Sandra Coke a Federal Investigator was last seen Sunday night. She had told her daughter that she had received a call about their missing dog and would be back shortly. The daughter used the Findmyphone app and tracked her mother's phone. There has been an arrest, and a body has been found (not identified yet). Sandra was a single mother..
Note: for some reason I am not able to copy any of the story so just did a quick synopsis.

Nurse Suspected of Killing Up to 46 Kids to Get Out of Prison
http://abcnews.go.com/US/nurse-suspected-killing-46-kids-prison/story?id=19852141
A nurse convicted in 1984 of killing an infant and suspected of murdering dozens more will be released from prison without completing her 99 year sentence because of an expired Texas law that grants a "mandatory release" to inmates with good behavior.
On May 14, 1984 Genene Anne Jones, now 63, was sentenced for the murder of 15-month-old Chelsea McClellan in 1982 in a small-town pediatric clinic where Jones was a nurse.

WARWICK, R.I. — A man charged with killing his girlfriend and her adult daughter and then kidnapping her 2-year-old son was ordered held without bail Tuesday by a Rhode Island judge.
Daniel Rodriguez, 28, made his first court appearance in Kent District Court to face two counts of murder as well as burglary, kidnapping and gun charges. Judge Joseph T. Houlihan Jr. ordered that he be held without bail and set a bail hearing for Aug. 27.
Rodriguez is charged with fatally shooting 40-year-old Evelyn Burgos and 25-year-old Vanessa Perez in Johnston on Sunday and abducting Burgos' son, Isaiah Perez. Authorities issued an Amber Alert for the boy, who was later found wandering around a public housing complex alone in Providence. He was unharmed.

WARWICK, R.I. — A woman who was fatally shot at home over the weekend along with her adult daughter had sought a restraining order last month against the man now charged in their deaths, saying he had threatened to kill her and she was afraid for her life.
Evelyn Burgos filed for a restraining order against Daniel Rodriguez in Kent District Court in Warwick on July 26, describing him as her ex-boyfriend and saying he had been physically violent, records show.
Burgos, 40, wrote in an affidavit that she and Rodriguez got into an argument two months ago and "he told me he would kill me."

Teen gets probation for plot with boyfriend to kill parents
By Jeb Phillips
The Columbus Dispatch
Friday August 9, 2013 6:08 AM
Grace Dillman, left, and her boyfriend, Robert A. Best.
A Gahanna teenager who persuaded her boyfriend to try to kill her parents last year can avoid prison if she completes a court-ordered probation period that could last two years or longer.
The boyfriend, Robert A. Best, is serving an eight-year prison term for the attack.
Other terms of probation that Grace Dillman, now 17, must abide by were not made public because they involve “medical matters that are privileged,” said Bill Meeks, Dillman’s attorney.
Grace’s mother said in court that she appreciated Franklin County Juvenile Court Judge Dana S. Preisse’s “consideration of intense counseling instead of years of incarceration.”

W.Va. judge dismisses charges in torture case after wife denies allegations, won't cooperate
Published August 19, 2013 / Associated Press
RIPLEY, W.Va. – The case against a West Virginia man accused of torturing his wife has collapsed after a judge dismissed the charges.
Jackson County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Evans dismissed the charges Monday, in part because the woman denied the allegations and refused to cooperate with prosecutors.
About a year ago, Stephanie Lizon fled from her husband and domestic violence shelter workers said she told them she had been captive for nearly a decade. The shelter workers said she had been beaten, burned and even shackled. Her husband, Peter Lizon, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding and domestic battery.

