A few days later, 17-year-old De’Marquis Elkins and his 15-year-old alleged accomplice Dominique Lang, were arrested for the crime and charged with murder. Their trail is set for August. "

Six-year-old Macey Stewart was kidnapped from the front of her home, only to be located several hours later seven miles away in an "injured" state. Her father believes that she was sexually assaulted by the man who has been arrested and charged in her kidnapping --30-year-old Zach Dunn.

These stories make me so conflicted... I am happy she was found alive... but saddened and horrified at what she has endured and will have to somehow recover from!

Boy, 14, found crawling on street after his mother broke his feet with hammer

" ... Elizabeth Alberty, 59, of Oklahoma, was arrested after she allegedly used a hammer to punish her 14-year-old son.

According to Oklahoma City Police, officers were dispatched to a residence at 4:00 pm after a man found a 14-year-old boy crawling on his hands and knees near his home...."

Both? Numbers seem odd.

 Freckles the numbers don't seem to balance... but looking at the video seems like a fairly standard string of busts for prostitution... not saying that they are not missing or exploited ... just that listening the girls seem to be participating, they may in fact have been runaways that have been coerced into thinking that this was the way to make big$$. It is disgusting that so many young women end up exploited when trying to leave a life they were unhappy in only to find themselves in something much worse. When I was much younger and during my wild and drinking days I knew a few girls that were strippers (I did not) they ended up as heavy drug users to be able to face themselves for the choices they made... all very sad!

Judge states def abused the victims in the presence of his young dau;while it is possible def was abused, there are some who do act out but more move on to not harm others; def answered questions and understands what was going on; def made choices; borders on anti-social behavior, narcissistic; judge stated def broke his wife's nose, broke her teeth but never reported it; no one is allowed to have this violence in the home, at school or work place; def had resources available to him and could have contacted them for help with whatever problems he thought he had; rape, torture, kidnapping are not acceptable; judge said def's work performance was not as good as he thought--- he left a child on the bus and went shopping; he was terminated;

 The Judge stopped reading the sentences because "you can only die in jail once" and he had gotten to Life plus 1000 years, He forfeits the house and has a fine of $100000 and court costs. And several other fines and judgements. I look forward to seeing all this in print... Seems like a huge win. Also a no contact order with his victims!!

Restraining Order Filed Against Rocker Jack White

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The estranged wife of rocker Jack White has filed a restraining order against him after she said in their divorce filings he was threatening her and she fears for her safety and her children's.

British model and singer Karen Elson married White in 2005 in Nashville and they have two children. They separated in 2011 and Elson filed for divorce last year.

Elson filed for a temporary restraining order July 17. It was approved by a judge pending a court hearing on August 29. The order was first reported by the Nashville City Paper.

For some reason I always thought that mother was lying. She just didn't seem to be a grieving mother, at least the way a grieving mother should be acting. She seemed more concerned about the bullet in her leg then her baby being killed. I hope these two teenagers have a good lawyer or they just may go to jail for something the mother did.

Her story dosen't sit well with me either. I have wondered if she enjoy's the attention she get's when a loved one passes on as she had a much older son who pass away at some point, I can't remember when though. Then I also doubt two young people just wanting to rob her would even think to shoot and kill a baby in the face no less (that kind of shot sound's personal to me) and just shot her in the leg? No. I think she's liar plain and simple.

This story got to me. I found the mothers story rotten from day one. But when I heard they had made an arrest, I was set back a bit. I would love to know if these teenagers have confessed to doing this or not.

Something just tells me that the mother was completely involved. The real bad part is if they put these two young men on trial, whether they are found innocent or guilty, there will never be charges brought against the mother. The only way the mother can become a suspect is if those charges are dropped against those young boys. Then she will get away with murder.

UPDATE: Missing Nelson County Teen's Car Found

UPDATE: Police have located Alexis Murphy's missing car. It was found in northern Albemarle County at Carmike Cinemas.

Sheriff David Brooks confirms the 2003 white Nissan Maxima was found in a parking lot at the theater, but there is still no word on where Murphy is.

Murphy, 17, left her home in Shipman Saturday night. Brooks says they have surveillance video of Murphy from the Liberty gas station in Lovingston. It's the last time she was seen.

Investigators have expanded the search radius around Lovingston by 30 miles. They're looking for more surveillance video.

The sheriff says they're focusing on the Route 29 area with some 50 people on the ground and a chopper in the air.

FBI takes the lead in search for Shipman girl (with video)

The Nelson County teen was last seen on Saturday. Her car was located at a movie theater Tuesday.

Despite some similarities in the cases, investigators say there is no current information tying the disappearance of a Nelson County girl to the death of Roanoke County college student Morgan Harrington.

Alexis Tiara Murphy, 17, of Shipman was last seen Saturday when she left in her car, planning to get hair extensions for her senior portrait, her family has said.

