix come hell or high water! Couldn't they at least say the obvious that whoever said they saw the white truck MAY have actually seen the groundskeeper's truck? Oh....but no....it HAD to be Terri's truck PERIOD!

How does that song lyric go? "Look to find a reason to believe"....

Perhaps this guy made his statement and now is being hounded by the press and decided to backtrack and recant his earlier statement.

Furthermore, he stated the grounds were wet and difficult or harder to cut- which means he would have taken longer to do the job, not the normal- 30 minutes or 45 minutes he claimed it would usually take to do the same job. Unless he is trying to cover his own ass with the school board that he isn't milking the clock.

Groundskeeper statement:

“It seemed like just a pretty normal day,” he said. “It was kind of damp and wet. It had been wet for a while and the fields were hard to mow. (I) noticed that there was some children that came out the back door, and I thought, ‘please don’t come down and play soccer.’ But they came out and looked at some plants that were in the raised bed.”

So children went outside during the science fair. The plants could have been part of a science project, I don't know. He didn't say he saw an adult with them, only children and they came out the back door.

Not sure if this is a gym as well as an auditorium. It had curtains in the window that made me think of an auditorium. You can see stairs straight ahead that lead down into the school.

Sauvie Island Pics...

Dead End
This is a very desolate spot at the end of Steelman Rd., at the north end of the island. This is across from Scappoose. There were a couple people fishing on the banks, but no one else around. The grass is very high and it would be easy to hide something there. This part of the island is in Columbia County, rather than Multnomah County. Gave me the creeps

Sauvie Island is huge and full of dense vegetation. Searching that entire area would seem literally impossible.

All those pics were VERY revealing! I do think we need to figure out where his class is!

One thing that I was able to determine fromthe pics is that the gym has curtains, so there is a very good chance that Tyler could not see to the parking lot (and potentially see the truck) at the same that he saw Kyron there with some other friends.
He must have seen the truck as he was arriving. I'd like to know though why he thinks it was Terri's versus the groundskeepers or someone else's.

I'm not convinced that he absolutely did see her truck (he may have & he may not have) but I'm pretty convinced that it's irrelevant anyway, as he likely did NOT see it at the same time he saw Kyron...so Terri could have been gone by then, or she could have been on the other side of the gym...it all depends on timing, and that he is not allowed to mention at this point...and I can see why LE is wanting him to keep that quiet.

Oh, and another thing that is pretty clear too...there certainly are more than 3 egresses in that school! I figured as much...clearly there are 3 egresses for general public, but there are far more...like 7 or 8...

I would imagine that they took the dogs throughout the school that weekend or that night...chances are that they did not pick up a scent in the basement or in the cafeteria or anything like that or they'd have a different approach though.

So they must be certain that he left through one of the main doors...unless they picked up no scent, in which case he could have been removed in something.

That's what surprised me.........many doors, stairs, alcoves. So many of the stairs out back with very tall weeds. I should have posted those pictures in the "Skyline" pictures thread.

Hey just incase I'm not the only nit-wit...I didn't realize that there is video of the interview with Andrea...I guess that might be why it wasn't so obvious to me that she saw Kiara...DER! Anyway, I jsut read the transcript of the video, a must watch for anyone who hasn't seen it!

Andrea saw Terri around 9:30-10:00...the last time that anyone saw DeeDee at her job was 9:45, right? No way DeeDee could have been in the truck with Kyron or something, right????

He's my oldest...that's his K pic, he's going into 2nd in a couple weeks. I need to upload some newer pics with him & my daughter too. The most recent I have of the both of them is like 2 years old! I hope neither of them go missing, cuz apparently not having recent pics on your computer makes you a prime suspect.

I guess I'm stupid. When did the DeDe Spicher timeline change? Two weeks ago, her missing time was 11:15 to 1:00, and now it's 10:00 to 1:00.

Does LE just make this stuff up as they go along?

New website dedicated to Kyron Horman investigation

A new website recently launched compiles photos and other information related to missing 7-year-old Kyron Horman.

BringKyronHome.org is managed by volunteers for the Horman family, according to the site. A line at the bottom of the main page also reads "Copyright 2010, Kaine Horman." Kaine Horman is the boy's father.

DeeDee's timeline changed a few days ago...originally they noted her missing when they couldn't locate her at about 11:15, but it was changed when they mentioned that the last time anyone could account for her was at 9:45.