W.Va. woman says prosecutors pushing abuse charges against her husband over her objections
By Associated Press, Published: JUNE 21, 4:40 PM ET
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A West Virginia woman whose husband is accused of torturing her for nearly a decade said Friday that authorities are pushing the case over her objections, and she claims their overzealous prosecution has resulted in her losing custody of her child and being forced to live in her car.
~Snipped~
The AP obtained an interview with Lizon after her comments were first reported Friday in The Charleston Gazette.
It was July 2, 2012, when Stephanie Lizon fled from her husband while at an equipment rental company, looking gaunt and limping while telling staff she was trying to get away from her husband, who was in a different part of the store. An employee at the shop gave Stephanie the number for a domestic violence shelter and cash for a cab ride there.
At the shelter, Stephanie Lizon told of being held captive for the better part of a decade — beaten, burned and even shackled during childbirth — by her husband, a native of the Czech Republic, according to a criminal complaint filed in the case.
The complaint said she had “mutilated and swollen” feet and said that her husband had smashed her foot with a piece of farm equipment. Dozens of photographs showed burns on her back and breasts from irons and frying pans and scars on her wrists and ankles.
The complaint also said she had delivered a fully developed, stillborn child while in shackles, and that her husband buried the corpse on their farm. Another child survived a similar delivery, but Stephanie Lizon said the child had never received medical attention.

Re: Developing Stories
This reminds me of an elderly man, John Trapp, who had a similar situation of being repeatedly robbed. So he set up a shotgun and wired it to the window of his rural farmhouse. The gun did go off when the crook climbed through the window to steal more stuff. The male was shot thru the leg... and successfully sued, bankrupting the elderly farmer. The law created was called the Trapp Law....
Kids brutally vandalize man's family home; Now he faces jail time
"....WHAM-TV has more about how the incident unfolded:
The incident unfolded around 9 p.m. Saturday when Jesse Daniels said he told his wife to call 911 after he heard loud noises coming from the home next door and saw an individual striking a wall with a hammer.

Body is found near Missouri town where 12-year-old girl disappeared
August 21
The Associated Press
Adriaunna Horton
GOLDEN CITY, Mo. — Searchers found a body Wednesday outside the southwest Missouri town where a 12-year-old girl disappeared two days earlier, but a positive identification could take up to 24 hours, the Missouri Highway Patrol said.
Adriaunna Horton of Golden City became the subject of a massive search after friends reported seeing her get into a vehicle Monday at a park where they had been playing. The driver, 34-year-old Bobby Bourne Jr. of Lamar, was alone when he was stopped about 90 minutes later and has since been charged with kidnapping.
Bourne was being held on $1 million bond in the Barton County jail. Adriaunna’s father, James Horton, has said that Bourne once worked for him and that their children played together.
The body was found about 1:50 p.m. in a rural area outside Golden City, the Highway Patrol said.

Yvonne Baldelli Update: Remains found in Panama may be those of missing Calif. woman, report says
August 21, 2013 5:04 PM
By Stephanie Slifer
(CBS) PANAMA - Authorities are trying to determine whether a human skull found in Panama is that of Yvonne Baldelli, a U.S. woman who disappeared almost two years ago, the FBI reportedly told FoxNews.com.
Baldelli, 42, of southern California, was last seen near Panama's border with Costa Rica in November 2011. She was reported missing by her family in January 2012 after she failed to show up for a family reunion.
Authorities arrested Brian Brimager, a retired Marine and Baldelli's one-time boyfriend, in June on charges of obstructing justice in connection with her disappearance, Fox reports.
The human skull was found Tuesday in a "green military style" backpack along with some bones by a Panamanian resident who lives on Isla Carenero, where Baldelli was last seen, Fox reports. Law enforcement also reportedly confirmed to the network that the bag contained women's clothing.
Baldelli moved from Dana Point, Calif. to Panama with Brimager in October 2011 in search of a fresh start.

Officials in Panama say they have a person of interest in the case of missing California woman Yvonne Baldelli, who vanished five months ago, "CBS This Morning" reports. On April 24, 2012, a Panamanian official said the FBI is investigating Baldelli's boyfriend, Brian Brimager, in connection to the disappearance. Baldelli, 41, who was recently divorced and had been laid off from her job at Proctor and Gamble, reportedly moved to Panama in September with Brimager in search of a fresh start. She hasn't been seen or heard from since last November. Everything had appeared fine, until Baldelli abruptly stopped contacting her family. Phone calls went unanswered and she missed a family reunion. Baldelli is seen in this undated photo.