On Tuesday evening, FBI agents, Albemarle County police and Nelson County sheriff's deputies surrounded a white Nissan Maxima with license plates that matched Murphy's car.

Newly released surveillance video show the man police think might be behind the brutal stabbing of a teenager in Queens. She's expected to survive, but her family and neighbors are shaken. Rob Schmitt reports. (Video at link)

Police have a man in custody who is suspected of attacking a 17-year-old girl from behind and stabbed her 10 times as she walked home from her job at a Queens McDonald's, NBC 4 New York has learned.

The teen, identified by relatives as Natasha Martinez, was stabbed at about 11:30 p.m. outside her Woodhaven home a week ago.

Law enforcement sources tell NBC 4 New York that the man was being questioned on Monday and that charges were pending.

The girl was stabbed so violently she lost a kidney and was in surgery for three hours, her mother said.

Police have released photos of a man suspected of stabbing Natasha Martinez

Police have released photos of a man suspected of stabbing of a 17-year-old Queens girl, authorities said.

New surveillance photos show what cops believe is the suspected knifeman fleeing the scene shortly after Natasha Martinez was stabbed eleven times as she was walking home from work at around 11:30 p.m. July 29, police said.

Martinez was attacked just steps from her Woodhaven home.

The new photos come just one day after police questioned an alleged member of the Latin Kings gang for his involvement in the crime. That man was released hours later and no charges were filed, cops said.

Parents Charged In Death Of 4-Year-Old Girl In Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – The parents of a 4-year-old girl who was beaten to death have been charged with her murder.

On July 12, Arianna Taylor was found dead inside a home on Dotsonville Road. The Medical Examiner said an autopsy revealed she died of multiple blunt force traumas.

After an investigation, her parents, Demarkus and Rawny Taylor, were charged with first degree felony murder, three counts of aggravated child abuse, and false reporting. Both of their bonds were set at $250,000.

The Leaf Chronicle said a source told them the child had been returned to her parents six months ago after spending three years in DCS custody. The child had reportedly been removed from the home due to a traumatic brain injury inflicted by a relative.

Florida murder suspect posts photo of wife's body on Facebook

SOUTH MIAMI, Fla. - August 9, 2013 (WPVI) -- The post to his Facebook friends was as chilling as the photograph that followed it.

"Im going to prison or death sentence for killing my wife love you guys, miss you guys takecare Facebook people you will see me in the news," said the Thursday morning post on Derek Medina's Facebook page.

The South Florida man then apparently posted a photo of his 26-year-old wife's body slumped on the floor and turned himself in to police, who late Thursday charged the property management supervisor with first-degree murder.

Miami-Dade police said the 31-year-old Medina turned himself in to police after Jennifer Alfonso was fatally shot inside the couple's home in South Miami, a suburb of Miami. When officers responded to the home, they found Alfonso's body, as well as her 10-year-old daughter, who was unharmed.

A Jefferson Circuit Court jury on Friday found 17-year-old Joshua Young not guilty of brutally beating to death his 14-year-old stepbrother, Trey Zwicker, in May 2011.

The jury of eight women and four men deliberated about nine hours before returning the not guilty verdict on a charge of complicity to murder and not guilty on one count of tampering with physical evidence.

Shortly after reading the verdict, Judge Barry Willett said the case was dismissed and that Young would be released from custody. Young’s attorney said he was hopeful Young would be released tonight to the temporary custody of a foster family.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —The jury has returned a not guilty verdict in the Josh Young murder trial.

Young was acquitted on charges of murder and tampering with physical evidence.

Closing arguments in Young's case ended just before 11:30 a.m. and returned with a verdict around 8:15 p.m.

After the verdict was read, Young turned and smiled at his foster family.

His attorney asked for a release form to be sent over.

The family of victim Trey Zwicker sobbed as they left the courtroom.

Attorneys in the Brunswick baby murder fight over defense discovery motion

BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- Attorneys in the Brunswick baby murder are battling in court over a defense motion for discovery.

Defense attorneys for De'Marquise Elkins filed a motion Monday, asking that the judge in the case allow evidence to be collected from storm drains and sewer lines as part of the proper search of a crime scene for evidence of firearms and spent shell casings.

Defense attorneys argue in the motion that baby Antonio Santiago's mother, Sherry West, is mentally unstable and gave inconsistent accounts of how the murder of her 1-year-old happened. Elkins' attorneys say West had a financial interest in the death of her son due to an insurance policy.

Defense attorneys say the crime scene investigation was conducted incorrectly; specifically where the child was found by the first responders rather than the nearby location around the corner where West says the shooting actually took place.

(CNN) -- Two men have been taken into police custody in connection with the kidnapping of a 2-year-old boy and a double homicide in Rhode Island, Johnston Police Deputy Chief Daniel Parrillo said Sunday.

