Casey Anthony Prosecutor Solicits Campaign Donations From Casey's Defense Lawyer

Jeff Ashton, the guy who unsuccessfully prosecuted Casey Anthony for murder and is now running for Orange-Osceola State Attorney, recently sent a mass email to solicit donations ... and one of the recipients was Casey's lead attorney, Jose Baez.

The email, obtained by TMZ, cites Ashton's 30 years of experience ... but makes no mention of the Anthony trial.

And American Idol judges aren't much brighter...

I wrote yesterday about the Idol judges giving Jessica Sanchez the wrong advice, telling her to sing more like she did the other night. What they failed to realize is that because there are mostly under-16 kids voting, they didn't get the mature songs that the 16 year old was singing.

The AI judges used their save the week before when the voters eliminated Jessica Sanchez, and as a result, they voted for her this week in a frenzy, and now Colton Dixon is gone.

Unbelievable!
