Hearing in Leah Freeman murder case set back a few days

COQUILLE, ORE - A status hearing in the murder case against Nick McGuffin has been moved later in the week, from October 11th to October 14th. It will be in Judge Richard Barron's courtroom at 1:00 p.m.
It had originally been set for 1:30 p.m. on Monday, but was moved back to Thursday. KCBY was told by the Judge Barron's Office that the request had been made by the Prosecutor.
We tried to contact District Attorney Paul Frasier to find out why he made that request, but he was out of town on Friday and we were unable to reach him.