The toddler was not with either men when police apprehended them, and police are actively searching for 2-year-old Isaih Perez, Parrillo said.

Authorities said earlier Sunday they believe Malcolm Crowell, 22, fled the scene of the homicide in Johnston, taking Isaih with him.

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- A two-year-old child from Johnston is still missing nearly three hours after police issued an Amber Alert.

A Massachusetts State Police spokesman originally indicated Crowell was arrested in Fall River, but later said the suspect taken into custody is not believed to be involved in the abduction.

Perez's whereabouts were still unknown at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Officers say the homicides occurred at 3 Oaktree Drive at about 5:20 a.m.

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- Police are investigating a double homicide that took place early Sunday morning.

Police say two people were found dead at 3 Oaktree Drive Sunday around 5:20 a.m.

A few hours later, around 12:30 p.m., a spokesman for the Massachusetts State Police Department indicated Crowell had been arrested in Fall River.

Rhode Island State Police Col. Steven O'Donnell confirmed Crowell was taken into custody, but would not say whether he is a suspect in the abduction or in the double homicide.

O'Donnell said the Amber Alert for two-year-old Isaiah Perez remains active.  The Amber Alert describes the missing child as hispanic, has brown hair, weighs 40 pounds and is three feet four inches tall.

Police Say RI Toddler Still Missing Despite Arrest

Police say a man arrested in connection with a nationwide Amber Alert for a missing 2-year-old in Rhode Island apparently isn't involved in the child's disappearance.

Rhode Island State Police issued the Amber Alert for 2-year-old Isaiah Perez early Sunday after two bodies were discovered at a Johnston home. Police said then they were looking for 22-year-old Malcolm Crowell in connection with the double homicide and kidnapping.

Massachusetts State Police spokesman Dave Procopio said Crowell was captured in Fall River on Sunday afternoon, but Isaiah remained missing. He later backtracked and would only say he was told the man in custody wasn't involved in the child's disappearance. He wouldn't confirm it was Crowell.

Police say they have arrested two men in a double homicide and the abduction of a 2-year-old boy from a Rhode Island home. The child, Isaiah Perez, remained missing Sunday evening.

Johnston Deputy Police Chief Daniel Parrillo said authorities are searching for the boy "any place and every place." The boy was found missing early Sunday from a Johnston residence when the two bodies were found.

Missing 2-year-old found wandering alone in Rhode Island

Another dramatic Amber Alert resulted in the successful rescue of a 2-year-old boy Sunday who had vanished after an apparent double homicide.

Isaiah Perez was found wandering the streets of Providence, R.I., police said. The boy had been missing since the early Sunday discovery of two bodies in Johnston, R.I.

It's not clear what the unidentified victims' relationship to Isaiah had been. In an Amber Alert, police said they suspected an abductor had fled the home with the child.

UPDATE: Police have located Alexis Murphy's missing car. It was found in northern Albemarle County at Carmike Cinemas.

Sheriff David Brooks confirms the 2003 white Nissan Maxima was found in a parking lot at the theater, but there is still no word on where Murphy is.

Murphy, 17, left her home in Shipman Saturday night. Brooks says they have surveillance video of Murphy from the Liberty gas station in Lovingston. It's the last time she was seen.

Investigators have expanded the search radius around Lovingston by 30 miles. They're looking for more surveillance video.

The sheriff says they're focusing on the Route 29 area with some 50 people on the ground and a chopper in the air.

FBI takes the lead in search for Shipman girl (with video)

Despite some similarities in the cases, investigators say there is no current information tying the disappearance of a Nelson County girl to the death of Roanoke County college student Morgan Harrington.

Alexis Tiara Murphy, 17, of Shipman was last seen Saturday when she left in her car, planning to get hair extensions for her senior portrait, her family has said.

On Tuesday evening, FBI agents, Albemarle County police and Nelson County sheriff's deputies surrounded a white Nissan Maxima with license plates that matched Murphy's car.

Randy Allen Taylor, 48, of the 10000 block of Thomas Nelson Highway in Lovingston, Virginia, was charged with abduction in the disappearance of Alexis Tiara Murphy.

Police and the FBI on Sunday evening announced an arrest in the disappearance of 17-year-old Alexis Tiara Murphy, a Nelson County girl who disappeared Aug. 3 on her way to Lynchburg.

Murphy apparently has not been found.

Randy Allen Taylor, 48, of the 10000 block of Thomas Nelson Highway in Lovingston, Virginia, was charged with abduction, FBI officials announced Monday. He is being held without bond.

The teenager’s car was found in a parking lot in the Charlottesville area on Aug. 6.

“This remains an ongoing investigation and law enforcement continues to request the public’s assistance as they show pictures and conduct interviews and searches,” the FBI release said.