Machete, email detailed in Panama killing
By Kristina Davis
4:55 p.m.June 28, 2013
Brian Brimager, left, and Yvonne Baldelli moved to Panama in September, according to Panamanian authorities investigating Baldelli's disappearance. Brimager was indicted on charges of obstruction of justice and making a false statement to a federal officer. — PHOTO COURTESY OF PANAMA GUIDE/Orange Country Register.
SAN DIEGO — In the weeks following the disappearance of his girlfriend in Panama, a former Marine sold a used machete online, stating in the ad: “Don’t worry, I’ve only killed one person with it,” a prosecutor said Friday.
The example of Brian Brimager’s odd behavior was among many that the federal government detailed Friday as it laid out a case for murder and deception. The 37-year-old Vista resident is accused of killing girlfriend Yvonne Baldelli in 2011, dumping her body and embarking on an elaborate cover-up scheme.
At the end of an intense hourlong detention hearing in San Diego federal court, U.S. Magistrate Judge William V. Gallo ordered Brimager to remain jailed without bail.

Former Marine killed ex-girlfriend in Panama, tried to cover it up with phony emails: feds
Federal investigators say former Marine Brian Brimager's computer contained logs showing he searched for 'washing mattress blood stain' on the day after his girlfriend, Yvonne Baldelli, disappeared while they were living in Panama.
By PHILIP CAUFIELD / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
Friday, June 28, 2013, 8:40 AM
A former Marine killed his girlfriend in Panama in 2011 and then staged a cover-up to fool her family and authorities into thinking she'd fled to Costa Rica with another man, feds say.
Brian Brimager, 37, was arrested Thursday in San Diego and charged with lying to feds about what happened to his former flame, Yvonne Baldelli, 42, while the two were living in on Isla Carenero, a small island off Panama's coast, in November 2011, newspaper U-T San Diego reported.
Brimager, of Vista, Calif., wasn't formally charged with murder, but the indictment accuses him of killing her at the hostel they were staying in and then dumping her body somewhere.
Investigators said they found cached web searches for "washing mattress blood stain" on Brimager's computer on Nov. 27 2011, the day after feds his girlfriend went missing, the newspaper reported.

Remains found in Panama may be those of missing California woman Yvonne Baldelli
By Cristina Corbin / Published August 21, 2013 / FoxNews.com
Yvonne Baldelli, of southern California, was last seen in November 2011 in Isla Carenero, one of several islands in the province of Bocas del Toro on Panama's Caribbean coast. In June, U.S. authorities arrested Brian Brimager, a retired Marine and Baldelli's former boyfriend, on charges of obstructing justice in connection with the 42-year-old woman's disappearance.
Prosecutors claim Brimager, of Dana Point, Calif., assaulted Baldelli, also of Dana Point, multiple times shortly after the couple arrived in Panama in October 2011. The unsealed indictment alleges Brimager began emailing another woman, the mother of his young daughter, about plans to move back to California and help raise their child. The emails did not mention Baldelli, according to prosecutors.
On Tuesday, a Panamanian resident who lives on Isla Carenero found a "green military style" backpack containing a human skull and some bones, but not a complete skeleton. The bag also contained women's clothing, according to law enforcement.

