On Wednesday, the Sanborn County Sheriff wanted to talk with Cyriacks husband, Bradley Cyriacks.

A protection order filed by Rachel Cyriacks in August alleged domestic abuse in the relationship and said the couple was in the middle of a divorce.

The Sanborn County Sheriff says they have talked with Bradley Cyriacks in the last 24 hours. Sheriff Tom Fridley says he is not a suspect and had no information on where his wife might be.

Sanborn County authorities say a 30-year-old Woonsocket woman has been missing for more than a month and they're hoping to talk to her husband about the disappearance.
Rachel Cyriacks was last seen working at a temp job at Performance Pet Products in Mitchell on November 11. Her parents reported her missing Monday.

The 1995 Chevy pickup that Cyriacks was reported to be driving was found at the home that her ex-husband, Bradley Cyriacks, was staying at. Law enforcement looked into that lead, but it was unfounded.

Per the Linked article below, Rachel Cyriacks was last seen in Woonsocket on the morning of 11/13/13 but was reported missing on 12/16/13.

Her missing date is 11/13/13.

PIERRE, SD - The South Dakota Attorney General’s Office says the search continues for 30-year-old Rachel Cyriacks.

Cyriacks was reported missing on December 16, but in a news release sent late Monday afternoon Attorney General Marty Jackley’s Office says Cyriacks was last seen in Woonsocket on the morning of November 13.

Fridley said authorities aren’t sure of the whereabouts of Rachel’s husband, Bradley Cyriacks.

The two have had a difficult relationship, according to court papers.

Rachel filed a temporary protection order against Bradley in August. In the paperwork, she says she was seeking a divorce, one that he didn’t want.

Rachel says in the paperwork her husband came to her house, pulled her hair, hit her several times in the head and face and hit and pushed her. He also allegedly threatened her with a knife.

The protection order, which was in effect about a month, was dismissed after Rachel didn’t appear in court to extend the order.

Bradley had been charged with kidnapping and violating the protection order. The kidnapping charge was dropped, but he pleaded guilty to violating the protection order and received a suspended sentence in November. He spent about a week in jail.

Conditions for his release specified he stay away from his wife and complete batterers’ classes.

Bradley was charged in November with resisting arrest on Halloween night. He’s scheduled to appear in court Jan. 21 in Sanborn County on that charge; however, law enforcement have not been able to find him to serve his summons.

WOONSOCKET — Law enforcement officials released a photo Thursday of a pickup truck that a missing Woonsocket woman was last known to have driven in November.

Rachel Cyriacks, 30, was reported missing in December but has actually been missing nearly two months since about Nov. 13.

In a news release Thursday afternoon, the South Dakota Attorney General’s Office stated law enforcement is in possession of a silver 1995 Chevrolet Silverado. The pickup has a license plate of 4CH 634.

“We’re looking at both sides,” Fridley said. “We are trying to zero in or get to some point as to decide which way we can go.”

Law Enforcement Releases Additional Photos in the Disappearance of Rachel Cyriacks


PIERRE, S.D  -  Law enforcement continues the search for Rachel Cyriacks of Woonsocket. Cyriacks, 30, was last seen in Woonsocket on the morning of November 13, 2013. She is 5’5” tall and weighing approximately 140 lbs. Attached is a photo of a silver Chevrolet c1500 pickup with license 4CH 634. This vehicle is currently in law enforcement possession, but anyone who might have seen this vehicle on or around the morning of November 13, 2013 is asked to contact law enforcement. There is significant damage to the under carriage of the pickup, so law enforcement is asking individuals in rural  Beadle, Sanborn and Davison counties to look for property damage to fences, fields or secondary roads.  In addition, attached is a poster with additional images of Cyriacks.

These photos appear to be a mug shot photo with photos of tattoos. I wonder if Rachel was booked into jail at some previous time in her life. Just my opinion.

Authorities have released an image of the vehicle a missing Woonsocket woman was last seen driving.

Rachel Cyriacks, 30, was last seen on the morning of Nov. 13, 2013 in Woonsocket. The vehicle, a silver Chevrolet c1500 pickup was found with severe damage to the undercarriage, according to a South Dakota Attorney General’s Office news release.

The vehicle is in law enforcement possession but anyone who may have seen it on or about Nov. 13, 2013 is asked to contact law enforcement. Law enforcement officials are also asking residents of Sanborn, Beadle and Davidson counties to look for property damage to fences fields or secondary roads that may have been caused by the vehicle.

I find that the way the above quoted statement is written is ambiguous.. can be twisted to several meanings….

WOONSOCKET, SD - Rachel Cyriacks is still missing, but there is a new lead that authorities hope will help them find her.

The Sanborn County Sheriff's office is holding a silver Chevrolet c1500 pickup that is connected to this case.  After looking more closely at the vehicle, officers noticed some damage to the underside of the pickup. That's a new clue for officers who feared the other leads in the case had dried up.

The Sanborn County Sheriff's Office was first handling the Cyriacks investigation after it first received the report of the missing person. As the investigation spread into multiple counties, the sheriff decided to call in more resources, which is why the Division of Criminal Investigation is now on the case.
