I agree, Tess. It is a perfect example of how not to conduct an investigation, how not to conduct an autopsy and medical examination in general, how not to prosecute, how not to sit on the bench.

I am ashamed of these incompetent people, making a mockery of the justice system and themselves. At this point, it is quite irrelevant for me if Adam's wife was murdered and if he was guilty of that. So poor an investigation should not be the way to do it.

In anyway, LE can conduct incomplete investigation and fill their own blanks by claims and hope they would stick.

The checks and balances on an investigation and whether to prosecute or not have failed so much that at least the judge should have put an end to the circus. Alas, she adds to it and it is scary on so many levels.

I am still outraged. I just hope that jury sees that reasonable doubt comes from lack of reasonable information to reach a healthy and reliable conclusion. I hope that this is not another case of a jury that lacks common sense or ability to follow an argument.

b2b I think VP is paying Devils Advocate. Can't have everyone agreeing that the states case is a mess. Doesn't make for good TV if there isn't any conflict.

I am on another board, on there a majority of the people think Adam is guilty to the bone marrow. They think the tapes were bombshell material...trying to come up with ways she died....not mourning....

I don't know..but I thought it was interesting because many of us thought it was a big nothing. I guess it depends on what you want to see

Bombshells? I certainly didn't see/hear anything that I would call a bombshell. Like thinkers seem to gravitate to each other, so who knows?

I don't see anything wrong with Adam specualting on how she died. I think that is only natural.

I agree with you. They also thought the Dr. was a winner for the pros. I didn't see that either. If anything, he was neutral. I think Milian made a great point with the fact that the state never showed him the amended report.

I realize the injuries on her neck are an issue, but I couldn't say beyond reasonable doubt that this man strangled her. There are way too many problems with that conclusion for me.

I have to wonder though, what it would be like to be on a jury with the other folks who are just as passionate that he is guilty.

I am thinking we would have a hung jury.

I didn't think it was a bombshell. :/ I think it's normal to speculate, especially if you're innocent and um, it's not like the state played every single second of the jailhouse convos. I mean they even edited out a 30 minute portion, so maybe he was mourning but that didn't help the state's case?

I just don't see a bombshell. If there is manslaughter, I can see AK being convicted of that but I'm still leaning towards NG or a hung jury. There's no way he's gonna be convicted of 2nd degree.

Also, this was in 2009 I believe. So that was about 2 years after she died. Because the State took sooo looong to come to the conclusion of homicide, Adam had been living with life after Lina for some time. So the acute mourning period really was over. He has to be Mom and Dad for his kids and work and just live normal life.

On IS AK's Uncle was talking to VP and his uncle stated Adam was given a lie detector test and passed. I didn't know that.

I was looking at other sites as well and Tess is right there are a lot of people who believe AK is guilty as sin.

IA, tesstruhart. I just don't see how speculating on how she died is horrible or bombshell material. I mean the speccing goes both ways. If you're innocent, wouldn't you be trying to figure out what happened? It doesn't just mean he's trying to throw everyone off. It could mean that obviously but it could be he was honestly trying to figure it out and he's innocent. I just didn't see a bombshell.

Angie, I don't think there is any info that is out there that everyone doesn't have equal access to. I just meant that there are things that are not admitted, that unless you are in deep investigative mode for this case, you wouldn't know about.

On the other board, there is a person that purports to be a friend of Adam and Lina. She is leaning toward guilty. She wasn't in the beginning but is now. Just how true or how close he/she is , I don't know

she needs a more modern mouse, especially if she is going to mike up the mouse

lina died in 2007 tapes 2009 after 18 months......old calls well after linas death n burial.

ps--- the judge said it all one day - she said - wife dead - adam in house at the time of her death...

to some closed minded people this equals homicide no matter what....

Did I hear that the defense attorney..the tall one.. is going to be a judge after this case? If so, I wonder about his arguments to this judge, you would think he has some points to make. According to her...not so much.

Yup, that's what I read. And this judge is just horrible.

yes idetical bald spots in 2 diff areas

you can tell the difference = seth has a chicken pock - pock mark on the side of his left nose and adam has no marks.

stark, I heard it last week, he not only took, BUT P A S S E D!

It's hard for me to understand why they bothered trying this case, surely they had a good idea of the shoddy investigation & evidence not tested in addition to the passed poly.
