HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) - Investigators have given THV 11 News an update about the investigation into Dawna Natzke's murder.

Lt. James "Corky" Martin with the Garland County Sheriff's Department said Natzke's case is still active and ongoing. The investigation, being conducted by the Garland County Sheriff's Department and Arkansas State Police, has turned up numerous leads, but unfortunately most of them have been exhausted.

The 46-year-old Hot Springs Village dispatcher's body was found by a volunteer searcher Dec. 31. She was last seen Dec. 21 leaving a Christmas party with her boyfriend, Kevin Duck.

Duck said he went to bed around 11 p.m. that night, while she stayed up watching TV, but when he woke up the next morning Natzke and her car were gone. The next day her car was discovered in a remote area of the Ouachita National Forest. The vehicle had been burned.

Kevin Duck . . . if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's a duck! I do not believe for one second that Natzke and her car disappeared like Kevin would like for us to believe. Ah, come on Kevin . . . you are the only suspect!

Hope that LE and the Prosecutor(s) can make a case and eventually some one will be arrested for the murder of Dawna.

A popular politician, husband and father is found dead in the exclusive resort community of Saint Simons, Georgia. County Commissioner Tom Sublett’s body was found floating in the water near a dock by a local boat club. The coroner tells Jane Velez-Mitchell that Sublett was shot with a 9MM handgun before his body was dumped in the water.

'Dating Game' Killer Rodney Alcala Pleads Guilty to Two NYC Murders

" NEW YORK CITY — Convicted California serial killer and onetime "Dating Game" contestant Rodney Alcala has pleaded guilty to murdering two New York women in the 1970s, Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. announced Friday.

Alcala, 69, was serving time in California on separate murder charges, but he was brought to New York in June after investigators reopened the murder cases of Cornelia Crilley and Ellen Hover and determined Alcala was the most likely suspect."

The documents also show that Schnagl, while giving different accounts of the circumstances of Jelinek's disappearance, acknowledged having a physical altercation with Jelinek before she was reported missing, "but ... only smacked her in the face with an open hand."

One of the searches also turned up a blood-stained paper towel, paper towels apparently soaked in bleach and several bloodstains that were removed from Schnagl's home in the 11200 block of 261st St., in a small, rural subdivision. Two reddish stains were also found in the cargo area of Schnagl's sport-utility vehicle, which was found in a ditch near the house.

There are also reports that she had previously been chocked by him... as well as pictures of her with cuts and bruises that were caused by Schnagl.

and he wants everyone to believe she left with no shoes, purse or cell phone??? not to mention leaving her car!!

KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine —The Kennebunkport Police Department says it is asking for the public's help in finding two men who were last seen on Thursday.

According to police, 21-year-old Zachary Wells and 23-year-old Prescott Wright were last seen at 5 Mills Road in Kennebunkport around midnight Thursday.

According to Kennebunkport police chief Craig Sanford, Wells and Wright were last seen hanging out with friends at the home.

Sanford said it is not known when or how the men left the home. Authorities assume they left together. Both men may have been intoxicated when they were last seen.

KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine — The town’s police chief expressed frustration at the lack of leads as the search for two missing boat school students continued Sunday.

Police Chief Craig Sanford said Maine Marine Patrol is searching the waters, officers are searching on foot and a Maine Warden Service plane is conducting flyovers in the search for Zachary Wells, 21, and Prescott Wright, 23. Both students of The Landing School in Arundel, Maine, they were last seen at 5 Mills Road in Kennebunkport on Dec. 20 around midnight.

Missing Yacht School Friends: Police Find Clothing on Small Island

Clothing items believed to belong to two missing yacht school friends were found on the rocks of a small island off the coast of Maine, Kennebunkport police said today.

Zachary Wells, 21, and Prescott Wright, 23, were last seen hanging out at a home in the seaside community on Thursday, police chief Craig Sanford said.

The disappearance of the two friends baffled authorities, who have searched by air, water and in wooded areas for the men.

Yacht Friends Missing: Police Continue Search for Zachary Wells & Prescott Wright in Kennebunkport, Maine

Two friends who study yacht design are missing and authorities are looking for traces of them.

