BELLEFONTE -- Jerry Sandusky had told a caseworker that he had a three-year "relationship" with the boy known as Victim One, according to testimony today.

Sandusky denied anything sexual. But he did admit to lying with the boy and cracking his back. To kissing his forehead.

He said he was wrapped up in Victim One, according to testimony.

That he felt used by the boy.

He admitted to following his school bus after a fight.

Jerry Sandusky trial: John McQueary corroborates son's testimony

John McQueary, father of former Penn State assistant coach Mike McQueary, corroborated his son's testimony this morning and said he relayed the story to former university official Gary Schultz during a business meeting in 2001.

The conversation between Mike McQueary and his father happened in their living room. "He said (Sandusky) was positioned behind the young man and against the shower wall and, well, it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what was going on."

BELLEFONTE -- Cross-examination of John McQueary, the father of assistant coach Mike McQueary, was cut short at the sexual assault trial for Jerry Sandusky this morning when he testified that he did not remember ever taking the stand at a preliminary hearing for two Penn State officials charged with perjury and failure to report.

Attorney Karl Rominger seemed stunned, showed McQueary a transcript that proves he was there and did testify, but John McQueary stood firm in not remembering.

Prosecutors confirmed he was there, but Judge Cleland asked Rominger to move on, since McQueary had already answered the question.

I can't believe any of them still could be, I am proud of my school but if I found out a prominant person there did this & crushed a solid reputation as well as a beloved head coach, ending his career & his life (I think Joe Pa lost his will to live after this scandal broke) - I could not imagine letting this behavior slide thinking it would somehow protect my school's reputation. If anything it makes it worse, it shows that ALL of Sandusky's peers are looking the other way. If that's the kind of community they have up there I don't want any part of it, they can have their molesters & rapists just keep them there & away from me & my family!

I swear if I ever found out anything like this happened at the University of Michigan, I'd be done. I'd never support them again. As an alum or fan, you can let a lot of things slide, but something like this? No. Just no. I do believe it was probably suspected/known/talked about in college football circles(hence why Sandusky never got another shot at coaching once he left PSU).... a lot of people should be disgusted/ashamed with themselves. :/

BELLEFONTE -- A 25-year-old Centre County man who picked up a phone in November and responded to a plea from the state Attorney General's office for men who had been abused by Jerry Sandusky to come forward and tell their stories took the stand as the third alleged victim in the child sex abuse trial.

Known in a grand jury presentment as alleged Victim 10, he testified that he was a Second Mile child, in foster care in 1998 because of a bad home life, and was forced to exchange oral sex with Sandusky in the basement of his home at least five times.

"We were wrestling and the defendant pinned me to the ground, pulled my shorts down and started performing oral sex on me," he testified. "I freaked out."

Cross examination will be interesting, as this doesn't sound like the pattern the prosecution established with the first two, hand on leg, rubbing back, touching, kissing, gifts, trips to campus/games, etc. Maybe they just didn't report these details in the news article & he did testify to a similar pattern ??

I don't know. I'm sure there will be more information about his testimony, and that we will find out more details about the circumstances in which the abuse took place.

Jerry Sandusky pinned down a young foster child and performed oral sex on him, threatened to keep him from seeing his family if he reported what happened and then later told him he loved him, the accuser testified Wednesday.

The man, now 25 and called Victim 10 by prosecutors, told the court Sandusky assaulted him in the basement of the former Penn State assistant football coach's State College home in the late 1990s, then threatened to keep him away from his biological family.

"He told me that if I ever told anyone that I'd never see my family again," the accuser testified.

Sandusky is in the middle, with his arm around Victim 4.

Victim 6 and Victim 7 are in the picture, along with several other children who Victim 7 identified for jurors.

All the kids were friendly. They all attended games together. None of them knew that any of the others were also being abused at the time.

Attorney Joe Amendola, during the cross-examination of Victim 7, spent a lot of time on the subject. Through his questioning, he made his point to jurors: He thinks some of the accusers conspired to falsely accuse Sandusky.

So, people are saying V7 wasn't that good and the defense made some headway. Just hope it doesn't fly with the jury.

I have to admit today scares me. The inconsistencies in V7 and then John McQueary's faulty memory. :/ I worry that if the jury is gonna give JS the benefit of the doubt, today might be the day they cling to. :/

I am just very worried that JS is gonna get away with it. :/

Haven't posted on here till now, it's just too disturbing to here these things or think about them. This man belongs locked away for ever. Pleople like Sandusky don't change, they set out to perfect their sickness in order not to get caught in the future.

What troubles me is how can his wife stand by his side thru all this. I can't help but think that she knew and did nothing about it.

Most women with 6 minor children need/want their husband's to help with meals, baths, homework, etc etc. And they are gonna be "vocal" if they don't get a helping hand....Soooo, DS was upstairs with their kids doing all of that happily by herself, and Jer was down in the basement spending hours upon hours with another child/children??? ALONE. And on trips - did their children not get to go on the trips and stay in their hotel rooms. BS, imo.

I'm surprised too but I think it's because neither side is examining the witnesses all that long. They all seem to get on and off pretty quickly. No witness has been on the stand an entire day. I don't even think the defense is actually questioning the allegations; they seem to question dates.

Here's what bugs the heck out of me:
The words sick and sickness. These people cannot be cured. They will forever be preditors. They are not sick just obecessed with their own evil satisfaction. Period.
Re-victimizing victims should be against the law. So what if a victim or witness gets a date wrong? Who really gives a sh$t? It happened.
I'll be glad when this trial is over and that pig is locked away. I can't stand the details of it and can't even imagine what it's like for those young men to have to face their abuser and be forced to relive it all and be questioned as though they have all gotten together to plot JS's evil deeds.
Just makes me sick I tell you.