Body Found On Isla Carenero "Unofficially Confirmed" To Be Yvonne Baldelli
Monday, August 26 2013 @ 12:16 PM EDT
Contributed by: Don Winner
Police detectives and investigators who work for the prosecutor's office of the Public Ministry in the Republic of Panama have "unofficially confirmed" the body discovered on Isla Carenero on Tuesday of last week is that of the missing Yvonne Baldelli.
The preliminary identification was made through dental records and other evidence collected from the crime scene where the body was recovered. However there are some technical legal issues regarding how the Panamanian authorities obtained copies of those records - meaning - everyone involved in the case wants to make absolutely sure they are working with an official copy of Yvonne Baldelli's dental records obtained through proper and verifiable legal channels.
Investigators and judicial officials in both Panama and the United States are anticipating eventually one of two scenarios will take place.
In the first scenario, Brian Brimager might be charged with the murder of Yvonne Baldelli in the United States, and he could face trial there. In that case, prosecutors responsible for presenting the evidence in US court will have to be able to prove the body discovered last week was, in fact, that of Yvonne Baldelli. Therefore, US officials - working through the office of the Legal Attaché in the US Embassy in Panama City and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents assigned to that office - have been coordinating with their counterparts in San Diego, California to obtain Yvonne Baldelli's dental records, and to provide them to the Panamanian investigators within a thoroughly documented regimen or "chain of custody" for evidence. Everyone wants the same thing - no room for errors or mistakes, or for a slick defense lawyer to have some crucial evidence tossed at trial.
But another scenario might potentially unfold. It's expected prosecutors in Panama will be charging Brian Brimager with the murder of Yvonne Baldelli this week. Brimager traveled to Panama with Baldelli, and he killed her on Isla Carenero in Bocas del Toro, in Panama. Clearly, the Panamanian prosecutors will have both the legal and moral authority to either request or demand US officials return Brian Brimager to Panama to face trial.

(CBS/AP) PANAMA CITY - Officials in Panama have identified the skeletal remains of Yvonne Lee Baldelli, a California woman who disappeared in 2011 in Panama after arriving in the country with her boyfriend, authorities said Wednesday.
DNA testing confirmed that the remains found last week on the island province of Bocas del Toro came from Baldelli, who was last seen there in November 2011, prosecutor Vielka Gisela Broce said.

Baldelli's sister, Michelle Faust, told The Associated Press on Wednesday that Brimager is being held in California on obstruction of justice charges.
"The whole family has been very sad and desperate ... we didn't know where Yvonne was," Faust said. "The good thing about today is that once the evidence (from the remains) is studied we will be able to bring her home."
Panamanian investigators and FBI agents are working on the case.

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A Ridgeville mother awaiting trial for allegedly killing her 16-month-old son recently gave birth to another child.
Sources tell us the Department of Social Services has been contacted that the suspect, Amber Bracci, has a newborn baby.
The trial for Bracci and her co-defendant, John Weaver, could be held late this year or early next year, according to First Circuit Solicitor David Pascoe.
Right now, both Bracci and Weaver are out on bond. Bracci was 19 years old in early 2011 when Dorchester County deputies say she and Weaver killed her 16-month-old son Rowan Bracci.
Both are charged with homicide by child abuse.
Investigators said at the time, the child died from a closed head injury at the hands of another person or persons.

Authorities are searching for a missing 5-month-old baby who is missing from Illinois.
Joshua Summeries lived with his mother and her boyfriend at an apartment in the 2300 block of Galilee in Zion.
Joshua's mother called the police and said her son had been abducted by a man that had taken him out of a window. Then that afternoon Joshua's mother stated that Joshua was crying a lot so her boyfriend "went to quiet him," and she has not seen him since. The boyfriend was found hiding in the woods on the north end of town.
Neighbors told CBS Chicago that they heard arguing at the apartment that Joshua mother and boyfriend moved into a couple of weeks ago.
The police have combed the neighborhood searching for Joshua and he is still missing as of Wednesday night.

I am sickened that so many of our little ones are never found and the trash that murders them gets 3 squares.

Man seeks visitation rights for child he fathered through rape

Imagine getting raped, giving birth to a baby, and four years later going to court to stop the rapist from seeing your child.
That's what's happening in Massachusetts. Twenty-four-year-old Jamie Melendez was convicted of raping a 14-year-old girl in 2009 and now he wants visitation rights.
This is a topic we have covered on OutFront and as we have reported, rapists are entitled to parental rights in 31 states across the United States.