Zachary Wells, 21, and Prescott Wright, 23, were last seen drinking a beer with some friend at Well' home in Kennebunkport, Maine. Both Wells and Wright attend The Landing School where they study boat building and yacht design, according to ABC.

It seems that both men left the home together but it is not known when or how. Only one of them owns a car and it remains in the driveway.

Police spent all weekend looking for a trace of the men. As of Monday, their clothing was found on an island near Kennebunkport.

Police are continuing to do flyovers of the area at low tide where the clothing was found.

Police have been left baffled after two friends mysteriously vanished without a trace following a small party at one of their homes five days ago.

Zachary Wells, 21, and Prescott Wright, 23, were last seen drinking beer at Wells' home in Kennebunkport, Maine around midnight on Wednesday.

Last seen: Friends saw the two men at midnight on Wednesday at Wells' home, pictured, but when one of his roommates awoke at 4am and went downstairs to turn off a radio, they were gone

Authorities found no signs of a disturbance at the home. One of the men owns a vehicle but it remained parked in the driveway of the house. Witnesses said the men appeared drunk.

Robert DeColfmacker, president of the Landing School, told the Portland Press Herald that Wells' roommates said the two men had left their cellphones and wallets at the home.

In the private hell of a mother's grief, the sounds come back to Judy Neiman. The SUV door slamming. The slight bump as she backed up in the bank parking lot. The emergency room doctor's sobs as he said her 9-year-old daughter Sydnee, who previously had survived four open heart surgeries, would not make it this time.

The 53-year-old woman has sentenced herself to go on living in the awful stillness of her West Richland, Wash., home, where she makes a plea for what she wants since she can't have Sydnee back: More steps taken by the government and automakers to help prevent parents from accidentally killing their children, as she did a year ago this month.

"They have to do something, because I've read about it happening to other people. I read about it and I said, 'I would die if it happens to me,'" Neiman says. "Then it did happen to me."

There is, in fact, a law in place that calls for new manufacturing requirements to improve the visibility behind passenger vehicles to help prevent such fatal backing crashes, which the government estimates kill some 228 people every year — 110 of them children age 10 and under — and injures another 17,000.

Congress passed the measure with strong bipartisan backing, and Republican President George W. Bush signed it in 2008.

But almost five years later, the standards have yet to be mandated because of delays by the U.S. Department of Transportation, which faced a Feb. 28, 2011, deadline to issue the new guidelines for car manufacturers. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood has pushed back that deadline three times — promising in February that the rules would be issued by year's end.

" MANHEIM, Pa. (AP) — A man suffocated his 17-year-old girlfriend by sitting on her head after he intentionally drove into a guardrail at about 100 miles per hour in the middle of the night, authorities said.
Police filed homicide and other charges Friday against 19-year-old Benjamin Daniel Klinger for the Dec. 4 death of Sammi Heller on an interstate near Manheim, in south-central Pennsylvania. Klinger is accused of crashing on purpose, then killing Heller by sitting on her until she asphyxiated.
"At first glance, this appeared to be simply another tragic vehicle accident," Lancaster County District Attorney Craig Stedman told the Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era. WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The Wilmington Police Department is assisting officers with Leland PD Thursday to find two missing teenagers.

Sixteen-year-old Aynton Clemmons, of Leland, and 14-year-old Kelsey Harmon, of Wilmington, were last seen early Thursday morning, according to a news release.

It's believed that Clemmons took his parents' car without permission. He does not have a valid driver's license, only a learner's permit.

The car is described as a 1991 Honda Accord station wagon with a distinct fish stick on the back. The license plate reads AKR-9362.

The teens' parents worry their children have left the area, because their cell phones are off, according to the release.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Wilmington Police Department (910-343-3600), or the closest local law enforcement agency.

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Law enforcement authorities confirmed Saturday that one of two missing teenagers has been found.

Sixteen-year-old Aynton Clemmons, of Leland, and 14-year-old Kelsey Harmon, of Wilmington, were originally last seen early Thursday morning, according to a news release. However, as of Saturday, authorities confirmed that Harmon is no longer missing.

