The article is on the news portal here on RC.This woman shouldn't be too hard to identify from the video (someone she knows should recognize her).Maybe she will come forward when she finds out there is a video.

Hopefully she has information that will help find Haleigh.

Maybe she is a Psychic dropping off a tip.

Mystery Woman Drops Off Haleigh Cummings 'Tip' at Newspaper
ST. AUGUSTINE, FL -- Putnam County authorities are looking for the woman who dropped off a letter at the St. Augustine Record Newspaper on Wednesday afternoon.

The associate editor of the newspaper said it contained a tip regarding the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings.

Detectives want to talk to the woman, who did not identify herself in the letter. They are asking for the public's help.

The surveillance video shows it took just a few seconds for the blonde woman in blue scrubs to give a newspaper receptionist the letter.

"My name, and the paper's name, and address was on the envelope, sealed," said Richard Prior, Associate Editor for the St. Augustine Record.

"It could go a long way to solving what happened," said Prior.

Prior tells First Coast News Reporter Monica Landeros that he made a copy of the letter, and gave the original to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.

"They're looking at letter and envelope for fingerprints," said Prior.

He can't reveal what the letter says. However, Prior said it is one paragraph long, typed, and has three letters at the bottom that resemble initials.

"If the information is accurate, it's going to be pretty volatile," said Prior.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is not commenting on the letter but released the video in hopes that someone would recognize the woman wearing sunglasses.

"The person needs to contact the Putnam County Sheriff's Office so they can determine if there's any validity to the information," said Prior.

Prior said he cannot reveal what the letter says because it could hurt the Haleigh Cummings investigation.

However, Prior said at some point, he would like to reveal the details in a newspaper article.

I'm glad Prior chose to put the investigation first and not reveal what's in the letter. I really hope the letter contains legitimate information that helps authorities solve this case.

ST. AUGUSTINE, FL -- Detectives say they have spoken with the woman who dropped off a letter in St. Augustine last week about Haleigh Cummings.

According to Capt. Dick Schauland with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, she learned that detectives wanted to speak with her, so she came by the office voluntarily.

Detectives are not releasing the woman's name or the contents of the letter, but they say she told them she was dropping it off for someone else.