Masha Allen Lawsuit: Child Porn Victim Sues Viewers For $150K Apiece
By MARYCLAIRE DALE 08/27/13 03:38 PM ET EDT / AP
PHILADELPHIA — A child pornography victim from Pennsylvania is using a law that carries her name to seek at least $150,000 each from her father, 13 other jailed men and anyone else who viewed explicit images of her.
"Masha's Law" is named for Masha Allen, a Russian orphan adopted at age 5 by divorced Pittsburgh-area millionaire Matthew Mancuso. He's in prison for making and posting about 200 sexually explicit images of her that authorities believe have been viewed millions of times online.
The FBI sought the identity of the child known as the "Internet Girl" or "Disney World Girl" and located Masha in 2003, when she was 10. She is now 20 and has changed her name to regain some measure of privacy after testifying in Congress.
"Why didn't anyone ever check up on me?" she asked during her testimony before a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee, according to a transcript.

Grant Hayes trial in NC being streamed "live" (Laura J. Ackerson murder)
For those who like to watch trials being "live streamed", the Grant Hayes trial is being "live streamed" by WRAL in Raleigh, NC. They do an exceptional job and by late evening or before midnight each trial day, WRAL will have the day's testimony archived. So if you can't watch the trial in "real" time, you can watch at your convenience.
This will be a very interesting trial. Judge Stephens is the presiding judge in Raleigh, Wake County, NC. For your info, he was the presiding judge in the Jason Young trial last year.

Re: Developing Stories
All three of these articles pertain to the same story, so I added them as one comment. The first one contains info on how the investigation got started, the second one more specifically describes Snook's horrendous sexual crimes against children, and the third is the 'sentence' he received.
He'll be out in 10 years, if not before.

"Snook, who remains in custody at an undisclosed location, served as director of the Saint John Inner City Youth Ministry, a foster parent and and an active community volunteer.
The investigation against him started in Toronto in 2011 when an RCMP officer discovered an unknown person in the Saint John area trading child pornography online.
Someone linked to Snook's Martha Avenue home was trading hundreds of sexual images of boys as young as toddlers engaged in various sexual acts with adult males and prepubescent males, according to previously-released search warrants.
Someone at the address also offered up young boys for live web cam sessions, claiming children in the city were widely available to him, according to the more than 500 pages of documents.
Search warrants obtained by CBC News indicate Saint John police believe Snook's SUV and camper were used in the the commission of the crimes.
The charges against Snook include: nine counts of making child pornography, two counts of possession child pornography and two counts of making child pornography available.
There are also two counts of sexual assault, 13 counts of sexually touching a minor, 10 counts of inviting a youth to touch him, three counts of touching a child for a sexual purpose while in a position of trust and four counts of communicating with a child for a sexual purpose.
One of the charges is extortion — inducing a child by threats to distribute or post a naked picture of himself."

Reports of abuse and inappropriate behaviour by former Saint John councillor Donnie Snook at least six years ago went unheeded, a provincial courtroom heard on Thursday during his sentencing hearing.
Snook pleaded guilty in May to 46 sex abuse charges dating back to 2001, involving 17 boys as young as five years old.
In 2007, a 14-year-old boy, identified as H.I., told his parents Snook had abused him as he slept, but they didn't believe him, said Crown prosecutor Karen Lee Lamrock.
The boy, who cannot be identified in accordance with a publication ban, then told the Department of Social Development.
Snook was suspended as director of the Saint John Inner City Youth Ministry for three months during an investigation, which went on to the police as well as the Crown, but "no charges were approved," said Lamrock.
Snook returned to work and the boy who made the accusation ended up "ostracized" from all of the activities Snook was involved in, including the hot lunch program for disadvantaged youth, called the Chicken Noodle Club.

