I'm watching part one again and right before Jessica Bashara takes the stand at about 29:03 Bob leans in to talk to his attorney and whispers something that sounds like "this next witness" his attorney laughs and whispers something in return and then says what sounds like "it is what it is" at the end. I have listened with earbuds and headphones and I still can't make out the entire conversation. I am a bit hard of hearing so perhaps someone with better hearing can make it out. They seemed to think it was funny and it enrages me because he was talking about his daughter....whatever it was BB said and it seemed derogatory.

The 20-year-old college student joined Bob Bashara for an ABC News interview that aired today on "Good Morning America," telling the nation that she does not believe her dad killed her mother.

"Without a doubt in my mind, I know that he did not do it," she said. "There's no way ... I just know how my mother felt about him. There was never any hint of violence."

The third day of Bashara’s preliminary exam on murder and other charges was cut short when a power outage forced an evacuation of the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice in Detroit and several other buildings downtown.

Rachel Gillett was on the stand when the lights went out, six minutes into her testimony about how she met “Master Bob” in 2008 on an alternative lifestyle website.

Earlier in the day, Jessica Bashara, who was away at college in Ann Arbor when her mother, Jane Bashara, was killed, testified about problems in her parents’ relationship. Her father is accused of orchestrating her mother’s death by convincing his part-time handyman, Joe Gentz, to kill her in January 2012.

Bob Bashara told his daughter things weren’t going well, she said. The couple went to counseling, her father accused her mother of being critical of him, and Jane Bashara was upset about her husband’s behavior, including his repeated use of a BDSM website.

“She thought that he stopped using it,” Jessica Bashara testified, adding that he was later caught on it again.

I know!  Can you believe it!  What timing!  If I didn't know better, I'd say that Bob had something to do with these hearing interruptions (inmate escape on Monday, power outage today).

I find it really funny that Bob had erectile dysfunction with Rachel!  Serves him right!

I also can't wait to hear what else Rachel has to say.  We've waited so long to hear from her!  And I love the term "spork"; I've never heard that before; very fitting!

Yeah, I didn't get that, either.  I wish Ms. Lindsey had asked her to clarify that.  What did HER phone have to do with anything?  And she didn't answer the question as to Jane confronting him about it.  Very confusing.  I'm sure we'll get clarification during the trial, as you just know he's going to be held over for trial.

I'm just thrilled that his mother, cousin, and daughter have all testified against him. That should speak volumes to the jury when we get to the trial.

My heart breaks for Jessica. Bad enough to realize your dad premeditated a murder, but when it's your own mother? I just can't even begin to imagine. Bob's incredible selfishness caused so many people so much pain. He still doesn't get that, and I doubt he ever will.

I'm glad to know my notes have been helpful, especially for those who don't have time to go back and watch the videos.

I haven't been able to capture everything discussed, so I'm sure I've missed some stuff, but it's rather exhausting to try to keep up with it all, especially since the hearing starts at 6 a.m. my time.  I can bear with it for a one-week hearing, but, just so you know, I have no plans to do this during trial, especially if it's going to last months, as I would expect.  I'd look like this if I did:

GROSSE POINTE PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) - 7 Action News has learned the Bob Bashara's attorney David Griem is asking to have himself removed from the case.

Griem filed a motion in 36th District Court asking to withdraw from the case.

In his motion Griem writes, "There has been an irreparable breakdown in the attorney/client relationship as a result of which the undersigned move to withdraw as counsel."

Griem said he and Bashara differ on case strategy and asserted that attorney-client privilege prevents him from detailing the reasons. Revealing the differences also would tip off Wayne County prosecuting attorneys.

So now we know why.  His comments make perfect sense, now!

He was granted permission to withdraw on 7/31/12.  So, as of August, 2012, he was no longer Bob's attorney, but he was holding/hiding evidence until last week!  Now I understand why Todd Flood, legal commentator, said that Griem could be charged with obstruction!  I really hope they go after him now.

Ah Ha! Bingo! That whole Griem business now makes sense. He kept that gun for over a year. They better charge him with obstruction! Thank you for this CP!
