Defense Wants Testimony, Evidence Kept Out Of Trial

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A hearing is set for Friday to determine whether a jury should hear that a heart sticker was placed on a piece of duct tape found on Caylee Anthony's skull.

Casey Anthony's defense team wants to prevent that information from reaching trial. They argue there is no credible evidence that any heart sticker was ever on the duct tape.

Isn't it weird that all during his expounding Baez looks as though he is about to bust out laughing...He smiles almost as much as Casey...It all seems like a joke to him...I'm glad Judge Perry reprimanded him earlier...

Baez is arguing that the dogs failed to alert on Suburban Drive where Caylee's remains were found. I guess he will expect the court to disregard the fact that Caylee's remains were in the woods underwater.

I didn't know that anyone's dogs got that close to where Caylee's remains were.

Baez argued this morning that the garbage in the trunk was wet and made the stain-gimme a break!

I had also heard, at one time or another, that George said the stain was pre-existing from when Lee had the car...

I don't remember hearing about the cadaver dogs being that close. If anyone can find a link to discovery or an article discussing this, please share. Bozo is probably making stuff up.

Yeah, I remember that. I also remember that he told the investigators about that "basketball sized" stain of which he put his nose right up to!

Let the defense have the pre-existing stain comment, the state will trump it with their LE interview!

Didn't the physic's dogs hit in that vacinity, but they couldn't go in because of the water? Bozo is all about the physic since he spent time on the phone with one, so he says. He should take her word that her dogs hit in that area.

Yup! Gail St. John had her dogs there but she only let one dog out to do its business and because it was getting sick. They didn't quite make it to the exact spot but St. John did recall that her dog did go a bit crazy so she put him back in the car. I remember that being an odd thing to do to a cadaver dog that may be alerting. She also said that there was too much water in the area to go into the woods.

No Rulings Made In Casey Anthony Hearing

A hearing in the case against Casey Anthony wrapped up early Friday afternoon. Casey and her defense team continued their fight to have crucial evidence tossed out of the case. They made arguments on several items, including a stain found in the trunk of Casey's car, cadaver dogs and chloroform, but no rulings were made.