"Crown prosecutor Karen Lee Lamrock recommended Snook be sentenced to 21 years in prison, with no eligibility for parole for at least 10 years.
She said she initially tried to calculate a recommended sentence based on the individual victims, but came up with a total of more than 75 years.
Some of the aggravating factors included the number of victims, which Lamrock compared to the size of a kindergarten class, as well as the period of time the abuse continued — about 13 years.
Lamrock also stressed Snook's position of trust as an aggravating factor. He had access to victims and the trust of parents because of his position as a youth ministry leader, she said.
The fact he abused a foster child, placed in his care by the Department of Social Development, was also striking, said Lamrock.
Snook also abused a number of children who were visiting one of his foster children. So he used that child to gain access to victims, she said.
Snook also had unprotected sex with the victims, induced group sexual activities, permitted them to use alcohol and drugs, and used money as an incentive.
The Crown noted his behaviour increased in frequency, severity and aggressiveness over time, up to and including the extortion charge, where Snook threatened to post naked images of a boy on the internet if he refused to continue to co-operate.
A pre-sentence report found Snook is "clearly a pedophile," who is at the high end of the moderate risk level to re-offend, said Lamrock.
Snook is optimistic about treatment and rehabilitation, she said.
But the "driving factor " behind his behaviour "appears to be his deviant sexual interest in children," which is "not likely to go away," according to psychologist and associate University of New Brunswick professor Mary Ann Campbell.
It is "part of his sexual orientation," she said, after spending about 12 hours interviewing Snook and conducting psychological tests. However, Campbell did suggest Snook can learn to "manage" it with treatment.
Campbell, who is an expert in risk assessment and behaviour, also addressed whether Snook being abused as a child may have contributed to his crimes.
She said only three to 12 per cent of abuse victims go on to sexually offend as adults. Their risk is higher if they "suffer in silence" and don't disclose the abuse, or if they do tell someone and aren't believed, she said.
Campbell also found Snook is capable of feeling empathy, but didn't at the time he was abusing his victims.
She said he tended to regret his behaviour after the fact, but it wasn't strong enough to stop him.
Some of the mitigating factors, the Crown said, are that Snook pleaded guilty and co-operated with police. She said investigators would not have known about a number of the victims if Snook hadn't told them. There were also several victims police knew about but who likely wouldn't have given statements if Snook hadn't told first, she said."

Ryan Ferguson, left, and his accuser, Charles Erickson (CBS News/48 Hours)

[This story previously aired on Feb. 23, 2013. It was updated on June 15.]
(CBS NEWS) JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- I'm Erin Moriarty. I have been covering Ryan Ferguson's case now for more than seven years. Ferguson was charged with killing a man named Kent Heitholt on Halloween night 2001.
From the beginning, there was just something not right about this case. There was plenty of physical evidence at the crime scene -- hair, fingerprints and bloody shoe prints -- but none of it matched him.
The entire case hinged on one troubled accuser: Charles Erickson.
Bit by bit, the case against Ferguson has fallen apart, and yet, his conviction has been upheld time and time again. This time, however, an unexpected development may make a difference.
For the first time, Ferguson's accuser spoke publicly ... and what a story he told.

Bakersfield principal arrested in husband's murder to be set free
Tuesday, September 03, 2013
By Elex Michaelson and Subha Ravindhran
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KABC) -- A Bakersfield elementary school principal who was arrested for the murder of her husband is expected to be released from jail Tuesday, according to the Kern County District Attorney's Office.
Deputy District Attorney Andrea Kohler says all charges against 46-year-old Leslie Janea Chance have been dropped. The district attorney said the sheriff could re-arrest Chance in the future if additional evidence is found.
~Snipped~
But authorities say after farm workers discovered Todd Chance's body, his Ford Mustang was found abandoned at an intersection 20 miles away. They say his wife was driving, ditched the car and walked home.
Investigators say they have recovered a murder weapon, but they still do not appear to have a motive.