WPD officials were notified by Kill Devil Hills Police that she had been found.

Clemmons' father called the WECT newsroom and said that his son has been found, but police haven't been able to confirm that yet.

Police search for missing teen from Hartford

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - State police have issued a silver alert for a missing teen from Hartford.

Officials said Linda Dejesus, 14, was last seen Friday in the area of Franklin Avenue.

According to police, Dejesus may have been headed to the area of 23 Bond Street when she went missing.

She was wearing a tan sweater and gray pants.

Police said Dejesus has brown hair and brown eyes. She stands about 5'4'' and weighs about 125 lbs.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is being asked to call state police.

ATLANTA -- Police said two young boys from Georgia who were reported missing this week were found safe in Texas on Saturday and their father is in custody and facing charges.

Brothers Ben and Henry Cleary – ages 9 and 7 – were visiting with their father, Daniel Cleary, of Roswell, and were supposed to return home Wednesday. An Amber Alert was issued Thursday

She told FOX 5 Atlanta they were "battling each other on their IPads and planning Henry's birthday party."

Family Searching for Missing Man in Milwaukee

Nick Wilcox, 24, disappeared early New Year's Day in downtown MIlwaukee while out with his girlfriend.

Family and friends are searching for a 24-year-old man who disappeared while out with his girlfriend ringing in the New Year in downtown Milwaukee.

Nick Wilcox was last seen between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Tuesday outside the Irish Rec Room on Old World Third Street in downtown Milwaukee. Wilcox is 6-feet 2-inches tall and about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark grey shirt, dark jeans and black shoes. If anyone has information about his whereabouts, they are asked to call the Milwaukee Police Department at 414-935-7403.

Wilcox’s girlfriend told Fox 6 Wilcox was seen by a bouncer leaving the bar with a man in a red shirt. Family and friends have been searching along the nearby river for Wilcox.

His girlfriend didn't go after him because she said she was upset that he had had too much to drink, but began to worry when she hadn't heard from him by 4 a.m.

"The bouncers said they saw a video of him walking through the alleyway, so we're trying to retrace his steps, thinking of maybe his thought process, where he would want to go or what he would try to do," said Nick Vetta, who was with Wilcox that night.

Police said they have been asked by his family to assist in the search.

Milwaukee police search for 24-year-old missing man

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are searching for 24-year-old Nick Wilcox who was last seen outside the Irish Rec Room on Old World 3rd St. early Tuesday morning, January 1st. Wilcox was out celebrating on New Year’s Eve with friends, when he reportedly left the bar with a man in a red shirt.

According to Wilcox’s girlfriend, Wilcox was apparently kicked out of the bar after a long night of drinking.

“I watched him get carried out by the bouncers and that was the last I saw of him. He spoke with a few police officers outside the Irish Rec Room and was seen leaving with someone we had met there,” Kelly McGonagil said.

Emma Fillipoff, 26, has been missing since Nov. 28. Those who know Emma in Victoria believe that at the time of her disappearance she was in danger of taking her own life, but her mother has searched on, combing the city for even the smallest clue.

OZAUKEE CO. — The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office is asking all residents living adjacent to Cedar Creek to check their property for signs of Robert Steinbrecker. The 24-year-old man went missing in Cedarburg around 2 a.m. on Thursday, December 27th.

Steinbrecker was last seen at Cedar Creek near Boy Scout Park in Cedarburg. He was walking with two friends towards his residence in the Town of Cedarburg. He apparently ran away from them for an unknown reason.

Steinbrecker is described as a male, white, about six feet tall, with red, shoulder-length hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark-green, heavy parka-like jacket, a Packers knit hat, black tennis shoes, an off-white button-up shirt with a black t-shirt underneath, and brown pants.

CEDARBURG — Authorities continue to search for 24-year-old Robert Steinbrecker, who has been missing since December 27th.

Ozaukee County Undersheriff Jim Johnson says on the night of December 27th, Steinbrecker left Maxwell’s Pub around 2:00 a.m. and he and a few friends were headed north, walking on the ice on Cedar Creek.

