Missing Indianapolis brothers: Police asking for help finding two brothers missing since Saturday AM

INDIANAPOLIS -- Two Indianapolis brothers went missing Saturday morning, and police are asking for the public's help in finding them.

Investigators said Gabriel Emiliano Bernal, 10, and his brother Roberto Bernal, 9, went missing from their mother's Indianapolis home sometime between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. Saturday.

The boys might be with their biological father, Gabriel Bernal Diaz, and police said it's possible that Diaz could have traveled as far as Texas with the boys.

Anyone with information about the missing boys or their father and the car he might be driving is asked to call police at (317) 327-3811.

UPDATED NEWS RELEASE - MISSING BROTHERS



INDIANAPOLIS - Detectives continue to search for the whereabouts of 10-year-old Gabriel Emiliano Bernal and 9-year-old Roberto Bernal.  Detectives have gathered information that their father may have traveled as far as Texas with both children.

Detectives urge anyone with information about the make, model and color of the car that their father may be using to call IMPD at (317) 327-3811. Presently, no other information is available.

INDIANAPOLIS - Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Missing Person Unit need help locating two brothers that went missing today sometime between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

Detectives believe the children, 10-year-old Gabriel Emiliano Bernal and his 9-year-old brother Roberto Bernal may be with their biological father Mr. Gabriel Bernal Diaz but at present detectives cannot confirm that.  The two brothers were taken from their mother's home earlier today.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mr. Diaz or his two sons is asked to call IMPD or your nearest police department.  It is possible that Mr. Diaz has fled the city heading south.

Please note the first attachment is of the father and two brothers and is the photo is about two years old.  The second attachment "_0(1) is of Gabriel Emiliano Bernal and the third attachment "_0" is that of Roberto Bernal.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is still searching for two missing children, IMPD said Sunday.

Gabriel Bernal, 10, and Roberto Bernal, 9, are missing, according to police.

The brothers went missing between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. Saturday.

Detectives believe they may be with their biological father, Gabriel Bernal Diaz, seen on the left in the photo above. The pair were taken from their mother’s home Saturday.

Police said Sunday that the father may have traveled as far as Texas with both children.

The photo above shows the children two years ago, police say.