John Esposito Dead: Katie Beers' Kidnapper Found 'Not Breathing' In Prison Cell
By FRANK ELTMAN and ULA ILNYTZKY 09/05/13 11:01 AM ET EDT / AP
MINEOLA, N.Y. -- A man convicted of imprisoning a 10-year-old girl for 17 days in a suburban New York dungeon was found dead in his cell, and she expressed sympathy for his family but not for him.
John Esposito was found unresponsive at a prison in Ossining, N.Y., on Wednesday, said spokeswoman Linda Foglia. The death is under investigation but does not appear to be suspicious, she said.
Esposito, 64, was serving 15 years to life for kidnapping Katie Beers and hiding her under his Bay Shore, Long Island, home in 1992.
~Snipped~
Beers, now 30, noted the coincidence of Esposito's passing one day after notorious Cleveland kidnapper Ariel Castro committed suicide.
"I tweeted something about how within 24 hours, two monsters have died."

Debra Milke Released: Judge Allows Arizona Woman Bail After Second Accusation In Son's Death
By PAUL DAVENPORT and BOB CHRISTIE 09/05/13 09:24 PM ET EDT / AP
PHOENIX — More than two decades after she was sent to death row, an Arizona woman convicted of having her 4-year-old son killed for an insurance payout could soon be freed while she awaits a retrial in the case that made her one of the state's most reviled inmates.
Judge Rosa Mroz of Maricopa County Superior Court set Debra Milke's bond at $250,000 Thursday, saying there's no direct evidence linking her with her son's death other than a purported confession to a detective. And, the judge said, the validity of that confession is in doubt.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Milke would probably be released Friday. Defense attorney Michael Kimerer said in an email that Milke could be released Friday afternoon, but provided no other information.
If she is freed, Milke's lawyers have said she plans to stay at a home that supporters bought for her in the Phoenix area. She has been imprisoned since 1990.

A week in, authorities focus on charred remains of what authorities say is an adult male who appears to be set a-fire.
In Schererville Indiana, his uncle Frank David’s gut says, “That that’s more than likely him. I don’t want to face that right now.”
His nephew Bryce drove to break-up with his girlfriend last week and ran out of gas on his way back in a mountainous region of LA County. His parents became worried. He said he’d be home.
His overturned vehicle was later found and now that body was discovered near there.

Parents React to Burned Body Found Near Search Area for Laguna Niguel Teen
Posted by Peter Schelden (Editor) , September 04, 2013 at 11:58 AM
A burned body was discovered today by Los Angeles County firefighters who were called to the scene to put out a reported brush fire.
The body was discovered in the same area where a search was underway for 19-year-old Bryce Laspisa of Laguna Niguel, who was last heard from about 2 a.m. Friday, when he called his mother from the road after driving south from his school, Sierra College, which is north of Sacramento.
Laspisa's parents reacted to the news on Twitter around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday:
"At this time, we do NOT know whether the burned body they found 3 miles down the road from where Bryce's car was found Friday is or isn't Bryce's. The detective has not contacted us. We are just waiting in limbo at home. The tv report just stated they are waiting for the coroner's office to arrive on scene."

Couple At The Center Of High-Profile Torture Case Lose Custody Of Newborn Daughter
Reported by: Katelyn Sykes
Web Producer: Katelyn Sykes
Reported: Sep. 6, 2013 9:42 AM EDT
Updated: Sep. 6, 2013 3:18 PM EDT
Ripley , Jackson County , West Virginia
The Jackson County couple at the center of a high-profile torture case that was later dismissed said Child Protective Services has taken custody of their newborn daughter.
The 16-page order was part of an investigation the agency was doing into the family of Peter and Stephanie Lizon. It was part of the reversal of guardianship of their 2-year-old son. He was in the care of Stephanie Lizon's parents.
"They continued assuring us that it's routine formality, that their evaluation of us is so far is largely positive, that they were recommending the court to return our child immediately," Peter Lizon said. "In fact, they apparently had this report out for a few days and were stalling in order to push the removal order through the court."
Stephanie Lizon said Jackson County Circuit Court Judge Tom Evans granted an emergency removal order on Thursday, placing her 3-week-old daughter into CPS custody. She said the court is using dismissed evidence as grounds for the order. She said the order alleges ongoing domestic violence within the house and her daughter, Bozena, isn't safe.