Johnson says Steinbrecker decided to run up ahead of his friends, and they lost sight of him around a curve.

However, Johnson says Steinbrecker’s friends were able to make phone contact around 2:40 a.m., but described the conversation as confused.

“He wasn’t exactly sure where he was. They were trying to meet on Sheboygan Road, but they never met up,” Johnson said.

CEDARBURG, Wis. — It has been confirmed that the body found in Cedar Creek late Friday afternoon is Robert Steinbrecker, 24, according to the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office.

Crews began arriving there shortly after 9 a.m., when a passerby reported seeing a hat on the ice of Cedar Creek in Cedarburg.

It was about a mile downstream from where Steinbrecker, 24, was last seen alive. Friends said he ran off on the creek's ice in the early morning hours of Dec. 27.

What began as a visual search of the area expanded throughout the course of the day, as the dive teams from the Cedarburg and Grafton fire departments used every resource, hoping to find Steinbrecker's body.

ABC News reports that Alyssa Byrne has been missing since New Year's Eve when she left Snow Globe, a three-day music festival in South Lake Tahoe, Nev.

UPDATE: Byrne was found dead on Friday, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. Original story continues below

Investigators said the phone was used after the 19-year-old disappeared, but they don't know if it was Byrne or someone else who used it.

There's a ticking time-bomb quality to the story of Kayla Bourque, the 23-year-old former university student whose release from jail this week prompted a rare public warning from authorities.

Where is a solid rehab program with possibility of recall for additional services? Wonder what her college major was.

@Freckles this is Canada ankle monitors are very difficult to get in place... wouldn't want to infringe on the rights of those criminals... they are used very seldomly...if you mess with the money i.e.: welfare fraud... or a repeat child molester.. and a very few other cases... We had one client that it was very necessary to have a monitor on and it took 5 years to get the approval.

The Utah Department of Public Safety on Wednesday issued an endangered person advisory for a 13-year-old Herriman girl who disappeared from her home overnight.

Brooklyn Gittins, is described as 5 feet tall, 110 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing black pajama pants printed with white scotty dogs and a gray T-shirt. She has no coat, no shoes and very poor eyesight. She does not have her glasses, according to the advisory.

"Some things aren’t adding up," said Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal.

Herriman • As a storm bore down on the community where a 13-year-old girl vanished close to 48 hours before, hundreds of emergency officials and community volunteers converged Thursday on Herriman in an increasingly desperate scramble to find Brooklyn Gittins.

Salt Lake County Sheriff Jim Winder said that after two days of scouring Herriman and the surrounding areas, searchers hadn’t been able to turn up any sign of Gittins. Officials decided to call off the search parties and to move to more "specialized" searches involving police dogs, mounted search parties and air support.

Winder said with the help of more than 1,000 people volunteering in the search so far, the 17-square-mile area had been combed through thoroughly.

"The entire area of Herriman City proper has been searched and doubled," Winder said in a press conference Thursday evening.

Missing 13-Year-Old Utah Girl Found Unharmed

(SALT LAKE CITY) — A 13-year-old girl whose disappearance this week without shoes or a coat in the chilly Salt Lake City area caused widespread concern was found unharmed, police said early Friday.

Brooklyn Gittins telephoned her grandmother late Thursday night from a Wal-Mart store in South Jordan, Unified Police spokesman Lt. Justin Hoyal said. The woman then contacted police and officers located the child.

“Brooklyn was not injured and is fine,” Hoyal said. “She was still wearing the grey T-shirt and black pajama pants. She did not have on shoes, a coat.”

19 years later, missing Indiana boy found as married man in Minnesota

In 2006, an 18-year-old Minnesota man legally changed his name to Michael Jeff Landers. Six years later, authorities determined Landers was really the Indiana child who had been abducted by his paternal grandparents in 1994.

Richard Wayne Landers Jr., was reportedly abducted when he was 5 years old. The 24-year-old Michael Landers now lives in the small central Minnesota town of Browerville, the Todd County Sheriff's Office said Friday.
