OPP issue Amber Alert for 13-year-old girl from near Peterborough

DOURO-DUMMER TOWNSHIP, Ont. - Ontario Provincial Police issued an Amber Alert Sunday for a 13-year-old girl from Douro-Dummer Township, near Peterborough.

Police say Victoria Larabie was reported missing just before 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning and were worried someone may be holding her against her will.

PETERBOROUGH, ONT. - A 13-year-old Peterborough-area girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert Sunday morning was found "safe and sound" several hours later in Oshawa, Ont.

Ontario Provincial Police had issued the provincewide Amber Alert for Victoria Larabie, who they said was picked up by an “unknown person” in an SUV outside her grandmother’s Norwood, Ont., home at about 11:20 a.m. Sunday.