This trial is just too awful to even listen to.

After the CA trial I hate to even think that JS might get off in any way.

But then again I didn't think CA had a prayer either. That trial really made me lose faith in our judicial system.

Anytime the defense makes any points, I wonder what the jurors are thinking.

I suppose Jer's buddies in the courtroom are saying the janitor "is such a liar" like they did to McQueary. They probably think the janitor is looking for a payday as well - it may be a blessing that the guy who witnessed the act has dimentia, hopefully he doesn't remember it at all & hasn't had to re-live that experience.

Prosecutors played Jerry Sandusky's highly criticized television interview with NBC's Bob Costas for jurors during the trial today, but they edited it midway through so that one of the controversial segments was played twice.

About seven minutes into the almost 9-minute interview, Bob Costas asked Sandusky:

"Are you sexually attracted to young boys, to underage boys?"

"Am I sexually attracted to underage boys?" Sandusky asked Costas.

"Yes," Bob Costas interrupts.

"Sexually attracted? No, I enjoy young people. I love to be around them. I, I, but no. I am not sexually attracted to young boys," Sandusky responded.

But in court, where prosecutors played only audio clips and not the video in its entirety, part of that segment was cut and repeated.

Being a board member of The Second Mile labeled by a prosecutor in the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse trial as a “victim factory” strikes a nerve with state Sen. Jake Corman.

“The whole thing is just so disturbing and so tragic,” Corman, R-Centre County, said in an interview with The Patriot-News Editorial Board on Wednesday. “As the father of two boys, to think that kids went through that, who were going to a place looking for help, it’s tough. It’s tough to imagine.”

The Second Mile, a State College-based charity established in 1977 by Sandusky to help at-risk children, is transferring all of its active programs and $2 million in cash to Texas-based Arrow Child & Family Ministries, which has pledged to continue its youth-oriented programming.

Janitor Jim Calhoun, former PSU employee, had statements admitted into court he purportedly made in 2000 to janitor and witness Ronald Petrosky. Calhoun suffers from dementia. However, Petrosky saw a portion of what he said Calhoun stated he had witnessed.

Thank you for your kind words. Sometimes cases are just too evil to comment on. This man portrayed himself like a saint and gained everyones trust. He picked on the vulnerable and he certainly will rot somewhere one day. He is beyond evil. The smirk on his face makes it all the worse. I only wish there was a way to convict his wife.

It leads me to also believe that he only adopted those children to torture them as well with his sick repulsive desires. I'm sure they know first hand the torture that he put those other boys through.

As told by two of the accusers, Victim 5 and Victim 7, the progression from introduction to molestation was strikingly similar to the earlier testimony of other alleged victims. It was almost as if only the names and personal circumstances had changed.

There were the introductions at camps run by The Second Mile, the youth charity Sandusky founded.

There were follow-up calls and invitations from Sandusky.

“My home life ... we didn’t go out and do a whole lot,” Victim 7 said. “I wasn’t exposed to a whole lot. So going to the [Penn State] games was very, very special to me.”

And then, the victims said, they were singled out for individual attention.

BELLEFONTE — Testimony has resumed this morning in Jerry Sandusky's fast-moving child-sex abuse trial, and the prosecution could wrap up its case by tomorrow.

Today is the fourth day of testimony. Jurors have already heard from five of the former Penn State assistant football coach's accusers. Three more are expected to testify. Authorities say they don't know the identities of two other alleged victims.

9:20 a.m. - Court is now in session. Updates will be added at the break.

9:10 a.m. - Prosecutors and defense attorneys arrive in courtroom.

Thank you for your kind words. Sometimes cases are just too evil to comment on. This man portrayed himself like a saint and gained everyones trust. He picked on the vulnerable and he certainly will rot somewhere one day. He is beyond evil. The smirk on his face makes it all the worse. I only wish there was a way to convict his wife.

It leads me to also believe that he only adopted those children to torture them as well with his sick repulsive desires. I'm sure they know first hand the torture that he put those other boys through.

I agree that he is evil and presented himself differently to gain trust. I think part of that was adopting the 6 kids with his wife - mostly boys. He very likely did not do anything to his adopted kids, they were props for his scam, he could show the world what a wonderful, caring husband & father he was, show the world how much he enjoyed being around children and appear very kind hearted & loving. While he may have lusted after his sons, to cross the line to pedophelia with them would have been very risky, they all lived in the same house, and it would have been exposed. But by using his own family as a 'prop' in his deception, he gained trust of other boys & their families "see how wonderful I am? I have 5 adopted sons who adore me & a lovely wife & adopted daugher who think the world of me!" I would tend to trust someone like that, would probably let me kids be around him, too. He made himself appear to have a 'heart of gold' - just what he intended - so he could victimize young boys and manipulate his community to be on his side if there was ever an accusation of impropriety. Just my take on the adopted family situation...

Theo Fleury, former NHL player with the Calgary Flames, is on IS, talking about his years of sexual abuse at the hands of his coach. His story absolutely kills me. He was molested by his hockey coach, who held all the power over him.

He was 14-16 when the abuse occured.

so, I've been thinking about this "code of silence" that is so pervasive and is definately a "player." It took one Mom to remove the scab.

*sigh* The defense is making more headway.

I am worried Sandusky is going to get off. Especially since there is no victims advocate to explain things to the jury. Grrrrr.....
